This guesthouse exceeded all my expectations! It offers accommodation, travel photography, and a restaurant all in one place. The travel photography and dining felt much more affordable than what you'd find elsewhere, and the owner gave us a great discount! The courtyard at night is absolutely stunning, and there's a bar service too. Sitting in the courtyard after dinner, sipping tea, was incredibly relaxing. Plus, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of the old town. It truly felt like a therapeutic stay. Highly, highly recommend it to everyone!

When we checked out, the owner gave us some lovely local specialty snacks and aged vinegar as a parting gift. Plus, breakfast was included for free with our stay! The copper hotpot and stir-fries we had for lunch were also delicious and reasonably priced. The courtyard was a fantastic spot for travel photos – we didn't even need a photographer, and the results were amazing. I highly recommend this guesthouse; it's really nice! I'll definitely bring my friends here again next time.

The room has an antique charm with three courtyards. The interior environment is exceptionally good, with various plants and even a little white rabbit. The breakfast was also very rich, with a homely feel, light and comfortable. I slept soundly for a whole night; it was very quiet. The location is very convenient, right after you enter Xiaonan Gate. Perfect location, good size hotel room and great bunk bed for the kids. Very convenient to walk everywhere in the ancient city and very helpful staff to help us book activities. I recommend!

Great location, close to Xiaonanmen. The owner helped with luggage transfer, but the courtyard has photoshoots, so it's not very quiet.

Very nice family run hotel, the owners were incredibly lovely and made us feeling very comfortable. Super quiet hotel with lovely courtyard in the perfect location. At night it was super quiet and we slept amazingly! The bed was very comfortable and we loved the krang bed. We enjoyed very much staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations for restaurants and things to see and helping us to transport our luggage out of the city walls. The room was small but cozy. The courtyard was very quiet and had a relaxed atmosphere which was great because the main alleys of Pingyao can be quite packed. The street that the hotel is on is currently undergoing renovation which means it’s a noisy and dusty when you step outside. The construction is not a big issue as it can not be heard inside the hotel.
