Aldemar Olympian Village

We paid 2600€ for our stay and received a dirty unhygienic room with many aesthetic as well as hygienic issues and also one safety issue (electric kettle issue). Rust in the living room and bathroom (decorations, sink, bathtub), cracks in the wall, wall paint falling off, carpet full of stains, beach towel inside apartments AC shaft, lying relations manager who instead of solving reported issues said we should seek his assistance the next day even though he knew he had vacation on that day so we won't be able to reach out to him. After hard struggle, lots of nerves and two days, they agreed to change the room for a cleaner one even though they claimed first that they are fully booked for the whole week and I was able to make a new reservation through their webpage (simply lying and unfriendly staff). Food was very disappointing as there was every morning the same kind of food for breakfast, same food for every lunch and same food for every dinner. Yes you can eat how much you want, but imagine to eat 7 days straight the same stuff. The absolute disrespect towards us as a customer was a situation when we arrived at our apartment after 8PM and we found our entrance door open, we've been shocked that there's some robbery taking place, but when we entered the apartment, there was a maintenance personnel who was doing something with the wall plug and could not speak English thus we couldn't find out what was going on and why is he even there. After we arrived he just packed his toolbox and said the word "Problem" and took off. We immediately contacted the receptionist about the situation and they declined to provide any information/reason why was the maintenance personnel in our apartment or what was the problem. We just have to believe our personal stuff wasn't touched or stolen, but our privacy was definitely violated. Absolutely NOT worth 5* and definitely not worth the money, one of the worst vacations you can buy and worst Aldemar resorts so far.

Loved it! Will be returning in 2024 Report is huge with plenty of pools and dining and bars. We were on an all inclusive plan which was brilliant and we ate in the restaurants on many nights. Service was good in all the restaurants other than an odd waiter here or there. Pools were definitely busy but we loved the beach and the surrounding g area beaches. We had a family bungalow which was a bit small because the living space had no alearate seating than the single beds. Next time I think we try the shared pools which looked quieter.

OMG, I’m happy to be here! Amazing resort for the families and friends, everything delicious and atmospheric, wide beach for guests only, very big territory, thats why not noisy at all. I recommend sections with private pools, you will be totally happy!

Fantastic compound, very friendly staff,very clean and comfortable accomodations. Ideal for a family that wants everything close by . Good variety on food either on breakfast or meal. The only reason for the four stars is in reference to your egg mix at breakfast .Scrambled or omelette they were by far my biggest disappointment, they were tasteless and watery. Would expect excellence from a hotel of your size and fame. Kudos on the chef who cooked traditional cretan rice,my compliments!

There was a lot of good food there. Room was cleaned everyday, we are positively surprised. A lot of care taken with cleaning. Animators Amber, Lorenzo, Louise and Erika were great! Out of the whole animation team Mateusz was the best! Helpful, always smiling and really caring about every part of our stay. Out of the whole hotel staff Daria helped us a lot. The reception ladies were also really good at thier job, i didnt have to wait for anything! Both estaurants Alacarte were wonderful, food was not only tasty but also really interesting!!! And the bartneder Adam was a cherry on top. Thank you for all of this! There are also some cons tho. Bartenders from Apollo bar were non sympathetic and never smiling. I lacked open bars around the hotel, only 3 of them. Half of the questes has to do a good 10 minutes walk to the closest one. The biggest two cons are: Lack of the interactive animations for the quests to meet each other at the evenings. Shows were boring, games with quests would be much better. No party at the night, only live boring music. Even if there is something good happening on animation there is no bar there. The second biggest con is that there is no heated pools right there. I were expecting all inclusive, it was lacking a lot for it. But keep in mind that even considering all those cons it was worth a visit!!

