We loved Riu Adults only, the location was just perfect.
The only thing I did not like is women’s using the restroom without flip flops and then they go straight to the pool. A post should be posted on the front of the restroom

Food was good and plentiful, rooms were comfortable and spacious, pools were warm and fun, staff were kind and attentive, other guests were easygoing and friendly. Overall we had a blast and look forward to coming back again soon! Only wish they’d add a hot tub or two to the pool decks.

It had nice views and clean property but if you are not an elite member good luck . Room service is horrible selections the food has no taste at most restaurants and just getting a pair of slippers is hard they told me to upgrade for extra $300 a night to elite if I wanted slippers I would not recommend they only good part was being able to go to their other properties for outdoor events

Our stay was fantasic from start to finish. The resort and rooms are immaculate. Amazong views, Service was great. The bartenders at the sante fe pool parties we so my fun! Service was excellent. The buffet was actually delicious for resort food. Loved that we could hop across to sante fe if we wanted to party or just stay more mellow in our resort. So many option for day or night! Close to shopping/exploring the city and Medano beach was so much fun. I've stayed at other Rui properties and they definitely don't disappoint!

The cleaning staff did an outstanding job, the bartenders and wait staff for professional and polite. The night before a flight there was a party in the Rio next door that had our entire room thumping until 11:00 at night keeping us up late on the night we had to travel home. The front desk offered no help to resolve this issue. The food at the Mexican and Japanese restaurant was very good. The food at the steakhouse was terrible my salad bowl was broken my steak was so tough I could not eat it. The food at the Italian restaurant was not very good, the lamb chops were served well done when I asked for rare when I complained she brought me two more medium well on a saucer. The buffet was pretty good overall but often had cold food.

Rooms were very nice and clean, service was outstanding. Elite club is a must here for top shelf drinks. Proximity to the marina and city was excellent.
Food was sub par, even at the elite club. While the offerings were high end (steak and lobster) it seemed they were still mass produced and sitting under a heat lamp for extended periods. Never had a feeling that I was eating a freshly prepared meal.

Overall, I would give this Riu a 3.75/5. It’s a smaller sized resort, which I appreciated because I did not have to walk 15 minutes to get anywhere/everywhere, like mega resorts typically are. It’s about a 45 minute drive from the airport, but only a 15 minute drive from the downtown / marina area. Also a 15 minutes drive from the art walk! So I would say the location is solid. There is uber available in Cabo - you just have to walk a bit down before the gate to hop in.
The resort has direct access to the beach which is nice, they use towel cards & only allow for 1 towel which is a bummer. Views are fantastic. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and full stocked! You also get access to the 2 neighboring RIUs for parties, and other exploration if you choose to walk over.
The drinks were OK. The food was OK. And the staff were also OK. I have no major complaints at all, but of all the resorts I’ve been to, this one was nothing to write home about.

The property was beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful with any want and/or need. There was no need to leave the resort unless you wanted to. Highly recommended!!

We had a lovely stay. The restaurants at dinner were very good - the Italian one and Krystal in particular were favorites. The buffet had good and bad parts for our particular tastes. Staff was outstanding and very friendly! Pools were gorgeous.
