New Hotels in Tokyo

"I had a great overall experience staying at the Park Royal Hotel Maihama Resort Tokyo Bay for my Disney trip. (I initially considered the Hilton, but decided against it when rooms became available later, as three nights would have cost over 500 more in taxes, so I settled on this one.) The hotel is relatively new, so the facilities are clean and modern, and the pricing is reasonable. The triple room I booked was comfortable, and one of the beds was convenient for organizing my belongings. The lobby features a charming wooden decor, creating an elegant and pleasant atmosphere. The hotel provides an exclusive shuttle bus service to and from Maihama Station and both Disney parks, making it easy to get to and from the theme parks. However, it's worth noting that this hotel is not an official Disney partner hotel, so the shuttle convenience isn't on par with the Hilton. The shuttle drop-off point isn't in the core park area, and if the shuttle is full and you can't board, you'll have to take a taxi back. The triple room was spacious and included a microwave, which was very useful for heating food. The front desk staff were friendly and the luggage storage process was smooth. The only drawback is that the hotel doesn't offer bellhop service to deliver luggage to your room after check-in, a convenience many other hotels provide. There's a large Lawson convenience store on the first floor of the hotel, which is super convenient for grabbing snacks and daily necessities at night. The shuttle bus has operational gaps, so sometimes I had to take a taxi to and from Maihama Station. The shuttle route goes to Disney Land first, then Disney Sea. On several occasions when returning from the parks, I couldn't easily find the pickup point and had to take a taxi back. If I stay here again, I'll need to meticulously check the shuttle schedule and stop locations in advance to plan my transportation. As an added bonus, I requested a room near the elevator, on a high floor, with a view of DisneySea, and the hotel was able to accommodate my request perfectly."

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It's a bit far from the subway, about a 20-minute walk, but the nearby bus stops are very convenient and can get you anywhere. For Japan, the rooms are quite spacious, clean, and fresh 😍. The front desk staff are polite and always ready to help 🤲🏻. You can do laundry, but there wasn't a dryer, which was the only downside 🥲."

"Had a great stay at YOTEL. Extremely safe for solo female traveller. Rooms were slightly bigger than typical hotel rooms in Tokyo. Incredible clean. Equipped with iron, ironing board and hair dryer. Separate shower and WC. Purified water dispenser is also a lovely plus in addition to the water bottles supplied with every clean. Fabulous location - short 5 min walking distance to the heart of Ginza whilst maintaining quietness for restful sleep. Walking distance to Shimbashi station, Family Mart around the corner and 2 Don Quixotes. About 7-10 minutes walk to Ginza station (Ginza line) which is very accessible to other neighbourhoods (Omotesando, Ebisu, Roppongi). Lots of food and coffee options minutes away. Would 100% stay again!"

"The lady at the front desk was very friendly and spoke excellent English, making communication easy. She even offered us a complimentary upgrade to a larger room when one was available, which we really appreciated! Although there's a fire station across the street, we only heard the siren once during our two-night stay. It seems the fire department makes an effort to minimize noise and turns off their sirens on the way back. Downstairs, there are pharmacies, convenience stores, and kimono shops, which is incredibly convenient. Breakfast wasn't included, just a self-service drink bar, but it was easy and fine to grab breakfast out on the street. Overall, it was clean, but there was some dust on the window sills, in the wardrobe, and between the two beds that could be improved. Our child loved it and said they want to stay here again next time."

"Wonderful experience. It is a well designed room in modern art style. Perfect location at the very heart of Minato city, easy transportation if you don’t mind of 10 min casual walk in the city. You can easily get access with a 15 min walk toward Shiba-Koen park where there’s a huge grassland and allows people to walk on. Doing yoga with Tokyo Tower in sight is splendid."

"Although the sparrow is small and complete, the bathroom is large, the bed is small, suitable for girls to travel, in such a small room, there can be a small table for three people to sit on, it can be said that it is like a residential change program, showing the essence of Japanese interior design. From the station, you need to go downstairs and cross the road, walking to Daiguan Mountain, very convenient. When I checked in, the front desk was very enthusiastic to inform the toiletries to pick up by yourself. Free ice cream in the freezer. In short, everything is very Tokyo. If I come to Tokyo next time, I will choose to live here."

"This is a new hotel, perfect for families with two children. The room is spacious for Tokyo standards, clean, well-maintained, and tidy. The water pressure is excellent, and the toilet is spotless. It has that new-house smell, with hints of wood and cleanliness. The room is cleaned every three days. You can leave your trash by the door, and it's picked up immediately. The location is superb; it's about a 10-minute walk to the main shops in Ginza, and there are stores nearby, including a place with delicious Japanese cheesecakes. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but there's a Japanese Tully's coffee chain nearby with sandwiches, waffles, and more. There are metro entrances all around. The staff is welcoming. If we go back to Japan, we'll definitely stay here again."

"This was my first time staying in Tokyo, and I was a bit nervous since I'd only ever seen Shinbashi on TV. But the staff were really kind and even took my luggage up to my room for me, which was great. The only downside was the shower pressure, which was surprisingly weak. That was the only negative point. If I get the chance, I'd definitely like to stay here again."

"From what I remember, it's about a 5-minute walk to the nearest subway station and a 10-minute walk to the JR station. The front desk staff were very polite and explained the check-in process in great detail. The hotel was clean and tidy, and there was a washing machine right in the room, which was super convenient."
