The biggest highlight about the place was not the location… but the staff at reception. I checked in on the 26th of December and the lady that helped me out (who started her shift at 12pm) was fantastic. So helpful and really assisted me. She remembered me from a couple nights earlier when I asked her to help me as I need to change my reservation and she went above and beyond to help me out. I wish I could remember her name but it was an uncommon name and I think I pronounced it wrong when I asked her in the first place. She knows who she is because I think is genuinely like that with all guests. Management… reward her. I’d be more than happy to identify her if ever I came back. However, one major negative was that someone who worked for the place went through our property and valuables were taken. If it’s meant to be a trusted service provided, stolen property does not build said trust. But the location is fantastic, the singer in the lobby that performs some nights is also amazing. The bathroom in the room we stayed in was weird because the toilet was positioned in an awkward way where we couldn’t even properly sit on the toilet… we had to use it side saddled. Overall, we loved the bed as it was so comfortable. Reception staff (specifically the lady I mentioned above) was extremely helpful. Housekeeping was a little slow. The bag storage was untrustworthy. Music was great. Bathroom was weird. Excellent location. I’d 100% go back… this time not using the bag storage.

I stayed here for two nights when I was in New York and loved the cute pods. If you like staying in aesthetic hotels, don’t plan on being in the hotel for very long, and don’t want to break the bank, stay here. You can’t eat or take calls in the pods though - good to be aware! What I loved: -Grown alchemist toiletries - they feel so luxe. Also the robe is so nice! -Location is amazing - walking distance to west village and broadway, easy bus / subway access to anywhere else -White noise machine - this blocks out a lot of sound and is great -Bathrooms were pretty clean - I recommend going downstairs -If you can’t carry your bag upstairs, they’ll send someone to do it which was much appreciated! What could be better: -Downstairs has a hot water machine but you need your own teabags or coffee. I bought some from a supermarket but it would be amazing if there was as an option to buy them at the hotel.

Very well placed hotel, nice bar, nice wi fi, nice view of the city!

Great location. Room is clean. View is very good. The View restaurant on the top floor of the hotel is one of the best food and best turn around view in New York city. Love the hotel free tickets to museum and hop on hop off.

I checked in during the storm period and found the night is so cold. I need to ware clothes for asleep. Facilities are all good. It would be nice in summer rather than cold seasons.

I consider this hotel high value in the expensive Manhattan/Times Square area. A long walk to Central Park with first stop Times Square. Relatively safe outside. Great breakfast buffet and the service was about as good admit gets. Proactive and helpful staff offer service with a smile.

As a youth hostel, it's great. The location is excellent for shopping and catching the train. It was snowing heavily, making for a fantastic experience. Convenience of check-in: High; Safety: The surrounding area felt okay; I felt safe going out at night.

Nice 4* hotel closed to popular Times Square and Hard Rock cafe with easy access to lots of food and amenities. City Subway is just 2mins walk from the hotel lobby Helpful staff and room is comfortable and clean Got free pass for general admission fo American Museum of Natural History Will stay at this Westin again in next visit to NY

The hotel has a prime location in the heart of Times Square. It's a modern hotel with new furnishings. The hotel lobby is on the 7th floor and has great seating.

The hotel was warm and welcoming on our arrival.Check in was quick snd easy.we agreed a preferred floor for our stay and were happy to be given a room next door to our daughter and granddaughter as requested. The room was clean and bright and was changed on the days we required and always cleaned to a high standard. Breakfasts were busy even though we changed times to find a quieter time, however there was always plenty of food available and it was always warm. Everything was tasty and fresh. We were welcomed each day whilst giving our room numbers and loved the friendliness of those doing so especially Jennie. Tables were cleaned quickly and plates removed as soon as food was consumed The hotel is in a great location close to all amenities
