Hampton Inn Manhattan Grand Central Reviews

We came to NY to celebrate my birthday and the staff surprised us and decorated the room with balloons and soda and snacks and towels folded like elefants. It was awesome!

Limited breakfast options. The location is fine, but there’s nowhere for water refills unless you go all the long way to downstairs. Should have been a water refill station for each floor.  Two bottles of water were far from being sufficient. 

All employees are very friendly, which is a great experience The location is very good, and it is very convenient to go to the scenic spots Comfortable oversized bed, no bathtub I will probably choose here next time.

I’ve been returning to this immaculate Hampton inn location again and again over the years and it seems to both maintain its original look and feel while still being fresh, modern, and easily accessible , a short block from Grand Central. Great Hotel with Cheerful and Warm Staff. Spacious room, delicious and varied breakfast each morning, quiet neighborhood. The front desk staff (especially Victoria) were attentive and engaged - it felt like a friendly apar**ent building. Would definitely stay again.

It wasn’t that bad. It was the only hotel that has 2 double beds.

The front desk host was very friendly and kind. Pointed out where to go for the complimentary breakfast and the fitness center. Chatted about my trip. Overall would stay here again. Great hotel at a great price.

The price is OK. The room is a bit small. The location is good. It is next to the train station and the United Nations headquarters.

This hotel is not big, but compared to other "high-end" hotels I stayed in in New York, it has a lot of practical services. It is also affordable and suitable for Chinese people's living habits. 1. Hygienic breakfast: Although it is decorated at the entrance, the hygiene is okay. The breakfast basically meets the tastes of more than half of Chinese people. There are about 20-30 kinds of things to eat. 2. Service attitude: It is commendable that the hotel's service from the security guard to the front desk to the cleaning aunt is very good. I arrived at 1:30 in the middle of the night and it was already closed. The security guard was very kind and quickly called the front desk staff to check in. The handsome guy at the front desk was also very nice. Tell me where breakfast is and how to get there. It was much better than the cool goddess at the front desk of the high-end hotel where I later stayed for 2-3 times the price. 3. Hotel facilities: The hotel has a kettle for boiling water, so you don’t need to apply separately for one. This is better than some high-end hotels and is suitable for Chinese people's habit of drinking hot water. In addition, there is a business center on the basement floor, where you can print documents for free, which is so convenient. 4. Safety: My child's mobile phone was lost at the front desk twice in the past two days, but it was recovered by Shijin Bumo. Thank you very much. 5. Transportation: It takes more than 10 minutes to walk to the Central Railway Station. The two major American car rental companies are 30 meters to the right next door. It is really convenient to book a rental car with Ctrip in advance and drive away. In addition, it is only 1-2 blocks away from the United Nations Headquarters, which takes more than 10 minutes to walk. In short, although the hotel is not big or luxurious, it has human warmth for foreigners, and sometimes the prices are very affordable. I think it is very practical to provide accommodation that does not require redundant facilities and services such as swimming, and does not require high-rise apar**ents.

The transportation is convenient. It takes 15 minutes to walk to Times Square and 10 minutes to Fifth Avenue. It is very convenient for shopping and eating. Breakfast is available from 6️⃣ o'clock to 10 o'clock. If the fruit is missing, the waiter will make up for it immediately. It is very good.

0 points for Ctrip! I made a hotel reservation 6 months in advance and modified the reservation. When I checked in, the hotel had no check-in information! ! ! Made me wait for 1 hour! ! The hotel is quite satisfactory. It cost 2,800 a night for a 3-star hotel. The Hilton/Westin next to it only cost 2,400 a night.... Not recommended.
