Hotels Near East India Club in London

Amazing hotel, went with my best friend for our 70th birthday. Staff were wonderful they upgraded us when they knew we were celebrating a special birthday made our stay very memorable. We highly recommend the Dilly for everything including location. Thank you so much 💕💕

Zedwell Piccadilly offers a cozy environment for a short layover in London. The hotel is situated near Regent St. where much shopping can be done. Access to the Tube is easy with the station located within 3 mins walking distance. Additionally, the hotel is guarded with security so you could reside in peace and security. My only dissatisfaction was the keycards. During my 3D2N stay, I had to reset the keycards for my friends and I 3 times, much to my annoyance. The staff were understanding however, and patiently resets it every time. Other pointers to note: - Breakfast at the hotel is quite limited, offering mainly a croissant, granola bars, and coffee. If you are looking for a heavier meal, feel free to explore the surrounding cafes. One i could recommend within 5 mins walking distance is Caffe Concerto (shown in pic) - Storage of luggage is not free, costing you 15 pounds per piece of luggage

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service provided by your hotel during my recent stay. As you are aware, I had booked a twin bed room at your esteemed five-star hotel in central location. However, upon arriving at the reception, I was informed that the room was not available. Instead, I was given a room with one double bed for two adult males. This was unacceptable and completely contrary to my booking request. As a guest, I expect the hotel to honor my booking and provide the room that I had reserved. Moreover, I trusted your hotel to provide top-notch service given the reputation and standard of a five-star hotel. This level of incompetency and disregard for the customer's booking request is not what I expected and is unacceptable. Therefore, I am requesting a refund for the room that I stayed in as it did not meet my expectations or fulfill my booking requirements. I would appreciate it if you could process the refund as soon as possible. I hope that in the future, your hotel will ensure that such incidents do not occur and that all guests receive the room that they have reserved. Thank you for your attention to this matter. The service attitude is really very good. The location is also very good, in Chinatown. It is very lively at night, but the sound insulation is very good, so don't worry. The room is really clean and not too small. There is also a small refrigerator and a safe. It is really rare to have such a hotel price and service in the center of London.

From the moment we arrived at the Assembly we were made feel so welcome. All of the staff we met with went above and beyond to provide excellent service and I really appreciated it. The location is so central and it makes an ideal family friendly base for exploring London. We will definitely be back!

Strand Palace London - December Stay Review I had a wonderful stay at Strand Palace in December. The single room was comfortable, offering a cozy space to relax after a day out in the city. The bathroom and shower were excellent, with Ritual brand shower gel, conditioner, shampoo, and lotion adding a luxurious touch. The room came well-equipped with thoughtful amenities like a cupboard, umbrella, locker, and was spotlessly clean. I appreciated the cookies, quality tea packets, and coffee provided, which made for a lovely treat during my stay. The location is fantastic, just a 7-minute walk to the nearest underground station, with easy access to buses, making it incredibly convenient to explore London. Strand Palace strikes a great balance between comfort, quality service, and prime location—highly recommended!

Booked a classic room and was upgraded to an club room, upgrade is an understatement as stayed in a classic room in the past and was much better than this room. This room was basic. The room was cold and when putting the heater/air conditioning unit on for heat it is so noisy that you can't keep it on over night so woke up a few times shivering. The shower took a long time to heat up and even then it was only warm. This room had no where to put bags without being in the way so only good if you have a small bag. I would of preferred not to have been upgraded to a club room on this occasion as I was so disappointed. Check in took over 10 minutes before being seen considering there were 3 people on reception and again with check out as there was no key drop was asked for room number that I was checking out from but wasn't asked if my stay was good or anything no good customer service. Seems like this hotel has gone down hill compared to my stay about 5 years ago.

I booked this at the last minute as I needed a place to stay near the Victoria Coach Station, and was very surprised. The room was excellent value for the price — clean, modern, thoughtfully-designed, just next to the coach station. Would definitely my top choice for next time!

My sister and I stayed for 1 night, to watch Wicked at the Apollo victoria, the room 506 was a good size , very clean and had everything possible needed. Everything is in walking distance perfect location for a bit of site seeing around london too. Will definetly use again in the future. All staff we had contact woth was reallu helpful and friendly. Also have a luggage room where you can leave your case prior to check in.

As others have mentioned, hotel public areas are clean and well presented. Unfortunately, the rooms are in need of TLC. The location is near battersea park and power station with public transport links nearby. On arrival, I was made to use a third-party QR code to register and provide ID, I was told this was so they could find me if the room was damaged! We stayed in a twin room on the 4th floor, and there was a smell of stale tobacco from the room next door (they appear to be a long-term resident leaving some of their oersonal belongings outside). The room was a nice size with a large bathroom, kitchenette, and dining table. Unfortunately the spotlights in the bathroom didn't work and the tap leaked. The doors hiding the kitchenette were broken, the hot tap in the kitchen sink didn't work, the crockery was dirty, but washing up liquid and a dish sponge was provided so we were able to wash them in the bathroom sink. The window had a note advising it was waiting repair and not to open it. It was cold outside and there was a draft coming through it. I could not find the hairdryer. Looking in the wardrobe, i found an ironing board but no iron.Apparently, you have to ask for these, but we were not told this on check-in. There was a very dirty duvet in the wardrobe and the mattress was stained, thry msy want to consider cleaning and using mattress and bedding protectors! As we were only staying 1 night, we didn't cause a fuss and reported to reception on check out so they could make repairs. Overall, this could be a great hotel if room maintenance improved, but in its current state, it's an ok stay for the price. I gave a thumbs up because its not a bad hotel, It's similar standard to other budget hotels, but with a kitchenette.
