Nine Hours Kita-Shinjuku is a sleep-tech hotel that perfectly balances urban convenience with a relaxing environment. Located just a 2-minute walk from Shin-Okubo Station with easy access to Shinjuku Station, it offers an optimal location for downtown sightseeing and business trips that require frequent travel. The capsule units in the facility are equipped with the "9h sleep checkup" system, which measures your sleep quality during your stay. It smartly supports the health and condition management of busy business professionals. Furthermore, in collaboration with the Medical AI Center and the Institute of Oriental Medicine at Tokyo Women's Medical University, we have established a "University Collaboration Space." Focusing on sleep, health, and insights from Oriental medicine, this space aims to serve as a hub for research, verification, and service development. We have created an environment where guests can track their physical condition and health metrics using advanced measurement devices, such as body composition analyzers (InBody) and automatic blood pressure monitors (Omron). In addition to overnight stays, we also accommodate short naps and shower-only use. Whether you need a quick refresh between journeys or a focused base for a business trip, our facilities can be flexibly utilized to suit your purposes. Experience high-quality time combining tranquility and functionality at Kita-Shinjuku.

"Since it's a capsule hotel, it's expected to hear noise from the surroundings, but there was someone being noisy in the morning... It was good that the showers and restrooms weren't crowded."

"I had a comfortable and safe stay all week! I'd definitely want to stay at this hotel again next time I'm in Tokyo for an extended period. It's also conveniently located near a subway station, making it easy to get to Ginza with just a short walk. It was a bit small for opening two large suitcases, but it was still great!"

"There are two stations, Keisei Ueno and Keisei Ueno Minami, and I got them confused, but they were within walking distance and I was able to check in without any problems. It's a small hotel, so I often ended up sharing the elevator with men when coming back from the public bath. Breakfast was included, but the Japanese restaurant also serves Western food. I couldn't eat fried food in the morning, so I left more than half of it. I'm sorry."

"Overall, the unit was clean and well-maintained. However, I would like to point out a few areas that could be improved. * There were a few breadcrumbs left inside the oven toaster, indicating that it had not been thoroughly cleaned. * Some of the washed dishes were placed on the shelf while they were still wet, which caused a few plates to become dirty again. * It would be helpful to provide a kitchen towel or paper towels in the kitchen so that guests can easily dry washed dishes and wipe down wet countertops after use. Addressing these minor issues would make the overall stay even more comfortable and enjoyable."

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They also offer free self-service disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste. Hot water is available on the first floor. The hotel is located in a residential area, so it's very quiet, and there are many convenience stores nearby. It's quite convenient for getting around Asakusa."
