Hotels near Eunpyeong-Gu, Seoul

While the hotel is not located near the bustling area of myeongdong and hongdae, it provided me with a more local experience. Hotel is about 40 mins by public transport to Hongdae. There are many Korean food options below (no more than 5 minutes away) - kBBQ, oxhead soup and bean sprout soup. It is also located between two CU which is one of the convenience store franchise in Korea. There are buses nearby that you can take to explore other activities such as hiking. There is a market which I didn’t explore. There’s also a roof top where you can enjoy the view of the vicinity. I will definitely return to this hotel.

Tho it is located a bit away from the center, it is very quiet even at night. It’s a great value for money hotel, perfect for both traveling and relaxing. It was easy to get around since the hotel is close to the station. You can also take as much water as you need from the refrigerator next to the front desk. In the breakfast lounge, complimentary snacks and cup noodles are provided. Housekeeping is very accommodating and responds according to your requested time. The room also has a bathtub, so you can relax comfortably. While it may not be a luxury 3 or 4 star hotel, considering the cleanliness of the rooms, the location, and the friendliness of the front desk staff, it is a very reasonable and worthwhile place to stay.

The room isn't huge, but it has a window for good ventilation, so there's no weird smell. The bathroom is very clean, and there's a kettle to boil water, which is convenient for Chinese guests. Breakfast offers a good variety of dishes and is safe and hygienic. The 6012 airport shuttle bus stops right downstairs, making it easy to catch a flight.

The type of room we had reserved is the apartment type that consist of 3 bedrooms and 1 living room. The size is big but there is no daily service to clean the room. The apartment is located in the front area of the hotel, separating from the hotel. The CU shop (24hrs) was easily to walk in 5 min. The location is far from the subway so using taxi is more convenient.

The hotel was clean, nice, and cozy. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a proper wardrobe in the room (just a hanger with hooks). For some unknown reason, they only left one shower towel each time they cleaned, but that wasn't a big deal either. The hotel is quite far from the city center, and the metro line gets crowded in the evenings, so it takes about 30-40 minutes to get to the center by subway. There's a large shopping mall nearby with various brands and food courts. We didn't have any issues with dining; there are cafes and restaurants in the area. If you take the metro in the opposite direction from the center, you'll find yourself in a pretty lively neighborhood. The mountain view wasn't quite as advertised; it was more of a road view.

Good price, nice staffs, room is clean and there are lots of good restaurants and close to Emart.

The owner's aunt is so kind and the size of the room inside is good value for money ~~ It's definitely like a villa ㅋㅋ I wish the parking lot was a little spacious ㅠ

The hotel is roughly equidistant from Jeungmi and Deungchon stations on Line 9. Jeungmi is a bit closer but involves a steep incline, while Deungchon is slightly further but has a gentler slope. We opted for Jeungmi Station for both arriving at and departing from the hotel. Incheon Airport is about an hour away by subway. The hotel also provides information on airport buses, but they are significantly more expensive than public transport. Since we were already heading to the subway, we decided to stick with it. Moreover, we had purchased a Climate Card (15,000 KRW for 5 days of unlimited travel), which covered our airport journey as well. The most convenient way to get around from the hotel is by bus. Bus 6712 is a must-remember: it takes you to Hapjeong Station for transfers to Subway Lines 2 and 6, or directly to Hongdae. We used this bus daily. Definitely download Naver Maps for navigation! The hotel rooms are quite spacious, equipped with both air conditioning and underfloor heating. However, I was baffled by the bathroom's lack of a proper wet/dry separation. There's a glass screen, but it doesn't seal at the bottom, and there's no curb in the shower area to contain the water. Consequently, after every shower, the entire bathroom floor would be soaked. I ended up having to huddle in a corner just to shower. Despite its generous size, the bathroom's design is very impractical. There's a convenience store conveniently located on the ground floor, and the lounge area is quite spacious. We noticed a lot of tour groups from Southeast Asia staying here. Unfortunately, the hotel's soundproofing isn't great. We could often hear the tour groups quite loudly when they left early in the mornings or returned late at night.

The room has a water dispenser, microwave, and a fridge. It's not huge but perfectly adequate. It's very close to MBC, SBS, and Prism Tower. The nearby bus stops, subway stations, and convenience stores are all reasonably close. However, it's not a very lively area. It's on the top floor and there's no elevator, so climbing the stairs gets increasingly hot and stuffy since there's no air conditioning in the hallway. The water pressure in the shower is also very low.

The price was quite reasonable, and the amenities were fairly complete. The toilet was clean, but there were some small, stubborn stains on the bed sheets. Luggage could only be stored for free for two hours after check-out. The toiletries kit contained a full set of contraceptives and condoms; I'm not sure if they were condoms.
