Great location on the ocean and near town, and a bunch of good amenities like seating areas and fire pits. Rooms are a little small, but well designed. We had an issue with service. Most of the staff were very nice, but a few were straight up rude, to the point where other staff apologized for them. We told the manager Stephen some observations and got a weird response. Half way through our stay they took away complimentary coffee in the morning and when I asked why, the manager said because it would be bad for business for their cafe. The restaurant was closed for some days and only open for certain meals on other days, we asked the staff abt its hours and got different answers from them, which was inconvenient because we were relying on it for food. I let the manager know and he said we should of checked the website, which was kind of missing the point. We also let him know the continental breakfast was lacking, as it was just chocolate chip cookies. His response was they couldn’t have breakfast food because of space constraints (?). Reminder to people that the restaurant is closed Tues/Wed, which means you can’t get any food or drink whatsoever at the hotel on those days. So overall good experience, but the service / hospitality was weird / poor enough that we won’t stay again or recommend it to friends.
