Exceptional hotel, brilliant value and run superbly by the most friendly and helpful management team. From the check in staff to the bar staff every single member of staff was courteous, helpful and charming. We spent a night in this B&B in August 2023, large rooms well furnished and very clean, excellent and varied breakfast, friendly and available owners, excellent internal parking, very nice also the interior garden. Great discovery and good support for visiting the area. We will surely return.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in a junior suite for three adults plus our puppy with a sea view and balcony. The staff are brilliant being very professional, engaging and highly efficient. The hotel is spotlessly clean, food is great including room service and there are loads of free extras including car parking, bikes, tennis etc. The beach is a short walk across one road and the area is quiet. We have had a fabulous time at this hotel and would strongly recommend it to all friends and family who want to visit Tuscany and experience something very special. The hotel has been totally renovated recently to an outstanding level. The room was ultra-comfortable and perfectly appointed – the most user-friendly room we have encountered. The décor of the room, and the marble bathroom, are worthy of featuring in Vogue. We had a great view from our small balcony looking towards the mountains one way and the sea the other. Windows are openable to get cross-breezes, but the air conditioning also works well. The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet area adjacent to the interesting historic centre of Carrara. The very welcoming and helpful staff recommended possible restaurants and booked for us at the one we chose that featured typical local gourmet dishes and excellent wines. They also provided great information about sightseeing and tours to the famous Carrara quarries (from which Michelangelo sourced his special white marble). The breakfast room on the roof (5th floor with large outdoor area) gives a great view of the city and surrounds, with an excellent breakfast. The combination of the wonderful staff and the high standard of the room, common guest spaces and location made us wish we were staying longer in Carrara.
