bluehawkThe hotel sits on Central Road, within walking distance to St Andrew’s Cathedral, Old Hill Street Police Station along this sightseeing route, Merlion Park and the F1 Marina Bay Street Circuit. Marina Bay Sands and the Flower Dome are around a 10-minute drive away.
Right next to the hotel is a shopping mall with plenty of dining options, making shopping and meals extremely convenient. Visa cards are widely accepted here.
It is a boutique classic hotel. Though compact in size, it features exquisite design, and the guest rooms follow the same aesthetic.
The hotel staff demonstrate high professionalism; they are observant and proactive to identify and attend to guests’ needs promptly.
There are two drawbacks to note. First, the toilet and shower area are not separated, so two people cannot use the bathroom simultaneously. Second, there is no clothesline in the bathroom, which is inconvenient for guests staying for an extended period.

Shangri-La, my absolute favorite! Even with all the talk on Xiaohongshu about various inconveniences, I still chose this hotel in the end. Having stayed at Shangri-La hotels in three or four different cities, from north to south, and from China to Singapore, a sense of familiarity and trust has quietly built up.
First off, the garden is absolutely beautiful. After breakfast, or in the evening, wandering through the corners of this hotel, you feel completely relaxed. People say the location isn't ideal for getting around, but compared to hotels with 'good' locations where you step out right onto a busy road and the rooms are cramped, the true meaning of a vacation is perfectly embodied here. So what if there's a small slope? With all the flowers and plants by the roadside, playful dogs and children, and leisurely people, all the travel anxieties and rushing simply disappear. With such a beautiful courtyard, there's no need to even leave; you're already amidst nature. My ten-year-old sister was busy all day, swimming, at the playground, and running around in the garden... It's truly beautiful, and I'm not just talking about the lobby that's only good for photo ops!
Secondly, breakfast is excellent! Singapore, a culinary desert, is like a puzzle missing its ornate edges. Choosing to have breakfast included this time was a smart move; I practically relied on this one meal for the day. It was very rich and satisfying, and after eating, I was full of energy to head out to explore every corner of the city. Excellent!
I'll definitely be back next time!

vivianIt was a very pleasant trip. I've always had a good impression of Conrad, and my stays at several of their hotels in China have been excellent, so I chose Conrad again for my trip to Singapore. It didn't disappoint. Although the facilities aren't as new as those in China, the cleanliness was impeccable, and the service was absolutely satisfying. It was my child's birthday this month, and the front desk thoughtfully prepared a little card and a small cake, which was a really warm gesture. I will definitely choose to stay at Conrad again on my next visit to Singapore!

DiscovererWe stayed at this hotel in July 2026. From Changi Airport, we took the MRT. After clearing customs, you need to follow the signs for 'Train to city' or 'MRT'. On the way, buy an Ez-link card at one of the tourist kiosks. We were offered an unlimited pass for $40, but we declined and bought top-up cards for $10 each, valid for our transit period in Singapore. From Singapore Airport to the city center, you first need to travel two stops to Tanah Merah station, alight at platform B, and then board a train marked 'to city' from the same platform. This is on the Green Line. Get off at Raffles Place station. Then, go up the stairs or take the elevator, and once upstairs, look for Exit D or E. Exit D is closer and more convenient for the hotel, but it goes through a shopping mall which might be closed in the evenings or on weekends. From either exit, turn right and walk along the main road without turning off. The main entrance of the building where the hotel is located leads to the CapitaSpring business center. You don't need to enter there; instead, walk a few meters past the main entrance on the right side, towards the taxi stand, where you'll find the hotel entrance. From there, you need to go up to the 9th floor, where the reception is. The hotel has three elevators: one for the reception from the 1st to the 9th floor, which is accessible to everyone. The second elevator goes from the 9th to the 17th floor and can only be used with a room key card. This elevator leads to the guest rooms. The third elevator is on the 17th floor in the garden and leads to the 51st floor observation deck, which is only open on weekdays until 6 PM.
Water dispensers are located opposite the elevators on each floor. To use the elevator to the rooms, you need to tap your key card and select your floor on the panel; the panel will then indicate which of the three elevators (by a letter designation) will arrive. The staff were polite. There was no deposit required upon check-in, but they asked for a credit card number for registration. The rooms are clean, cozy, and have a good view. The renovation is fresh. The curtains are practically blackout, providing excellent darkening. However, there's a green sensor light on the ceiling in the room's hallway that seems quite bright at night, like a nightlight. This didn't bother us, but if you want to sleep in complete darkness, you won't be able to without a sleep mask. The soundproofing in the rooms is good; we couldn't hear our neighbors. The room has everything necessary, including a refrigerator, an ironing board, and an iron. There's also a safe, a capsule coffee machine, tea and coffee making facilities, and even soft hangers in the wardrobe. The pillows felt uncomfortable to me, but that's probably the only drawback. The room was cleaned daily; trash was emptied, and towels were changed. The Wi-Fi was good. Overall, we liked the hotel, including its central location.

