Lack of sunshine around the pool We stayed (3xAdult, 1xTeen) for four nights whilst attending a sporting event nearby. On entering the hotel, it looked pleasant. On entering our room however, we got old damp kind of smell. The fridge did not function and we reported it on several occasions and it was never fixed. We did have an issue with the plug in the bathroom sink, which they rectified by removing the plug entirely. Housekeeping staff did a great job in the limited conditions. The room is very narrow, there is luggage table behind the door, meaning you cannot open it fully, and the bathroom is old, dated, and prone to leeks. However, shower pressure is good. We were told halfway through our stay the hotel is under new management. This is bringing a full refurbishment over the coming months and so explains why we were awoken before 8am one morning to the sound of hammering and banging. Would we stay again, probably not. There are so many alternatives in the area with similarly great locations, but with better facilities, for similar prices.

This hotel is perfectly located between city centre and the beach. It’s also easy access to train station (10min walk) and bus 9 (airport). The bedroom was fine and bathroom was roomy and shower was good. Air con was pleasant. I didn’t try breakfast or restaurant. The safe had no keys but we eventually found them. My two quibbles: no one answered any of my emails so I had to call to double check they weren’t shut due to COVID 19 or something ; (annoying!) the cleaning starts at 7am, and frankly, the maid is the noisiest person ever. Imagine a hoover on the room next to you at 7am when you went to bed at 2am! The walls are paper thin and you hear the neighbours, which is not great, but cleaning staff can be scheduled for a more godly hour. I had the worst 3 mornings ever, up hours before I intended to be. As many travellers complained and clearly the hotel doesn’t care, I am giving only 3 stars.

The room was clean, the bed was good enough and the kitchens were also spacious .... excellent breakfast with a payment and provided mainly with sweet but also with the salt , which we prefer, was abundant. Some things that didn't go: 1.la The bathroom door was sliding and remained open was closed with hardness (the term in the red shower that took all the drawings) 2. a hot night horrible! We tried to decrease in vain (unfortunately, as I was at night I didn't feel disturbed at reception) 3. 7euro for parking seems to me excessive 4. hotel in front of the train station (not particularly noisy but you feel!!. Maybe having booked with booking they gave us the ”lower” room. It is excellent in the central position near the palace.

It is the second year in a row that I spent my holiday at Ca'Vanni hotel and I am planning to return next year. You can find, of course, way more luxurious hotels in Rimini (all depends on your budget) but even if I could afford a fancier hotel, I would return here. Reasons are very simple: -extremely caring and polite staff -breakfast is excellent -rooms are spot on and cleaned daily -helpful receptionists when it comes to small additional requests -cozy and familiar environment -location is great, very close to the beach All in one...these guys rock. Abbiamo selezionato questo Hotel tra quelli presenti nel pacchetto di Mirabilandia di 2 notti. Non appena ho prenotato li ho chiamati per sapere se avessero una spondina da inserire nel letto matrimoniale in quanto nostra figlia di 3 anni dorme con noi. In caso contrario mi sono reso disponibile a portarmela io da casa. Mi hanno riferito che avrebbero verificato e fatto sapere. Li ho richiamati io dopo una settimana e mi hanno risposto che ancora non avevano controllato, dopo mezz'ora un ragazzo gentile mi ha finalmente confermato che la avevano. Arriviamo la sera del giorno di check-in dopo essere stai al parco, ci accoglie una signorina molto gentile che ci dice comunque che ormai per quella notte non potevano richiamare il personale delle camere e quindi per la prima notte niente spondina (?). La mattina dopo gli ricordo di farcela trovare in camera e mi assicurano che non ci saranno problemi. La sera al nostro rientro, sempre la signorina mi dice che la dovrebbero aver già inserita e se non dovesse esserci, di richiamare in reception che avrebbero provveduto. Niente di tutto questo! Chiamo il ricevimento, non risponde nessuno, scendo e mi dice che al nostro rientro dopo cena la avremmo trovata in camera. Rientriamo e niente ancora. Il portiere di notte ci dice di attendere 10 minuti che ce l'avrebbero portata in camera (ore 23.10), a mezzanotte chiamo... ”si mi scusi ma abbiamo un problema da risolvere prima”...a quel punto mi sono davvero innervosito e riepilogato quando scritto anche in questa recensione. Ho risolto diversamente accostando il terzo letto alla parte della bimba e non gli ho aperto perchè SOLO DOPO ESSERMI ARRABBIATO AL TELEFONO, in 10 minuti sono arrivati con la benedetta spondina!!! Assurdo che per una cosa così stupida, il ricordo della vacanza sia rovinata dal menefreghismo /incompetenza/mancanza di comunicazioni tra personale. Per il resto mi associo a chi ha scritto che il bagno (soprattutto la doccia) è da rifare e pulire meglio. Ristorante ok. Non torneremo più.
