Hotels Near Kitahama Retro Building in Osaka

Hotel Keihan Tenmabashi Ekimae offered a phenomenal experience. Its proximity to Tenmabashi Station, Osaka Castle, and the Osaka Museum of History gives access to a wealth of entertainment and food. The hotel itself had friendly staff that seemed to try to assist in English if ever someone did not seem fluent in Japanese and the self-check-in kiosks at the front also supported four languages: Japanese, English, Korean, and Chinese. The room itself was phenomenal, being one of the most spacious I have seen in Japan. What impressed me most, however, had to be the washroom. It was not only incredibly clean, but also the most spacious I have seen to date in Japan. The room also came with a complementary carton mineral water which I thought was quite nice for quality of life. The television is also well equipped information and entertainment and even lets one share their phone screen onto the television. There is also a convenient panel next to the bed that has various functions from controlling the air conditioning and lighting to notifying the staff whether one wants their room cleaned or not. The breakfast they offer, served buffet-style was comprised of various offerings reflecting Japanese, Chinese, and ”Western” culture. While the offerings were satisfactory, I also felt that they may have spread themselves to thin with the variety of the offerings and thus the quality of the individual items suffered from it. In addition, the meal felt like it only partially captured the spirit of each tradition it drew from and ultimately lead to the overall experience being a confused motley of flavours. Overall, while I only stayed for a single day, this was one of the better hotel experiences I have had in Japan.

Location is about a 10 minute walk to the nearest station. Amendities are sufficient and the environment is clean. There are vending machines and a washing machine on the lower floors. Its a nice place to stay for solo travellers and is relatively near to dotonburi area. There are also multiple convenience stores in the area.

The triple room assigned was larger than expected, with ample space area for the luggage and even included a seating area. Very impressive and walking distance from metro. The room was clean too, stayed for 4 nights, able to request simple cleaning daily as well. Overall, it was a great experience.

We got a great deal with Trip and stayed on the Club floor for 2 nights. The hotel entrance was a bit hard to find when you are walking through the mall. Checked in at the Club floor and it was very efficient. Room was very spacious and very clean. Club floor experience was excellent with breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. We had particularly good experience with the afternoon cocktails as they made lots of different ones for us that was not the standard menu.

The concierge staff is good at translating and very friendly when I arrived at the hotel in my first day. Though the hotel is a bit far from the metro station, the friendly service of the greeting staff compensates that. The nearest station is Daikokucho station, which need a 5-minute walk to reach the hotel.

This was our first of three accommodations on our trip to Japan, and it turned out to be the coolest: the newest, most spacious and comfortable. Comfortable bed, necessary furniture and equipment. Shower with clothes dryer and separate toilet! Great location, we were happy: we chose it so that it was close to the train from the airport. Nearby are all kinds of subways, Dotonbori Street and the zoo. We would come back again, and we recommend these apartments to everyone.

A very unbelievable self-service hotel 1. I arrived in Osaka from Nara before 11 o'clock in the morning, but I was told that the password of the self-service hotel would not be sent to my email until after 12 o'clock 2. The hotel suggested that I could store my luggage in the coin locker on the first floor, but I couldn't enter the lobby without the password 3. When a guest came out, I went in and found that a large locker required 8 100-yuan coins, eight! Not 100-yuan coins! Who would keep so many on hand! 4. I quickly went to the vending machine to buy two bottles of water and exchanged them for 8 coins. As a result, I found that one locker could not fit two suitcases, so I threw the other luggage next to the luggage locker in a rage.

🇹🇭This is my first time booking an apartment. It took me quite a while to check before I booked, but I have to thank the trip's review for making my decision easier. Looking at the distance from the Guniko sign, it's not that far, about 1 station to Namba station. Traveling is very convenient. Walk out about 200 meters and you'll reach the train station, or you can walk to the name card station, about 1.5 kilometers. The facilities in the room are very complete. The room is very big and can sleep 8 people. But this time, there were only 3 of us, so the room was very spacious. There is a kitchen for cooking, a refrigerator, a washing machine with detergent, toothbrushes, and a separate bathroom. Let's just say that I was very impressed with this place. If I have a chance, I will go back again. I feel that it is worth the money. Nothing is missing. Oh, there is one thing that I would like to have a clothesline because you have a washing machine but we don't have one to hang clothes when we do laundry. The clothes are not exposed to the sun and will be damp. It will smell. The Wi-Fi is very good. It is very strong. There is no lag. You can watch TV and YouTube all day. I stayed here for 3 nights. I felt like going out for just one day. On the 2nd day, I wanted to sleep like an ***** in this room. The bed is soft. The pillows are good. I am happy with Osaka for 4 days. The building is still new. It looks like it was just built. On Google, the picture may be an old picture, so it is hard to understand because when I first arrived, there was a white building a little further away. So I went to look at the white building. It turned out that it was not. But the admin who took care of it replied to the chat a lot. So I found out that it was a black building next door. If anyone is worried that it will be difficult to stay, I can tell you that it is very easy. I am a stupid person. I can still stay here. If anyone has the chance, I recommend this place. I can tell you that for me, I will come back again. I feel bored with hotels because the hotel room is small. When I go, I don't talk to my friends. But here, we are together. Spacious apartment in a clean and safe neighborhood. Direct train to and from kansei airport makes it a strong plus. Lack of front desk support deducted a star but overall communication with staff on site plus WeChat are satisfactory. Be ware of mosquitos around. Would be good if repellent are provided inside the room.