けんちゃんマンTo be honest, beyond the hotel's cleanliness and unique aesthetic, my impression wasn't overwhelmingly positive.
If you're looking to enjoy nature, it's a wonderful hotel. However, the service and hospitality, which you'd expect from a luxury hotel, were merely average, and I didn't feel any particular sense of hospitality.
Breakfast was extremely crowded and felt chaotic due to the vast space. At certain times, it was impossible to find a seat.
The infinity pool was also smaller than I expected, and the wow factor was just so-so.
The fact that you can experience nature in Singapore is fantastic, so from that perspective, I suppose it's a valid choice. However, I wouldn't return.

We stayed for 3 nights in a quad room (two rooms with one shared entrance), but the front desk upgraded us to a 6-person room for free. It had four separate rooms, so we each had our own space and slept very comfortably. However, the bathroom sink being outside the actual bathroom was a bit inconvenient. A hairdryer was provided and worked well enough.
Breakfast was available every day, even on weekends, but the selection was extremely limited. If you went early, getting food was smooth, but if you arrived too late, there was a long queue, which was very time-consuming. We only ate breakfast on the first day; we thought about a second round, but seeing the long line, we decided against it. From the second day onwards, we just went downstairs to Ya Kun Kaya Toast and Toast Box.
There are no longer water dispensers on each floor; you need to go to the front desk to refill water. Laundry and dryer facilities are available for 8 SGD each. Although expensive, it was very convenient.
Downstairs, there are restaurants and a supermarket. The location is excellent, close to Fort Canning Park, Clarke Quay, the Old Hill Street Police Station, and Chijmes. Overall, it was a great experience. It would be perfect if they could improve the breakfast environment and flow.

I had a wonderful stay at Pullman Singapore Orchard. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the heart of Orchard Road, making it very convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring Singapore. The room was modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, keeping everything fresh and tidy. What impressed me the most was the outstanding service. Every staff member I met was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. They always greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The breakfast offered a great variety of delicious food, with both Asian and Western options. The quality and freshness of the food were excellent. The hotel’s facilities, including the swimming pool and gym, were also well maintained and enjoyable.

Guest UserIf you're looking for a hotel with great value for money in downtown Singapore, this is the one to book without hesitation. I was traveling to Singapore with my child for a competition, and I spent a lot of time agonizing over which hotel to choose, feeling quite anxious after reading many reviews. We arrived at the hotel at 3 AM. The lobby is on the third floor, and from the moment we met the reception staff on the first floor, we had a wonderful experience. It's true that check-in at the front desk was a bit slow, but the Indian lady there had a translation app ready and communicated patiently with us. She wasn't impatient despite our limited English, so the slight delay was understandable. The room size exceeded my expectations, it was clean, and the facilities were great. The cleaning staff also spoke excellent Mandarin. The pool was comfortable, and the water was very clean – my child absolutely loved it. It's only 200 meters from City Hall MRT station, and the surrounding commercial area is very lively. Funan Mall is just 200 meters away, offering a wide variety of food, including many Chinese restaurants, so communication in Mandarin was never an issue. Old Hill Street Police Station is 200 meters away, and within 800-900 meters, you can reach the Merlion, Marina Square, Marina Bay Sands, and more. The superior location is undeniable. I especially want to thank the reception staff on the first floor (I apologize for forgetting their name). My child needed daily injections, and the medication required refrigeration in the hotel's common fridge. Every day when I went to retrieve the medicine, they greeted me with the warmest smiles and proactive assistance. Although there was a language barrier, it didn't hinder our seamless communication at all. Based on my experience, I didn't encounter any of the issues mentioned in many of the hotel's reviews. My stay was a perfect 100 points, and if I ever go to Singapore again, I will definitely book this hotel without a second thought.
