We arrived with a family of 5 and were looking forward to our first weekend together with friends since the start of the pandemic. Overall, you have to say that the food is nice but not overwhelming and that the staff are very friendly on the whole. But you have to be measured against the standard 4s and apart from the price, this is not achieved by a long shot. We had a themed room plus a neighboring room with a connecting door, neither of the two bathrooms had a shower, in one bathroom there was a corner tub without any shower partition and it was certainly not usable. The beds were OK, the cleanliness was no more than adequate, the rooms were probably last renovated before the turn of the millennium, they looked thinly soundproof without air conditioning and any other comfort. The whole thing for us for EUR 750 in half board - crazy. On the first evening we had great service and great food, so we started the weekend full of joy. But on the second evening they forgot about us, the food was average. When we pointed out that we hadn't even had any drinks until dinner started, they tried hard, but unfortunately the impression had already gone down the drain. When we left on Sunday and wanted to go to our rooms after breakfast, cleaning had already started before checkout, the first of the weekend, which in my opinion is not acceptable despite Corona at 4s. The housekeeper then said that this was completely normal, but her colleagues at checkout contradicted this and took the cost of an extra bed off the bill without further questioning, which was a nice gesture. All in all, a very average, completely overpriced hotel. For that price there is the Bollants in the park in the region which also deserves its category, so we won't be coming back.
