Premier Inn London Wimbledon South

Thank you to our hosts Judith, Sanna, and Jenny the chef and all the staff, our breakfast were delicious, the service top class. Could not do enough for us. Also the evening staff our evening dining experience, excellent. Our waiter who had been on reception during the day, very polite helpful. Our room was as expected in a Premier Inn. Could not fault it. Regards Mr and Mrs Templeman.

The buffet breakfast was lovely and the staff were excellent and very attentive , Judith was very approachable and nothing was to much trouble , and the chef Jenny made a point of coming over to see if we wanted anything else , would high recommend any one to use this hotel and our family will definitely be returning.

We loved this hotel. Location for all other areas easily accessible as close to two tube stations. Parking was stress free and car was onsite and safe. Breakfast and dinner were amazing also.. All staff were lovely and couldn’t help us enough. Lastly a special thank you to Judith and Sanna who were amazing. Also the chef Jennie deserves a special mention for her efforts. Will definately return here and couldn’t recommend enough.

The hotel is a basic hotel and I chose it for the position (close to where I need to work). The main problems where pest activity in the room (carpet flying), the lack of cleaning attention, the need to request the room cleaning from the day after and the constant broken coffe machine during the breakfast. This is not the right star classification. I would say not more than 2 star hotel (with a big doubt about the pest problem)

The hotel in general is reasonable, our room was comfortable and had what we needed. Security was a little lax, you could walk into the lift lobby from the car park area and gain access to the lift, there were room card readers on the doors but some were not working. There did not seem to be a staff presence in the hotel, I got the impression that costs had been cut to the bone, not what I was expecting given their TV advertising. The breakfast in their restaurant was disappointing, the cooked food was cold, the toasters not fit for purpose (it took over 3 minutes to mildly singe the bread) and it was more like a children's playground than a restaurant, the children were handling all the food and returning it to the presentation plates when they decided they wanted something different, one child had a raging cough - I hate to think what germs were passed on to other guests! In short, no managerial control, no polite challenge was made to the children's parents to correct their behaviour. I usually stay in a Holiday Inn if we are looking for a one or two night stay & there is one in the area we are visiting, the Premier Inn is slightly more expensive so I was disappointed when it did not come up to our expectations.

Nice hotel, good car parking and nice room with all the facilities you need for an overnight stay. Dinner is good with a good choice and the breakfast is also very nice. Judith the host was lovely and the cooked breakfast by Luminita, who came and said "Hi" was lovely. Overall, a nice stay.

TV remote didn't worked. Went to reception 4 times, batteries replaced, remote itself replaced, but yet it didn't worked. Room is not clean. Floor is not clean. Restaurant is not clean. Reception is not properly maintained. Bathroom was smelling bad. Aerator not working. I went to reception 3 times to get the AC sorted. AC was not blowing cool air, it was just blowing air as a fan. Room was not getting cool. The refrigerant might have leaked out of the AC unit. I complained at reception and they said will loo into this. No one responded later. My family suffered a lot during the night and kids were not able to sleep well. It was not at all a pleasant experience, my wife was so disappointed. She was not happy with me for bringing the family to this hotel. Let me be very honest with you. This hotel is certainly not to the Premier Inn standard. I have stayed at so many other Premier Inn's and compared to other branches, this is the worst worst worst branch.

Cons: For what you pay, the hotel is dated and needs a fresh update. The corridor and room carpet smells the age; buy you get used to it after a while. Besides, there are no premier plus rooms. Pros: The staff are very friendly and helpful. Judith is a kind, considerate and an excellent host. She greeted us very courteously with a beaming smile everyday at the breakfast restaurant. You can't fault anything she does.

The main thing that makes this hotel is the lovely Judith In the restaurant , what a pleasure to be around someone who has a smile and a bit if conversation for you, it's the main reason we stay here Hotel itself is a little tired now I think, we were on the fifth floor not a good view but the room was clean which is all you can ask for paid for early check in which was extra only waited around 30 mins for that to be sorted even though we had arranged in advance girl at the desk said someone hadn't left the room we were meant to be in ??? Don't ever loose Judith Premier Inn
