It's not that near to metro station eventhought it's stated so. And it's quite hard to locate the hotel as it's in the alley. However it's very near to bus stop. No breakfast is provided but water and tea is provided for free. You can get hot water from level 2. Room is very2 basic and not really worth for money. You could actually get better hotel with the same price at sultanahmet area. When i turn on teh toilet's light and the ventilation fan, loud noise can be observed from the vantilation. Honestly i wont be repeating this hotel (with the amount of money i spend) and would rather spend a bit more to stay at better area. If it's just for a quick short stay ( i just need a place to sleep before catching flight the next day), it's still okay. But not for the rest of your stay in kadikoy or istanbul.

GGuest User 2025.12.27
This hotel met my expectations and I liked it because I found everything I needed there in excellent condition. I booked the hotel for one night to quickly walk to it and sleep after a party that ended very late. I needed a comfortable bed, soft pillows, a thick blanket, warmth in the room, cleanliness, and a shower with hot water and good pressure. But if I'm telling other travelers, I need to provide an objective picture, and there are details you should know if you plan to stay at this hotel for several days. The window view is of a dump. This is not a figure of speech. It's a real, huge dump, a waste station that completely fills the entire view from the window. You'll spend a long time looking for the entrance; it's not visible from the street. When you enter the alley, look up to the second-floor height; you'll see an advertising sign, and the door is underneath it. It's obscured by construction, and I never would have thought you had to go behind that construction structure. Immediately behind the door is a table with a guy in street clothes sitting there. He's the doorman. He has a computer, and he'll give you the keys and Wi-Fi password. Don't use the stairs; they are very dangerous, steep, and some parts lack railings. Wait for the elevator. The first floor is actually the second, so you need the elevator even for the first floor. There are no shelves in the wardrobe, which is very inconvenient. Where do you put your clothes? The hangers are also awkwardly placed. My nerves wouldn't handle this wardrobe if I lived here for more than one day. There are tea bags and sugar, but coffee is not provided. The cups are paper. The sink is small, and water runs down your elbows onto the floor. There's a hole in the shower cabin wall, apparently for ventilation; it's very drafty, so be careful. But the cabin doesn't leak, and the shower works fine; there's shampoo and shower gel. Overall, everything is clean and new, like it's just been renovated. This hotel offers good value for money and can be recommended for a one-night stay, with the windows closed.

This is a historic hotel with an excellent location and incredible value for money, especially for those who prefer staying in the Asian side. The terrace offers unparalleled sea views, and right outside the door, you'll find plenty of supermarkets and restaurants. Within a 15-minute walk, there's a metro, tram, and bus hub, as well as the bustling fashion boutiques, gift shops, and diverse dining options of the Kadıköy district. It's the perfect spot for anyone looking to do some serious shopping before leaving Turkey. The rooms are a bit dated but clean, tidy, quiet, and comfortable. All the staff are very friendly. I had the most lavish breakfast of my entire Turkey trip here, and you can even enjoy your coffee while interacting with seagulls.

I had booked the room for one night. After I checked in, I went out, but when I returned to the hotel at night, I was shocked to find that my room had been changed without my permission and my bag had been moved. I'm bewildered as to how such a change could be made without informing me. Also, there was an incredible amount of noise in the next room at night, but as soon as I reported it to reception, the noise stopped immediately. Wishing you a good day.

It was conveniently located near the ferry terminal. Despite its convenient location, the surrounding area was quiet and comfortable. The staff only spoke Turkish, but they helped us out using a translation app, so it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was at the adjacent hotel, but there was a wide variety of options and it was delicious.

