Room was tiny and very old, shower door was only half way on. Great location and great from the outside, they just seriously need to remodel their rooms.

Really great location, great service. Could be a little updated in the bathroom. The showerhead was knocked fabulous. But it was a great location. The gardens were really pretty. Service was lovely. The floors I felt could’ve had a rug because the wood floors felt a bit gritty. A little sand in the floor . But would definitely recommend.

Great location, right accross the road from the beach and just a few blocks from the pier. It's in easy walking distance from the train station and the fantastic downtown food scene.
The staff was friendly and the grounds were landscaped well.

Fantastic Location, Friendly staff and very nice rooms. Loved being so close to everything. Free Bikes is a plus but your also next to the e bikes which are pretty cool to go around town. We will be back Santa Barbara is a special place

The building needs to be updated. The hardwood in front of the bathroom felt like I would fall through.

The sink in bathroom did not have a stopper. Rooms really need upgrading. The bathtub shower drain all scratched. Thermostat hard to adjust. No suitable place to really store things especially in bathroom. Hardly any plugs for electronics. Had laptop, Apple Watch, phone, iPad etc. We were in 147 and no plugs by table to plug in laptop to work. For the price this property is old and needs upgrading terribly. Staff really nice but little store really elevates prices. Bottle of wine you could get at Cost 45 dollars and 1/2 bottle $25. Ridiculous. Would not stay here again.

This is a MOTEL not a hotel. Our room was loud and couldn't have the window open because the "ocean view" is on the Main Street. Our "valet" consisted of us parking our car and then being handed our keys the next morning for a forced $32 valet charge. We had to walk down the street with our luggage to get to where our room was located. The outdoor pool is heated so kids were out early being noisy and having fun in Feb.
It's a nice motel, not hotel, but it's over priced for the stay.