Our stay was wonderful. The whole neighbourhood is amezing. We visted Olympia, Patras and Zakyntos. Every place was unique and worth exploring. The hotel by itself was comfy. Huge area, good for taking a night walk. Lights everywhere. IT was safe and clean. Miniclub done a great job. Kids were definitely enjoying the stay. Sport departament with Mateusz on top was a great addition!! Mateusz helped us with understing what happens where and done a great job leading beach volleyball!! Oh and the beach by itself, what was that!!! Lot of sand, beatiful coast. Water in pools was perfect during the hot days. The only minus is lack of the car rental, we would probably enjoyed the stay more with a car!

This hotel is huge and beautiful. We paid for a swim up bungalow and were ecstatic with the location. Initially we were greeted at reception and asked to go to the snack bar as the restaurant lunch service had already closed. We were taken to our room with luggage on an adapted golf buggy which was brilliant, the driver gave us a mini tour of some of the facilities to help us on our way. Room was cleaned every day and all maids friendly. The swim up room was worth every penny, sunshine all day and a large pool to share with 6 other rooms. We were lucky and had 2 pool bars a very short distance away, never busy and certainly no sun bed reservation. Not sure if this was adhered to at the main animation pool but we had no need to venture this way. Please be mindful if going in May and start of June as we were disappointed that the Olympian restaurant was not open which apparently we could have used as we were in a swim up room. A number of al a carte and pool/beach bars were not open. As the complex is so huge I would have been extremely disappointed with a swim up room in the far corner of the area away from any open pool bar. Food, although pleasant, we were shocked at the lack of variety on all aspects. We have stayed in Greece before and due to the size of the place we couldn’t believe the minimal options to sample. We had kebabs 4 of the 7 nights plus the same chicken and pork at every meal time. This is the first AI I have stayed in where a full salad range was not provided for breakfast. Breakfast consisted of the same menu every day. Example is Normally there is a selection of different types of sausage and instead there was just one choice every day. No freshly made omelettes which is a common practice in most AI hotels. Bar staff were great in the evening (only place open) as it got towards the end of the holiday the waitresses that took order of drinks seemed to reduce dramatically and at times we needed to go to the bar and order ourselves. Not a problem but this was the service offered from the start and you could see other regular people eventually heading to the bar directly to order their own drinks. These staff would eventually be seen in the main restaurant showing guests to there table to dine. Beach was exceptional and we hired from the guys at the beach rental place. Lots of laughs and fun had by all. If you are flying in to Kalimantan airport please be advised the coach transfer is absolutely 2 hours, no time will be made up due to the route the coach needs to take, this is accurate on the website from the holiday provider you book with. Although a few cons of the holiday we absolutely had a well deserved rest and relaxation and ultimately pleased with the location of our room.

Amazing family holiday! The hotel is beautiful and huge! We really can’t fault it at all. It exceeded our expectations. We payed to upgrade to a swim up/ private pool as we were visiting during school holidays and hate having to get up early just to secure sun loungers - but this wasn’t a problem here as there are lots of pools all with ample loungers and parasols and the beach stretches for miles with hundreds of sun loungers. It was a great hotel for families - lots of daily activities and the kids club is open daily 10- 6 . The 3 staff in the kids club Maria, Tereza and Erika were fantastic and a credit to the hotel. They deserve recognition as they really made our daughter’s holiday super special. Snacks and drinks were available at the Kids club which is a great idea. There is a mini disco and family entertainment or the option of live music each night. The kids club setting is amazing with a park, mini splash pool and amazing resources for the children. We hired go karts and bikes a couple of times to tour the whole complex which only costs a few euros and was great fun especially at sunset on the path running alongside the beach We ate at the Italian a la carte restaurant which was really good and we ate at the buffet restaurant and snack bar the rest of the time. The food doesn’t vary much but there is a reasonable choice and something for even the fussiest eaters. All of the pink wave animation team really work hard and give 100% to ensure that you really enjoy your holiday - especially the girls working in the kids club that I have previously mentioned. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will consider returning as we had a fantastic week here.

Beautiful looking place and cleaning staff lovely but nothings open they didn't say this when booking ..you go for food when it should be open and they are closed ! Get told to book in at restraunt but its fully booked til after we leave .really feel stranded in the middle of nowhere 🙃