If you’re staying on the Asian side, this is one of my favorite hotels. We were very pleased, as always, with its fantastic view, rooftop bar, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and well-equipped bathrooms. The price is usually a bit high, but it seems worth it. You will definitely be satisfied if you look for a comfortable well located hotel. The location is perfect for access to nearby restaurants and walking paths – everything is top-notch. Also have a free parking space which is important in Istanbul

Good hotel location. Big and beautiful room. Though toilet size is small. Poor pressure from rain headshower and no place to hang showerhead above the head. No glass to put toothbrush. No proper place to put clean tower except at below sink which is near to the floor (kinda dirty to put it there). FYI, This hotel only has 1 lift and long queue time especially during breakfast time. Almost got kicked out of my room (standard room) and changed to economy room by Weingart management due to some events and prolly not enough room for them, eventhough I have booked way early, however, trip.com has assisted me to maintain my room after a long consultation. Big thumbs up by trip.com customer service. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying at Karakoy area and wont be facing the same issue as above from their management.

Fashionable area, good hotel. The room has everything you need for your stay. Good service. I recommend going to the bar on the -1st floor, the prices are reasonable. Of the minuses - the hotel does not have breakfast, it is very noisy under the windows until 00:00 and the furniture/walls in the room are damaged (I think that it was damaged by guests - be careful with the rooms!)

I was assigned to third floor, but there was no lift. The facilities inside room, I think needed to be upgraded and renovated. Considering the price and location, it is still good, if you are going to take flight in SAW airport, you can walk to the metro station and going to the airport directly, it is my biggest consideration.

GGuest UserHampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu: Genuine Smiles, Seamless Comfort, and Turkish Warmth After countless nights spent in hotels around the world, it takes something special for a property to truly stand out. My recent stay at the Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu did just that; not through extravagance or grand gestures, but through authentic hospitality and effortless comfort. This is the kind of place that quietly wins you over, one thoughtful interaction at a time. The Perfect Blend of Ease and Energy Location & Setting Zeytinburnu might not be the first name that comes to mind when travelers think of Istanbul, yet this area surprised me. It’s strategically positioned close enough to reach Sultanahmet and Taksim with ease, yet far enough to escape the tourist crowds. The hotel itself feels like an oasis of calm within the city’s heartbeat. Step outside, and you’re minutes from transportation links, local eateries, and the Marmara coastline. Design & Comfort The moment you step into your room, you sense Hilton’s signature attention to detail—simple, modern, and purposeful. My room was bright, immaculate, and well-designed for both rest and work. The bed offered the kind of support that makes long travel days melt away, and everything, from lighting to Wi-Fi, worked exactly as it should. Small touches, like perfectly laundered linens and crisp air quality, added a layer of comfort that felt quietly luxurious. Hospitality That Feels Personal While the property itself is well-maintained, what truly makes this hotel memorable are the people behind the front desk. Fatih Tuna and Ömer are two names I won’t forget anytime soon. Their professionalism is effortless, and their kindness feels completely natural; no rehearsed smiles, no scripted greetings. Whether it was assisting with directions, offering local dining suggestions, or simply greeting guests with warmth that instantly puts you at ease, both Fatih and Ömer demonstrated a level of hospitality that’s rare even among top-tier hotels. They are the kind of hosts who remind you that genuine service can transform an ordinary stay into a meaningful experience. It’s no exaggeration to say that they embody the best of Turkish warmth; courteous, humorous, and always ready to help without ever feeling intrusive. Breakfast & Shared Spaces Breakfast each morning felt more like a pleasant ritual than a hotel buffet. The spread was abundant and fresh, featuring local cheeses, eggs, fruit, pastries, and strong Turkish tea that was hard to resist. Staff managed the flow smoothly, keeping everything replenished while maintaining the sense of calm that regular travelers quietly crave. The public areas, especially the lobby, were clean, cozy, and inviting. Whether grabbing a quick coffee, catching up on emails, or chatting with staff, the space encouraged connection rather than mere transit. Small Note The only subtle reminder that you’re still in a lively city comes from occasional distant traffic or early-morning sounds from outside. It’s faint and fleeting, more of a whisper than a disturbance. For light sleepers, a higher floor or a room facing inward may be ideal. Lasting Impression What sets Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu apart isn’t luxury, it’s sincerity. In a world full of polished but impersonal hotels, this one manages to feel human. It’s clean, consistent, and comfortable, but more importantly, it feels caring. As someone who not only travels often but also recommends hotels to colleagues and friends across continents, this property easily earns a place among those I’ll be suggesting again. There’s something compelling about how smoothly everything runs here, and it makes you wonder how the experience might evolve across different seasons or longer stays. Because when a hotel makes you curious to return, that’s when you know they’ve done something right.

