Best Hotels in Mount Pleasant, United States

Everyone was rude except for the housekeepers, which were over the top nice and are very hard workers. The manager of the building doesn't know their names because she said ”They don't speak English”. She didn't smile, welcome me or say anything until it came time to check out where she asked me to leave a glowing review for (her), including her name which was Von. Being on vacation I was in a good mood, the city has some pretty areas yet when it came time to check in, I was met with a cold attitude and like I was a pain to deal with and all we did was stay in our room and then check out. We didn't have any extra requests or anything. There were extra fees for things we never did use... The pool wasn't particularly warm and everyone can see you since it's in the front, the restaurant and bar were closed and I would say overall it is very basic. My mom wasn't thrilled with any part of it but I thought the room was super clean and had your basics which I appreciated. The music in the lobby was loud and really annoying and the music in the pool area was loud too but I just put in earplugs so it was okay. :) I'm pretty easy going and honestly don't leave reviews often but I was put off by the manager and staff. I wouldn't recommend it.

I have stayed in downtown Charleston, West Ashley, & Mt.Pleasant many many times over the years and I finally decided to give the Indigo à try for a long 4 day weekend. From the time I arrived plenty of onsite parking, the bell hop whisked my luggage inside with a big smile and warm welcome....well that was just the start!! Everyone at the front desk smiling and welcoming the guests...the process was so fast and effortless and quick to point out complimentary coffees, water(still &sparkling) 24 hours. The the room was amazing. The whole hotel was clean &I felt like I was on a tropical resort. Poolside there is an indoor/outdoor bar with wonderful bartenders and the fried green tomatoes are a must try!! The made to order breakfast and staff were again on point in every level of service and we tried shrimp& grits, crab cake Benedict, omelette to orde, best bacon, I could continue but everything we ate was so hot& delicious. Then of course if you want to sightsee downtown or head out to any of the beaches or Islands it's a turn out the parking lot onto Hwy 17 and they are all within a 10 min drive This will be my new go to hotel toall my friends, family,& business associates!! ENJOY!!

The hotel was clean, breakfast was not good. Everything else was as expected.

We arrived early (hours before check-in) at our hotel. Front desk employee Khadijah was our friendly contact who helped to check us in and place our luggage behind the desk while we awaited our room. She suggested local areas we can review via walking which included the pier. When we returned from our walking excursion, Khadijah asked if we were ok with a top floor and completed our room checking-in. We asked for additional bath towels and she was able to provide them immediately. It was less than ideal to walk in the hallway towards our room to see dirty linens in the hallway for multiple rooms. We had 2 queen beds with extra space which was helpful for our suitcases. Everything in our room was clean and refreshed. When walking throughout the hotel, the staff was always friendly and accommodating.

Had a wonderful time, stayed at the Harbor Marina, for the most part everything was excellent. My only complaint is that our room was not refreshed and had to ask the front desk to make sure it was done, also a puddle in room from AC, but once reported it was immediately fixed. The Fish House just incredible, $1 oysters on Tuesday! The Scallops and risotto out of this world and cornbread in a skillet best I have ever had! And loved Johnny at the Bridge Bar, super friendly, nice, fun and great great service. Great drinks and just great atmosphere. One suggestion would be nice to have 1 early time daily for shuttle not having a shuttle until 2pm everyday had to take water taxi everyday, just a thought! Can't wait to come back and stay at the Beach club!

We spent 3 nights here after spending 3 nights at the Red Roof Inn in Myrtle Beach. The one in Myrtle Beach is a 5 star resort compared to this one. Our room in Myrtle Beach was almost double the size of the one in Mt. Pleasant, and it was almost half the price (we were in Mt. Pleasant during the week not on a weekend). When we checked in, the young man at the front desk was surly at best, it appeared that he didn't want to be there. There were tree trimming contractors staying there (they cut trees for the power companies) and they started their big bucket trucks up every morning at dawn. So even if you wanted to sleep past dawn you couldn't. The Red Roof Inn in Myrtle Beach was 4 stories with inside access to the rooms, a spacious lobby, nice pool area and nice grounds. Contrast that to this Red Roof Inn which is more typical of one that you would see off the interstate where you're just looking for a place to sleep for the night. But it's in an upscale area, so I don't know why it's not a better hotel. It needs updating, and the grounds aren't the cleanest. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is because of it's location and because of the front desk clerk Becky, who is personable and helpful. I would go back to Mt. Pleasant in a heartbeat but would look for somewhere else to stay.

Marilyn, at the front desk, is a Rock Star!! My wife and I, along with our two children, arrived at the hotel after a 6 hour drive, ready to get to our room and find some dinner. While checking in it became apparent that I had accidentally made our reservations for a different day (totally my fault). I used a 3rd party to make the reservations and to say that I was having a great deal of difficulty speaking with them about changing our reservation is a huge understatement. Marilyn took it upon herself to contact the 3rd party and simply would not take no as an answer with regards to changing our reservation. She got the reservation changed and made sure we had the room we needed for our stay. Marilyn went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and happy and would check with us every time she saw us during our stay. She remembered our names and was genuinely vested in my family enjoying our stay. Without her assistance and concern our vacation would have started off much differently. The rest of the front desk staff were great, as well, during our stay. We enjoyed the hotel and really liked the family atmosphere that the hotel lobby had during our entire 4 night stay. Every night there were families, in the lobby, eating, playing games, or just hanging out. My family enjoyed our nightly visit to the pool table and took advantage of some of the free board games. They also have a small seating area outside as well as seating at the pool. The hotel offered a daily breakfast which my family found to be more than adequate for our needs. It was nice to save money on breakfast and spend it on other adventures. The rooms might be a little on the smaller side but were nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Throughout our visit the staff was ready to help us anytime we needed something. The pool was not the biggest but we didn’t pick the hotel for the pool. We found it served our needs and after spending all day sightseeing, in some considerable July heat, it was nice to cool off in the pool , every night, and just unwind. The hotel had a sign, near the elevators, listing local favorite restaurants, shopping, bars, attractions, etc. that we found very helpful. The hotel was very convenient to everything we wanted to visit but just far enough away from the more tourist areas to save some money. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again as well as recommend the hotel to others. We had a great experience and look forward to going back.

Love this hotel, it was very hip and edgy. The location is a little bit outside of central downtown and the surroundings are a bit run down but I think they are working on it. I love the aesthetics of the hotel!

The room was clean as expected. The fact that they no longer clean and replace the towels daily was great to us. But for the price we paid we had the worst breakfast. I realize there is no kitchen in this facility and all they are capable of serving is pre made food that is reheated. However they have control over the quality of products. The worst eggs, not enough fruit for all the guests, the sausage and potatoes were also just warm. We have been staying at this hotel for twenty years since the family circle tennis which now is Credit one tennis was moved here. This will absolutely be our last stay.
