Looks like a hotel run by an Indian family, three generations of grandparents, an old villa, 48 pounds a night is really cheap in London. It is close to Stratford subway station and Stratford center, and the transportation is convenient. The consumption nearby is cheap, a box of grapes đ1 pound, 6 chicken wings with fries and coke 4.2 pounds, very delicious, the same thing in the city center 11.95 pounds, the taste is no different. Stayed for 4 nights. Don't mind not cleaning. The bed is clean and the bath water is good enough.

Really nice place, extremely clean and huge bed for one short person like međ The bathroom was excellent too, especially the shower, itâs really clean and comfortable to shower in.
There was complimentary breakfast as well but I missed. Staffs at the reception are really friendly too!

Bed was comfortable, very little noise despite being in a busy part of Stratford... facilities decent, although the sound on the TV in room was awful. No-one in reception/bar/dining room to check-in with when we arrived, but managed to get someone eventually.
A decent hotel and what we needed after a night out in London... somewhere convenient and comfortable to stay the night. No complaints.

Great welcome and nice touch that there are tea coffee and cordial available in main reception area.
Spotlessly clean room and en-suite. Nice quality feel in the en-suite, not done cheaply like a lot of smaller hotels.
Bed was amazingly comfortable - memory foam, pillows good. Bedding crisp and clean.
TV not in the best position but ok.
Bright green light on bedroom ceiling - may be fire alarm - but it made room quite green all night - not experienced in other hotels. Ground floor room - no noticeable noise from other guests doors or them moving about.
Breakfast could be improved. Meat was hot but eggs/beans did not stay warm on buffet bar.
Location - easy to find but too far to walk from tube station so cost of bus ride extra to get there.
Excellent value for money compared to many other hotels tried. Definitely booking again - canât beat cleanlinessâŚ.

Room was as per photo, huge shower and very quiet. Lovely Christmas decor and also interesting art on the walls in the public areas.
Kettle in room was faulty but the maintenance came within 5 minutes and brought a replacement- customer care was very good.

Due to work, I had to check in at the hotel in the middle of the night. I was a bit worried that it might be inconvenient for the front desk staff, but they were not only professional but also incredibly friendly, making me feel truly welcome. Even at such a late hour, their warm service was evident, and I really appreciate their dedication!