GGuest UserIt is an exclusive hotel where the staff is very courteous and tries to do everything for the Guests. We had access to the Executive Lounge. The lounge is okay but there are better ones! Last year the cappuccino wasn't tasty...hasn't changed, still doesn't taste good 😀 but there are plenty of other alternatives. Nevertheless, it is a very good hotel where the staff should be mentioned that they do everything to satisfy the hotel guests.

GGuest UserPerfect location for everything we walked everywhere as the main attractions and bazaars were within 5 mins walking. Left was Hagia Sofia. Palace etc, right were bazaars...straight down was the sea. The hotel was lovely, and breakfast had everything I liked and more. The view from the top was amazing; you could see all across Istanbul. Our room was very clean, and we even had soothing music in the bathroom, which was a really nice touch. I gave 4 stars for amenities because although the hotel has a spa, I was really hoping for a hammam experience and unfortunately it was mixed. If they offered an hour or even part of the day for ladies only, this hotel would be an absolute winner. One small downside was that our taxi couldn’t drop us off or pick us up directly outside the hotel, so we had to walk about 3 minutes. That said, the area felt very safe we walked out at 10pm as two women and felt completely comfortable. There’s even a police station right opposite the hotel! Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it.

GGuest UserCrowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City: Refined Comfort and Remarkable Service (Room 3219) As someone who travels frequently for both professional and personal reasons, often staying in dozens of hotels across different countries each year, I’m not easily impressed. Yet, my recent stay at the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City genuinely stood out. It’s a property that masterfully combines thoughtful design, polished service, and a location that captures the very essence of Istanbul’s history and rhythm. An Experience Worth Remembering Location & Access Situated in the heart of the city’s historic core, this hotel makes exploration effortless. From here, it’s just a short walk to the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet, and several key transport links. The setting feels authentic and lively; ideal for guests who want proximity without sacrificing comfort. Room 3219 – Exceptional Comfort The room offered a superb balance of functionality and elegance. It was impeccably clean, featuring plush bedding, perfect lighting for reading or work, and a surprisingly quiet HVAC system, a rarity in city hotels. Small details, like the scent of fresh linen and a spotless bathroom, reinforced the sense of care behind the housekeeping standards. Service & Staff The staff are the heartbeat of this property. Every interaction, from check-in to checkout, reflected professionalism anchored in genuine warmth. They anticipated needs before being asked, making the experience feel personal rather than procedural. This consistency across teams’ front desk, dining, and housekeeping speaks volumes about the culture of service within the hotel. Dining Experience Breakfast was both indulgent and efficient. The buffet selection was diverse, featuring beautifully presented dishes that catered to both international and local palates. The staff handled the morning rush with grace and precision, maintaining quality and attentiveness without any sense of haste. Facilities & Ambience Public areas were spotless and aesthetically cohesive. The fitness and spa areas were well-maintained, creating a serene environment ideal for unwinding after long days in the city. The lounge and lobby were comfortable enough to double as workspaces, a feature that frequent travelers will appreciate. The One Minor Quirk I noticed some early-morning noise, mostly the seagulls, a distant metro vibration, and a faint scratchy sound around 6 a.m. While this didn’t detract from the overall stay, it’s worth noting for lighter sleepers. It’s a subtle reminder that even in the most refined settings, Istanbul’s energy has its own morning rhythm. Final Thoughts What defines the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City isn’t just its luxury—it’s the consistency of experience. Every aspect feels considered and intentional. Having stayed at countless hotels across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, it’s rare to find one that strikes this balance of local charm and international polish. I often recommend property to colleagues who travel as frequently as I do, and this one has already made it to the top of that list. It leaves one wondering: how might the experience differ in another season, on a higher floor, or in one of the suites overlooking the skyline? Would the same quiet elegance and seamless service hold up under different conditions? Those are questions I find myself curious to explore again, perhaps sooner than I planned.
