Hotel GHT Oasis Tossa & Spa

Hotel, lovely and clean. Helpful staff. Rooms very clean. Lovely clean pool. Great location. Easily accessible to the beach and the castle. Nice buffet style food a good choice. I would have liked tea making facilities in the rooms and bigger drinking cups, but coming from England I am used to this. I would like to return either to the same place or a different location in the same hotel chain. I shall be on the look out in the near future. I loved the different cultures and mix of people staying, and made holiday friends easily. The whole package holiday was awesome and my friend thought so too. We only had to ask the staff, and the one lift was fixed straight away and we asked for another pillow, and got one straight away. We also had a lovely boat trip all along the coast on deck. We enjoyed the local Market and the shops. Thankyou Hotel Oasis.

The hotel is spotless and located in a quiet area a short walking distance from the shops, restaurants and beach. There was an extensive choice of food at the Breakfast buffet, definitely something for everyone. The staff, especially the restaurant and bar staff, are lovely. The only downside was the thin walls between the bedrooms so hopefully you get quiet neighbours! I would definitely recommend visiting the Vila Vella (the old town) as it’s absolutely beautiful. Perfect for a relaxing break.

My family and I have just had a wonderful 4 nights stay at this hotel. What stood out for us the most was the food and the service, we stayed half board but change our evening meal to the lunch for us to go out on an evening and explore tossa de mar. The lady at the cooking station is a credit to the hotel as well as the waiting staff in the restaurant. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard with fresh towels when needed. If you can, upgrade to a pool view room. The pool area is very clean, there were always sun beds available and the hotel has a very strict policy regarding reserving sun loungers which is a dream. The beach is a 10 min walk and we found a lovely kebab restaurant called Babek along the way, please try it us you get chance. We would 100% stay here again without any hesitation

The good stuff: The hotel itself is clean, has good facilities and friendly, helpful staff who spoke English/French/German/Spanish & Catalan. Definitely recommend the full board option. The food is very good - nice and varied with a cooked to order station where you get freshly cooked items. The room had two single beds making it suitable if staying with a friend. The prices in the bar are very reasonable. The spa is nice and a welcome addition. The hotel is in a good location, it’s a short walk to the beach taking it outside of the busy areas. The not so good: You do need to pay for drinks from a limited menu (except at breakfast) unless you are ok with water. The rooms are a little dated. No coffee/ tea making facilities but ours had a fridge. The pool is smaller than in the photos. We had a few issues, caused by booking via Love Holidays leaving us with a lower grade room than we expected. Unfortunately hotel was full so couldn’t upgrade. You also have to pay for spa if you booked via 3rd party which is a good reason to book directly. I’ve given 5 stars because I would go back. Tossa is a beautiful town, lots of bars without being full of youngsters.

The rooms are decent and the hotel is nice. The hotel is in a good location. They don't really cater to English for food unless you're a very big seafood fan and there's like a 2% chance you'll hear any language but French around. There's not much around to do except a little beach and a "castle"

This hotel is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in . The rooms are tiny with no kettle,glasses or cutlery . I came with a small child . The playground is a climbing frame with a pole and 2 rocking horses . It is all wobbly and unstable . The kids club they advertised looks abandoned and unused . The nightlife was on maybe 1ce since being here . At lunch and dinner it’s mainly fish and you have to pay for yours drinks so much for all inclusive . The light switch in our room is nearly hanging off the wall .. it trips and with a toddler running round it’s so unsafe . You have to pay for services at spa and book heated pool in advance which cost 10 euro . The maid are so rude they clearly do not want to do there job . They did not change our bedding or towels and left our hotel door open for hours until we got back … the queue at reception is always so long , and the staff at dinner are so rude my partner left a chair behind my sons high chair which a staff member just threw across the At floor . Then they came and snatched a drink menu off our table before we even looked at it and when we asked for it back they tutted . AtThe hotel is filled with mostly elderly that mutter and stare if your child throws a tantrum or misbehaves and as a toddler this behaviour is normal !! Our key card wouldn’t work half the time then had to wait hours at reception . However reception staff are very nice as for the bar staff .

The hotel is lovely, not too big, the staff are friendly, restaurant is comfortable and the food is good, plenty to choose from. There are no tea making facilities in the hotel rooms, which is a shame really as they do provide a small fridge in the rooms. The rooms are a good size, I think the beds might need a bit of an upgrade. Towels were lovely and a good size. Overall the Oasis Tossa is a good hotel.