Outstanding
GGuest UserBe careful of being unknowingly charged with a âdiscussionary charge of tipsâ (supposed to be A Conpulsory charge of tips, donât be fool by the name, it is non-discussionary) AFTER CHECKING OUT of the hotel. I was being charged with a discussionary charge of the tips on the credit card automatically without being informed upfront after I checked out and left the hotel.
When I checked out, i was informed at the counter that they were closing their account for previous day and they would help me check out my room and email me the invoice of my stay after they finished closing account. As a result, I innocently left the hotel since I thought a 5-star hotel would not have anything gone wrong. However, I was totally wrong until I saw extra charges on my credit card while not receiving any so called invoice from the hotel at all. I then reached out to Trip.com to request for the invoice that they have promised to send to me and it was then I was informed that the extra charges were from a discussionary charge of tips. I wasnât happy about the way this was done hence I requested for a refund for this since it clearly stated this is a DISCUSSIONARY fee, not a compulsory fee. However, I was informed that this is a Non-refundable fee and my request was denied.
Out of so many hotels I have stayed, it is unbelievable that in a 5-Star hotel, I was forced to pay something that wasnât even being informed upfront. In addition, with the fee name suggested, it is a discussionary charge of tips NOT a compulsory charge of tips, the hotel has forced the customers to pay it as COMPULSORY CHARGE OF TIPS.
In addition, the hotel services were very inefficient and lot of rooms for improve. We ordered for an in-room meal and we were told that it would take about half an hour to deliver. Hence we waited, and until an hour later, there was no update on our meal and we had to make a call again to check for the progress of our meal. It was then we knew there was a delay in the meal. By the time we done with our meal, we made the call again to request for someone to collect the plates, we literally waited for more than an hour and had to call twice before someone came to pick up the plates.
This shouldnât have been the service received in a 5-star hotel and the worst of all, the hotel should have more transparency in their charges and should have informed the customers on the charges upfront before the actual charging. When we signed for the amount paid for the meal, there were no statement on the discussionary charge of tips at all, and we didnât expect there would be as we were not even informed.
It is not that we are unwilling to give the tips and we did give the tips during the stay. However, it made us very uncomfortable that we werenât informed anything upfront and it was charged to my credit card AFTER we CHECKED OUT of THE HOTEL. It made us feeling very unsafe to provide the credit card to the hotel as they can charge whatever charges they want after checking out the hotel. In addition, it is a discussionary charge, isnât it should be discussed before I was being charged? If not it should be called a a compulsory charge of tips.
GGuest UserThe hotel was centrally located. I enjoyed the leisure facilities. The staff in the bar and restaurant were lovely. However, the room decor was tired and the carpet was smelly. On the morning I was due to leave (check out was 12pm) I was trying to have a lie in and was woken by housekeeping trying to get into my room on 3 separate occasions between 8.30 and 9am. I would have thought that all rooms with guests due to check out would be cleaned after the guest had checked out and not while they were in bed? After all this, the TV came on with the welcome message, of its own accord, just after 9am, lighting up the room. So much for my lie in!!!
AAndy NooGreat location close to Kings cross /St pancreas Station and not far from attractions, its 2 hotels in 1 that is predominantly used as a transit hotel for overseas tourist on day trips. The hotel is clean, and you need a room key card for the lift to move and also to get to the corridors of your room so security is good.
Downsides are that outside noise enters easily due to the old metal windows and rooms a very warm, it can be noisy throughout the night as people arrive and leave at all times. We had a room with an interconnecting door that the people in the other room tried to open at 1.30 am when they first arrived , they were also incredibly noisey shouting once awake which was at 5am due to sightseeing trips with the noise coming through the doors really easily, so it disrupted our stay . The breakfast was very good with a good selection of full English and continental foods, which set you up for the day ahead. Would we use this hotel again ....possibly
GGuest UserHotel staff are very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is located perfectly for a visit to West Field shopping complex, 5 minutes walk away. The room we booked was the lowest priced available without breakfast included. It was clean and well presented as you expect for a Hilton. Tea and coffees provided as well as a fridge. The bathroom looked tired with heavy wear around the lower door and skirting given an appearance of shabbiness. That said it was clean. Also thankfully it wasnât cold outside ( just wet ) as the heating wasnât functioning.
Ttravelling loverconvenient location with walking distance to Shepherd Bushâs Mash station and Big shopping mall Westfield.
Impressive lobby deco and good reception service. However, it should be great if there is cleaner carpet and freezer facility in the room. The phone was not working to connect room service team and I had to visit the reception in person for service request .
KKelsieit was quite a grand hotel with many rooms on each floor. we were pleasantly surprised by the huge room too, after staying in 3 other hotels that were abt half the size of this room. there was a fridge too, which was a bonus! the coolest was the heating towel rack to keep the towels warm and also to dry them quickly. price was reasonable too at abt 270SGD per night. location was excellent- just 1 min walk from the exit of Gloucester Road Station on the piccadilly line. there is a 24h tesco opposite the stn and a waitrose just beside. there is a stretch of food chains along the road too. you can walk to South Kensington Stn, which will have other food options (like Philippe Conticini that sells the XXL croissant!). overall, it was a very comfortable stay :-)
GGuest UserStayed here a night before a departure from Heathrow T5. The location is excellent, easy to get to by road from the M25 and plenty of parking. The hotel on the outside looked a somewhat run down affair but internally, although it was a little bit tired in places, was certainly clean and comfortable. A good choice of food in the restaurant, served up fresh to order and a nice size bar area to relax in was a bonus. Breakfast was good value and set us up well for our travels. Access to T5 is by the automatic pod service (cost ÂŁ8.00) which is accessible from a collection point a few minutes walk (flat ie no steps or lifts) from the hotel, this is a 10min, extremely convenient ride straight to T5.
LLozzzzLocation perfect, service good, need to preauthorise a ÂŁ50 surcharge when you check in incase they need to charge you for damages, but you donât get that back until up to 14 days after you check out which is annoying - could be handled a different way.
Bed is the worst part of the place, itâs as hard as a rock, I wouldnât come back for that reason. Aside that, value is okay.
AAnonymous UserThe location is quite convenient. The room for 3 people (2 beds) is okay, not too small, and not too dirty. Shower room is a bit small but clean. There is a kitchen, microwave and sink. Overall Iâm good with this stay.
AAngelI am writing to provide feedback on our recent stay at your hotel. While the location was excellent, we found that the hotel itself was in need of some improvements.
Firstly, I would like to highlight the positive aspect of our stay, which was the great location of the hotel. It was conveniently situated near various attractions and amenities, allowing us to easily explore the area. This was definitely a major advantage during our visit.
However, we were disappointed with the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel. The rooms appeared to be in need of a deep cleansing, as there were noticeable stains on the carpets and walls. Additionally, the furniture and fixtures seemed worn out and outdated. A fresh coat of paint and new beds would greatly enhance the overall appearance and comfort of the rooms.
Furthermore, we found the lack of a welcoming lobby person to be quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we were not greeted or assisted by any staff members. This lack of hospitality made us feel unwelcome and left a negative impression.
In conclusion, while the location of the hotel was excellent, we believe that improvements are necessary to enhance the overall guest experience. A thorough cleaning, along with updates to the rooms and furniture, would greatly improve the comfort and aesthetics of the hotel. Additionally, having a friendly and welcoming lobby person would contribute to a more positive and enjoyable stay.
P.S. positive side- I truly appreciate the staff at the hotel who made the effort to move us to a more convenient floor. Additionally, it's always a pleasant experience when the breakfast lady is friendly and accommodating.
(No elevator/lift)
(I paid too much for 3nights so I was expecting a good place to relax after 27hours of travelling with a toddler).
