Sublime Lisboa

We stayed at the hotel for the final few days of our trip. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful during our stay - helping us plan and prepare for our travel back to the US with info on the airport, setting up a cab and even providing my wife with a to go breakfast box and tea. The cleaning staff serviced the room multiple times a day so that it was always clean and the mini-bar/snacks refilled. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the accommodations in the room and patio. The restaurant and bar had excellent food and drinks and the room service was just as superb. Overall it was a nice hotel without a large number of rooms/guests so you always feel taken care of. Highly recommended

A welcome respite from the business of Lisbon, without missing a beat of destination authenticity! The whole team was so nice and welcoming and always happy to say yes to any request. And the sweet Taylor swift welcome amenity was so charming. It felt like everyone really took the time to welcome us and say, “I was enchanted to meet you!” :) For a leisure trip, it might be more fun to stay in the middle of the quaint tourist area like barrio alto, but this was also nice if you’d like to stay away from it all and still be able to access major tourist destinations and neighborhoods within minutes.

Sublime's custom bath products and front desk staff were the highlight of my stay. I miss the scent of the hand soap. As for the front desk, they're all so sweet and helpful. They will help you plan anything you desire, any time of day, like having a personal assistant. I booked the Lisboa Suite and it was very quiet - it has two doors to block hotel noise and the windows are soundproof. The large windows let gentle light into the room with views of the street and another building. Expect turn down service, having your room made up in the morning, large well lit armoire for organizing clothing, a towel warmer, tub + vanity, and giant comfy clean pillows. Be sure to have breakfast sent to your room. The bathroom detracted from the overall feel of the room. It is not stylish, beautiful or high quality. The shower feels as though you're enclosed in a flimsy box with poor lighting. I appreciated their efforts for environmental sustainability by replacing any disposable plastics with elegant natural materials.

The hotel rooms were super comfy and we had everything there we needed. The rooms were clean and very welcoming. The beds were AMAZING! I meant to ask what brand of mattress it was:) The workers at the front desk were super friendly and very helpful in our ventures out each day. And the restaurant on property was excellent! We enjoyed all of the food and loved the fact that there were more than just Portuguese wines available. We loved the Portuguese wines but it was nice to try others as well. It was a great visit to Lisbon and we VERY much appreciated Sublime Lisboa's hospitality! Thank you:)

Hotel location is good and overall service and feel is good. The Italian restaurant is excellent. However with this property critical to understand room allocation. I was put in a room which is one level below reception and which fronts onto the street. This means no privacy as public walks up and down directly in front of your windows so curtains have to be pretty much drawn at all times. So if you are spending time in the room it is not great with no daylight. Also garbage is collected in the early hours of the morning at street level which is a very early wake up call. No doubt a room on the upper floors would have been a very different experience.

Absolute perfection!! What an incredible experience we had at Sublime Lisboa - every moment spent there was so memorable. Our room was spacious, well appointed, and breathtakingly beautiful. Each member of the staff was so gracious, friendly and knowledgeable - we thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone (I miss them already!). The hotel lived up to our high expectations…above and beyond! Our first vacation to Portugal was made extra special by Sublime…we cannot wait to return!

Absolute perfection. Highly recommended. Treat yourself to the best. Stunningly beautiful and well appointed rooms. Friendly, genuine, kind and knowledgeable team. Carolina and Carolina were gems and I wish they were there to greet me at every hotel I stay at from now on. You cannot put a price on genuine, happy people or pay people enough to care in my opinion. It has to come from the heart. Thank you thank you for making our trip extra special. We wanted to thank the chef for the best Truffle Pasta and crème brûlée we have ever had. The handsome and incredibly stylish and sweet Gianluca,..thank you for an amazing and memorable dinner. What a perfect property with a staff to match. Every inch of the place and every bone of the staff is absolutely spectacular. The rooms are divine, Spacious, well laid out with thoughtful touches everywhere and glorious baths (loved my stand alone soaking tub, though I only use showers almost exclusively). The staff could not do enough, always standing and opening doors when you entered the room. The restaurant Davvero is spectacular and has finally made me a fan of Italian food. I will deal with the restaurant in a separate review. The staff will go to the ends of the world for you, whether it is restaurant reservations, booking you a day trip or simply calling a taxi or giving directions. I must say, the restaurant reservations they made packed "a punch" base on the way I was greeted when I presented myself. I stayed at the hotel on two occasions. Unfortunately, my second stay was cut short. I was in Aveiro, when I learned that my house was ravaged by a fire in which my three dogs perished. I called the hotel and informed them I was coming back earlier than anticipated because of the emergency. When I arrived at the hotel after a two and one half hour ride, one of the staff was outside the hotel to greet me. They took all my luggage and sat me down offering me both nourishment and consolation. When I got to my room it was one of their most luxurious available and everywhere I looked there was something to greet me.... fruit, wine, sparkling water with a bucket of ice, which they knew I preferred and pastries of all sorts. Though it was late at night, they also informed me that the chef was ready in the kitchen to prepare anything I desired. I was greeted first thing in the morning and put in a car to the airport. But that was not the end. On two more occasions, when I opened my email, there were messages from the collective staff offering their condolences and comfort. These were not perfunctory emails, but very personal and sincere messages from a staff that really cares. This is the type of care typical of this special place. I will be back.usuall

Best hotel experience - this hotel lives up to its name in every respect. The room we had was excellent. Really spacious and light and airy. Modern and tasteful. We asked for a bath and it was a sunken one, and divine. The staff were unfailingly helpful and pleasant. Their English is great and they organised a wonderful hairdresser for me and also a fantastic trip to the 'Harrods' of Lisbon. With free transfers thrown in. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they really made our stay sublime! I will come back to Lisbon just to stay here!
