Palazzo Bezzi Hotel

This terrific, smart modern hotel a 10min walk from train station & on the edge of the old town. Large modern room, light & quiet with large modern bathroom & quality toiletries. The breakfast is superb of quality produce & plenty of choice. All staff friendly & obliging. Only quibble wifi not secure.

We stayed for two nights in one of the top two suites. The pros were it was a clean, seemly refurbished room. The breakfast in the basement was nice. There were several cons. First, the parking situation. When we booked (months ago) parking was listed as in their garage, but apparently that is not true now. They said we would have no hope of finding anything on the streets because it was a holiday weekend and we had to pay $25 per night for "valet" parking. As for the room, we felt the beds were harder than normal. The bathroom was a nice size, but sadly with all "modern" bathrooms it is not designed very well. The raised sinks mean there is literally no place to set anything on the counters! Also, the shower had no where to place anything. There was a pump shampoo/shower gel. All our own items had to sit on the shower floor! Whoever designs these things..... Our other major problem was the A/C /heat. First, the panel was incomprehensible. The outside temperatures were moderate which meant the neither was on and thus the fan would not work. It was very unpleasant. We discovered this after dinner. The night manager said they had no fans to give us. They did have a fan the next night which made it a lot more comfortable. Finally, the location is several long blocks from the area where the restaurants are. None are around the hotel. Both evening after dark we were uncomfortable walking on deserted streets.

Absolutely brilliant hotel !! Lovely decor , excellent beds and sheets . Very very clean , and the staff is incredible!!! Every single staff is so professional and lovely, they couldn’t do enough for you . It was our daughter’s 10th birthday while we stayed there , and although we never said it to anyone, the hotel staff surprised her on the morning of her birthday with a personalised cake , gifts and a beautiful letter . Thank you so much for making our Italian holiday fabulous. The only thing I could maybe improve is the eggs at breakfast. Otherwise the breakfast is also lovely. ❤️❤️

Because of a last minute health emergency, my husband and I were not able to stay at this lovely hotel and had to cancel our trip. However, based on the wonderful responses of all of the staff over the past few weeks , I world highly recommend staying here. They made arrangements for drivers to pick us up at the airport, drop us off at the cruise port, sent a list of restaurants and then made reservations for us for four nights, sent recommendations for tours and were just incredibly helpful. All of this was done promptly and graciously. When we had to cancel all of their effort, they couldn’t have been nicer. The website and reviews show what a beautiful hotel it is but for me their kindness says it all. I hope we get a chance to stay there in the future . This is a wonderful group of people !

Oh do I love the hotel. It is in a quiet part of town but still close to everything in Ravenna. And a real plus..it's a short walk to the train station. I arrived and as requested I received a quiet room with feather free pillows. I was also given a 15 minute free massage at the spa. The room was spacious and lovely. The desk gave me info on sights and choice restaurants. The breakfast was amazing. They were so welcoming. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel; the staff were helpful and friendly, it is conveniently located, impressively decorated and the breakfast was excellent. We had no problem with parking and had a lovely day enjoying the monuments in Ravenna.

Room and bed of solid value but the room lacked a window looking at a patio or a basic bonavista and when undeclared and at the same price with a 4th floor better room. Thus always check before accepting. Oblong bathroom with substandard for 4* showertray with accoutrements. Inadequate bidet. Conveniently located though, near Appolinaris Nuovo,minimum lounge space. Essentially a medium boutique hotel

A very fine boutique hotel. The room and bathroom both well appointed and spacious. What really struck me and I see mentioned by other reviewers is the quality and variety of the breakfast offerings, hands down the best of the seven places I’ve stayed on this Italian vacation. It is in a quiet part of town, perhaps a negative for some as it is a minor trek to the part of town with restaurants and most of the major sites. It is about a block from one of the UNESCO listed properties. It is also about a 10-15 minute walk to the train station. The hotel also has a fitness center and spa but I didn’t check out either.
