The name Guisu Homestay truly lives up to its reputation! Nestled in the Wutong tree-lined streets of Yueyang Road, the location is superb, offering a fantastic atmosphere for leisurely strolls. The interior is clean and refreshing, and the environment is quiet and elegant. The butler service is attentive, with smooth communication throughout our stay. It's a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city, allowing us to fully experience the charm of old Shanghai. Our stay was absolutely perfect, highly recommended!

Room size was decent. Room was clean and well maintained. Only minus point us the translucent door of the toilet/bathroom. You could see the person using the toilet from the outside! There is a sliding door between the toilet area and the room, but that meant that you could not access the room door without opening the sliding door. Location was good and room was quite soundproof.

Came to Shanghai for a performance and stayed at One Lemon again! The location is absolutely fantastic. The hotel is incredibly, incredibly clean – truly a five-star standard. Due to a typhoon, my high-speed train was canceled, and I couldn't go home, so I extended my stay for another night through the mini-program. However, when it was time to switch rooms, there wasn't a clean one available. A huge shout-out to the front desk staff (the brother and sister who helped me)! They upgraded me to a double bunk bed for free. I was so touched! I'm going to love One Lemon forever! Will definitely be back next time!

Every time I go to the West Bund for a show, I stay at Atour. It's clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The only issue this time was that the glass door of the bathroom in my room didn't close properly, which was a bit inconvenient since I was staying with a friend. The front desk was very efficient and even gave me a complimentary breakfast. Everything is smart-controlled; if you need anything, you just order it via XiaoDu. Overall, it's pretty good.

I'm glad I stayed an extra night; it gave me time to explore the hotel's small garden the morning after finishing my work. I asked the concierge and a bellhop, and the hotel signage was actually very clear. Following the arrows, I soon found a lawn and a small gazebo. It was incredibly hot, and being in the city center, it was really nice to find some shade and this little pavilion. I enjoyed a leisurely stroll and sat in the gazebo for a while; it was so peaceful with hardly anyone around early in the morning. On the first floor, they also offer Shanghai dim sum. I saw many people enjoying the buffet at lunchtime. Oh, and looking at the photos, this hotel has hosted many celebrities and dignitaries from both China and abroad, which is quite impressive! I think the only minor issues were that the elevator floor indicator wasn't very clear, and the toilet drainage in my room wasn't the best. Other than that, my stay was great, and I really appreciated the complimentary cookies the hotel provided daily. This trip was too rushed and busy with work, but I hope to stay a few more nights next time to truly experience everything.

The wooden floors, bathed in soft light, complement the clean and refined bathroom. A day spent here feels utterly relaxed and unhurried. Breakfast is simple yet nourishing. Warm soy milk soothes the stomach, while corn, sweet potatoes, and steamed buns provide ample carbs. Stir-fried seasonal vegetables, alongside braised meats and nuts, offer a balanced and wholesome meal, preparing you for the day ahead. In the afternoon, I headed to the hotel's pool for a refreshing swim. The crystal-clear water shimmered with ripples. Underwater, the water enveloped my body, stretching my shoulders and back, relieving the fatigue from prolonged sitting. Switching to breaststroke, the kicking and pulling stretched my core and limbs, my heart and lungs rising and falling rhythmically. Sweat dissipated with the water, washing away all my accumulated weariness. After my swim, I moved to ”Xiji Gangjiu” to try some Cantonese dim sum. Each dish was a delight. Garlic oysters are nourishing and rich in protein, while spring onion chicken replenishes vital energy. Fresh shrimp and coriander dumplings are light and appetizing. Beef balls with choi sum provide excellent protein and dietary fiber, and the two-tone water chestnut cake is delightfully sweet and refreshing. The combination of seafood, poultry, vegetables, and grains was well-balanced—fresh, not greasy, and wonderfully wholesome. A dip in the 'azure waters' stretched my muscles and bones, a 'Cantonese feast' nourished my body, and the elegant room provided a sanctuary for my mind. With a perfect blend of activity and rest, and nourishing food, a day of leisure at Donghu Hotel brought a deep sense of peace, relaxation, and freedom.

Staying at Wukang Hidden Retreat was absolutely the best choice this time. The location is unbeatable, and the hotel perfectly fulfilled my fantasy of staying in an old Shanghai house. The moment I stepped inside, the lush greenery outside the window enveloped me, instantly bringing a sense of calm, like a poem or a painting. Sitting in the lounge reading books about old Shanghai added a unique charm. The staircase in the old house is still the original wooden one. Walking up it, hand on the railing, felt a bit surreal... like traveling back in time. What I loved most was that a 2-minute walk to the left led directly to 'Harmay' and 'Brandy Melville,' my daughter's favorite shops. To the right was 'Subdued,' and 'ba*****t Fg' was just a short cab ride away. We even walked back to the hotel because the beautiful plane tree-lined avenue was so enchanting. Walking along, I couldn't tell if I was in a painting or if the painting was within me... Miss Manman at the front desk provided us with excellent service, and the other ladies, whose names I didn't catch, were also gentle and thoughtful. Our stay was fantastic!

民宿位置位於徐家匯，旁邊就是地鐵，位置特別好。裝修很精緻，環境宜人，周邊美食娛樂豐富。特別感謝民宿老闆的服務，體貼到位。

The room was clean and comfortable, though the air conditioning was a bit temperamental, going from hot to cold. Overall, the comfort level was acceptable. The first room I stayed in had a noticeable electrical humming noise, and the night light wouldn't turn off. If I were really tired, I could have managed, but I ended up requesting a room change. On the other hand, breakfast and the convenience of the surrounding area were both really good.

I had a great overall experience at Meihau. The hotel's ambiance is luxurious and grand, and the rooms are impeccably cleaned. The appliances work perfectly, and amenities are well-stocked. Housekeeper Lily was incredibly sincere, calling in advance to confirm my arrival and hold the room. The most thoughtful service was her timely reminders about afternoon tea and late-night snacks. They really pay attention to the small details here, and my entire stay was hassle-free.
