If I had known it was really so close to the pubs and that the sound vibrates in your head I wouldn't have booked.
Not recommended if you are not going to Playa del Carmen just to party.
The workers also shout in the morning while cleaning and the customers themselves were very annoying, it is almost impossible to relax and rest.
Furthermore, they charged me twice the amount and I still have to justify it to my bank. Very unprofessional.
The receptionists are the best thing about this place, without that this place would be closed because it is not worth it.

This is the best hotel in Playa for this price. I’ve stayed at 4 other hotels at similar prices in Playa and each had some major issue, e.g. poor security, no hot water, bad air conditioning, etc… But not here, everything just works as you’d expect it to.
Special shout outs to Jorge at the front desk and Manches the cat. They are so wonderful and always looking out for the hotel guests and their safety.
It can get a bit loud at night, but I personally didn’t have an issue and you’ll experience noise at any hotel located close to 5th Ave. I will be staying here again!

We were in this hotel in January. We really like it there, especially great coffee in Alamo Cafe. It is few minutes fron the beach and its right in the city. Greetings to the everybody but especially to Jorge and Claudia.

This is a great all around little hotel, inexpensive, but styling in a charming way, with helpful friendly staff. I have stayed in 20 hotels at least in Playa and this is my choice as number one.

We encountered 3 different staff members and they were all very polite, friendly and helpful! This location is awesome, with convenience stores and pharmacies within a couple minutes walk. The coffee shop attached has great coffee & friendly staff as well. The place itself was clean and had the basics necessary for a comfortable stay (i.e A/C, towels, shampoo, soap). The taco place across the street is truly a gem. Would definitely stay here again!

Very cozy and pleasant a**osphere. We stayed there a Saturday night but the noise level coming from a nearby club was an aggression on my ears, to use a euphemism

Great hotel in a very central location. Comfortable, clean rooms, friendly staff, and of course Manchas the cat makes it even better! The hotel is close to a club so some rooms may be a bit noisy.
