Fantastic location, right next to a bustling shopping district and subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding great food. The hotel itself is clean and tastefully decorated, with tidy and quiet public areas, and rooms that get plenty of natural light. The front desk staff were warm and helpful, check-in and check-out were efficient, and their attention to detail made for a truly excellent stay. Definitely my top choice for future trips!

I always thought this hotel looked pretty upscale from the outside, so this time I brought my clients to check it out. The lobby is very spacious, with sofa areas and a co-working space. Large floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of natural light. The breakfast selection is extensive, and the restaurant windows offer views of the street outside. However, it's a pity that the menu rarely changes; it's pretty much the same every day. The rooms offer a complimentary laundry service, which is a lifesaver for business travelers who need their clothes washed. They can get your laundry done and delivered back to your room in half a day! The location is super convenient, right near Xujiahui Station, and Guangqi Park is next door to the hotel. The front desk staff, especially Ms. Lailai, was wonderful—very polite and friendly. She went out of her way to help me track down a pile of packages. Her boss should definitely give her a bonus! 🍗

The bedding was comfortable and clean. We received a free room upgrade, and we could see Xujiahui Cathedral from our window. The shower had strong water pressure, and the air conditioning got nice and cool. The hotel is located in the heart of Xujiahui, making transportation and dining very convenient. Xujiahui Cathedral, Xuhui Bookstore, and the Jiaotong University campus are all just a stone's throw away.

Great for working out, and the location is good with a subway station nearby. There are also restaurants next door. The only downside is that it's hard to get a taxi. The room has a nice view, a huge TV, a large bed, and a bathtub. It's a good place to stay when there are no soccer games.

My stay at the Moxy Shanghai Xuhui for this business trip was full of pleasant surprises, and I absolutely must give a special shout-out to Front Desk Manager Loren Zhou for his incredibly thoughtful and flexible service! When checking in, Loren processed everything efficiently and with great energy. Learning that my schedule was tight and I had an online meeting the next afternoon, he not only proactively offered me a late checkout until 4 PM to ensure I had ample preparation time, but also kindly added breakfast for the next day to my booking. This level of proactive care, which goes above and beyond, completely eased all my worries! Throughout my entire stay, Loren remained highly attentive. Whether it was promptly responding to requests or enthusiastically introducing the hotel's stylish public spaces and social events, he truly showcased the unique, youthful, and personalized service charm of the Moxy brand! The hotel itself is fashionably designed and conveniently located, perfectly suiting my business travel needs. However, it was Loren Zhou, with his genuine sincerity and foresight in service, who truly elevated a simple stay into a delightful experience that felt both relaxed and incredibly well-supported. He is undoubtedly the heart and soul of this hotel. I have unhesitatingly made Moxy Shanghai Xuhui my top choice for future business trips and leisure explorations, and I wholeheartedly recommend the vibrancy and convenience brought by Loren Zhou to all fellow young travelers!

The hotel is near Xuhui Park, and not too far from Wukang Road, Jiaotong University, the Bund, or Shanghai South. The subway station seems a bit of a walk, but taxis are convenient. The only downside is that you can't park directly in front of the hotel, only outside the solid line, which makes loading and unloading luggage a bit risky. The room is quite spacious and matches the description; the bathroom is clean, tidy, and bright, which I really liked. The mattress and pillows are also comfortable, though if your room faces the street, you'll need to keep the windows closed at night to avoid noise. There's a wide variety of breakfast options, both Chinese and Western. The hotel's facilities are fine, but when checking out, I was asked if my stay was satisfactory. I couldn't honestly say I was very satisfied. Firstly, most of my requests at check-in, such as upgrades or points, were denied. Then, when I called to ask for a firmer pillow, the staff member simply said, 'No, they're all the same.' I only managed to get one after asking someone else later. I suggest the hotel improve its staff training. After all, it's a Marriott property, and you're paying over 800 yuan a night...

This is my second time booking here, as someone from the suburbs, I'm playing city dweller for a few days. Part of me selfishly hopes fewer people discover this hidden gem of a hotel in such a prime location, but I also genuinely wish for it to thrive. What truly stands out is how polite the parking attendant is; he's one of the friendliest security guards I've ever encountered. My mood is always great from the moment I enter or leave the parking lot, and I hope the hotel gives them some recognition. The street opposite has recently been renovated and is now open for business, which has really enhanced the shopping experience around here. It's truly a comfortable stay. As Shanghainese say, '螺蛳壳里作道场' (making a grand show in a snail shell – meaning making the most of a small space), the room has everything you need. The only minor drawback is the limited storage space; it would be perfect if there were an additional small table/chair or a TV cabinet.

The hotel is right across from Xujiahui Park and a ten-minute walk from the metro station. The facilities, cleanliness, environment, and service were all satisfactory. We even received complimentary fruit and coffee upon check-in, and the in-room soft drinks were free and unlimited. A fantastic experience!

The front desk service deserves full marks: the staff were friendly and smiling throughout, check-in and check-out were very quick. They were patient and meticulous when I asked for directions and stored my luggage. My requests were promptly attended to, and the service was thoughtful and professional, with absolutely no perfunctory feeling. Professional [strong]! The breakfast buffet exceeded expectations: a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options. Chinese dim sum, hot congee with small dishes, and a freshly-made noodle station were all available. Western bread, fried eggs, salads, fruits, and drinks were also abundant. The ingredients were fresh and replenished promptly, and the taste was spot-on. Starting the day with such a satisfying breakfast was wonderful. Convenient location, great facilities, attentive service, and an excellent breakfast – this is my top choice for business trips or travel. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Xujiahui!
