Hotel Sinharagama Resort and Spa

We spontaneously found the hotel on December 17th, 2021 on the way back from the Wildpattu National Park. The first thing we noticed was the very well-kept restaurant. We then inspected the rooms. The rooms are quite large and have a good standard. The bathroom is large and the functionality is "Sri Lanka-like", which means that the fittings do not work perfectly. In the restaurant, we and our driver were served a very good dinner and morning meal. The chef "Mister Chathuranga" has international professional experience, which you can see in the good quality and the beautiful presentation of the dishes. The willingness to help was great when the driver noticed that one of the vehicle's tires was out of air. Spontaneously someone drove to the nearest garage to repair the damage there. The management was courteous and friendly. Conclusion: A hotel that I can recommend. The price-performance ratio was good.

Stayed two nights at this place on fb basis. Convenient location between Anuradhapura and Wilpaththu national park as we wanted to visit both places from one place. About 15 mins drive to Wilpaththu entrance and 20 mins drive to Anuradhapura. Although there was no buffet or there were not many options to select from, the Sri Lankan food they served was very good. Well invested place with spacious rooms and outdoor. The packages were reasonably priced. I do not want to complain about the staff or the management during this difficult time for tourism amidst covid 19, as they did best as they could, in the current situation.
