Many places in Madai have been polluted. It is still very good here. It is very hard to make the hotel into a work of art. All the furniture is the same weight as the jack, haha. It can only be said that it is the only hotel that wants to come back again. Come and live for a while to feel the real island life.

This was a return trip as we did not get enough of Alila Maldives the first time. Second trip is over and we want more! Truly magical experience, with a fantastic facility, friendly staff, large and fully equipped beach villa, beautiful people and great service. Sultan took care of all our needs without missing a beat. Swami from Eurodivers and his team were excellent as they took us private fishing and we caught our dinner, and also knew the tips and tricks to allow us to swim with turtles and a manta ray. The resort dining was top notch and even better than last time, and the boat to table experience and meeting the fishermen who provided the food for the massive buffet was a memorable experience. Yakatori Resturant was the unsung hero of the trip for us and a perfect dining location for lunch and dinner: not sure why it is not busier but we loved it and Chanaka went above and beyond. And finally Mirus Bar is the perfect place to unwind, chill, and listen to local DJ every evening: two thumbs up and thank you Sandeep for your energy and service. We are so coming back for a third visit.

The Resort also offers a plethora of activities and excursions, and we took full advantage of the water sports and snorkeling opportunities to explore the breathtaking coral reefs and encounter exotic marine species. Each adventure was expertly organized by the resort, ensuring our safety and enjoyment at all times. The culinary experiences at Emerald Faarufushi Resort were simply sensational. The resort's restaurants and bars offered a diverse range of delectable dishes, each prepared with the finest ingredients and presented with artistic flair. Beyond the exquisite dining experiences, the resort's attention to sustainability and environmental conservation added an extra layer of significance to our stay. Overall, this is heaven of heavens that I cannot recommend enough.

The hotel is new and very well decorated. Hotel food is also very diverse. The hotel will arrange a speedboat to connect domestic small planes to and from Male Airport, which can take about 40 people. Connections are handled by someone. Just returned from a 5 night stay at JB. Went there as one of our destinations for our 25th anniversary. Overall rating: 9/10   JB is an extremely beautiful place. Ultraluxury accommodation in a paradisiac environment. Architecture is stunning and fully integrated with local nature. Gardening is manicured, but at the same time respectful with endemic species. Decoration of common and private spaces is extremely tasteful, ample spaces everywhere that seem to have been designed with attention to every single detail.   Service is top-notch. From the people that deal directly with guests, to the large team in charge of keeping everything tidy. After an overnight trip from London, we were welcomed at the hotel lobby/port/marine airport, a stunning architectural design, by the hotel manager and several members of the team.   We were introduced to Razan, who was going to be our butler for the stay. Razan conducted himself with the right mix of professionalism and warming attitude. As with the rest of the operation, he was always on top of details, making sure we were happy and comfortable. Perfect butler that make our stay pleasant.   Service at common areas was again at an extremely high level. Beach and swiming-pool are very well attended. Bars and lunch area also very well served. Dinner service also really good. Reception at the restaurants was handled very professionally by several young woman, always with a welcoming smile. Waiters also super attentive at all times, to bring you anything you needed with a great attitude. Henry, in charge of this service team, came every single day to say hello and to spend a few minutes chatting with us and make sure everything was going well.   Food is at very high standard. Light salads nicely presented and tasteful. Meat and fish very well cooked. Menu is a mix of international cuisine with presence of Asian flavours and some local touch. JC, in charge of directing all cooking, also came to introduce himself and offered his help if we needed anything special. They do a very good job at the kitchens.   In terms of facilities, the overall theme of this resort is wellness, so as you can expect, SPA and GYM areas were at a super-high level. The SPA is one of the most gorgeous we have ever seen, a dream for instagramers, with a number of treatments to your taste. The Gym is absolutely first class, also in a large beautiful building, with several professionals and complimentary physical activities. Service in these facilities, again super pleasing and helpful.   At this ultra-luxury level of facilities and service, complaining of anything does not seem right, but let us address some areas to improve. ”Flow” is the name of the main restaurant, that is used both for breakfast and dinner; the transition of ambiances from day to night is very well thought-out, it feels like two different places, equally gorgeous. ”Mojo” is the alternative restaurant, that is next to the swimming pool, used for lunch, as all day bar, an

The trip and stay in Reethi Faru will remain unforgettable in our memories. There was nothing to complain about. We only booked breakfast, which turned out to be right for us. So we were able to eat in one of the restaurants on the island every evening. With full board or all inclusive, dinner would only have been possible in the main restaurant (buffet), or in one of the other restaurants only for an additional charge. The rooms are well maintained and cleaned properly. Coffee, tea and water are refilled daily in the room free of charge. Room service twice a day, which we didn't use because we put ”do not disturb” on the door after the morning cleaning. The staff are without exception courteous and helpful. We also spent a lot of time in the diving center (we got certified). The management of the diving center is under Swiss management and it is precisely this Swiss quality of reliability that is demonstrated.
