The hotel is in a nice location near many tourist attractions, including Nan Jing Road, and was near the restaurant I like the most. They have lobster there, and I think it is the best tasting lobster in shanghai!! haha. I am a huge lobster fan, so you can imagine I was happy. I went every day and never got sick of it. The food is great here. Not only is the location and food amazing, but the staff and services in the hotel are top notch. There is nothing I can complain about. You can tell they value their customers. Overall this hotel is a 5-star in my book. So, if you are looking for a place to stay in Shanghai, this should be at the top of your list. You can’t go wrong here!

Stayed for 3 nights. Hotel is clean and location is quite convenient, near exit 14 although it’s all stairs.
The hotel has a robot that sends up your food delivery, which was quite cool.
Their hand soap and body wash smells quite nice (woody scent).

I booked 2 rooms. Reception was kind enough to prepare the rooms side by side so that we can take care of our parents easily. Room was clean and spacious. The centralised heater provided was also great to keep the whole room warm as my parents were afraid of the cold. Tried the breakfast buffet on one day as it was raining, food options were not bad. Downstairs leads straight to Nanjing Street shopping malls. Very convenient. Highly recommended!

The hotel is convenient and easy to find. The staff is so kind and always made an extra effort to help and speak in English , special thanks to Lin Feng for his tremendous help. They also gave me a small gift as I left. The room was quiet and cool. And I genuinely had an amazing night sleep. The bathroom is a bit small but I’m not complaining. The gym is fully equipped with all the basic machines one would need. There was a beautiful patio area where you can sit and read or enjoy the sun. The laundry room is open 24/7 and has many machines that you don’t have to wait that long. Overall great experience 10/10 would recommends

Excellent location, 5 min to the Bund, convenient store and metro station. Plenty of local food around the preperty, and 5-10 walk to Yu Garden - which offers plenty of snacks. There’s a rooftop evening tea/ bar at night spot called 豫园印象 which is a cool hangout spot when i couldn’t sleep at night.
Room is cozy and mine came with a balcony. Room is awesome!
Hotel staff are friendly. Shout out to Ms Sui for the exceptional service and offered great assistance in food delivery 外卖 during my check in. Good variety of breakfast choice as well.

Stayed here for 2D1N because we saw that there was a balcony view of the Pearl tower and it definitely did not disappoint! The room is a bit small for what you're paying for but the views and the location truly make this place worth it. It's literally in the middle of Nanjing road so it's very walkable to many of the famous stores in Shanghai! I would definitely book here again if I want a place that's easy to go to shopping areas! Attached is the view of the room from the balcony~

The location is excellent. Bus stops and metro stations are all a stone throw so you can easily go to main attractions such as The Bund, Nanjing Pedestrian Street, Yuyuan Garden, Xintiandi, etc. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Highly recommend 👍

An Exceptional Stay at YouLi Hotel in the Heart of Shanghai! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From the moment we arrived, the service at this hotel was nothing short of remarkable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect—their warmth and professionalism truly set this place apart.
The hotel itself is immaculately clean, and my room was surprisingly spacious, offering a comfortable retreat after busy days exploring the city. What impressed me most, however, was the staff’s dedication to making my trip unforgettable. They patiently introduced me to must-see attractions and hidden local gems, along with personalized food recommendations that turned every meal into an adventure.
Location-wise, it’s a traveler’s dream! Just steps away from the iconic Bund Shanghai, and surrounded by countless restaurants and convenience stores, everything I needed was within easy reach. Whether grabbing a quick snack or embarking on a sightseeing spree, the convenience added so much value to my trip.
If you’re looking for a spotless, well-located hotel with staff who treat you like family, look no further. This place exceeded all expectations, and I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit to Shanghai. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

We stayed at The Bund Puyan Hotel for three nights, and it was a pleasant experience overall. The room had decent space and came with a nice view, which was a bonus. The hotel itself looks old but is very well-maintained, giving it a charming character. The breakfast, however, was a letdown—very limited options and no live cooking counter. If you’re someone who skips breakfast, this won’t be an issue.
The location is a strong point, just a 10-minute walk to Nanjing Road and 15 minutes to The Bund. The staff were the real highlight—exceptionally helpful and kind. When I fell sick, they guided me to the nearest government hospital and gave clear advice on what to do. A special shoutout to Jiang Yu Fei, who went above and beyond by arranging a last-minute 6-seater taxi to the airport when I struggled to book one through the Didi app. Big kudos to the team!
While the breakfast could improve, the location, upkeep, and outstanding staff make this a solid choice.

It was an incredible experience. The hotel is so clean. We enjoyed our visit and I would recommend this hotel absolutely. The only recommendation is that the hotel should offer not only Chinese breakfast but also a buffet breakfast or continental breakfast.

Excellent
GGuest UserThe homestay near the Bund, a famous tourist attraction in Shanghai, really exceeded my expectations. There is a small observation deck where you can see the beautiful scenery of Pudong. The whole room is decorated very carefully and fully meets the needs of family outings. The service during the stay was also humane. Come and experience other styles next time👍

GGuest UserGood location, excellent service, clean and quiet room. The only problem is that you have to climb a few stairs to get to the lift. That’s not convenient when you carry a heavy suitcase..
GGuest UserMs. Lin was the best front counter service agent. Friendly and supportive. She was also one of the few that would greet customers whenever she saw customers.

AAnonymous Userhad a good stay at this hotel. The location is convenient, with easy access to public transportation. Bus No. 71 stops nearby, making it simple to get to Nanjing Road directly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Overall, a great option for travelers looking for convenience and value.
GGuest UserStayed here for business trip, overall good! After entering the hotel lobby, there was a greeting, the front desk staff smiled, check-in was efficient and smooth, and the professionalism was very high, good! The room was well-lit and ventilated, and the hygiene was also in place. The public areas and lobby were clean and bright, and the surrounding transportation was convenient. There were subway stations and bus stops within a walking distance of about 400 meters. The price-performance ratio was super high. Recommended to all travelers, it is worth staying! Very good!!! The service attitude of Xiao Wang at the front desk was very good, very good! Worth a thumbs up!
Wwen1008Stayed here for a night during a layover and it definitely exceeded my expectations! It's in a convenient spot right by the Nanjing Rd Pedestrian Mall, check-in and check-out were really swift and easy. Everything was smooth and hassle-free—would definitely stay again!

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location. There is a McDonald's downstairs, ASE is across the street, and the subway station is also very close. After crossing the overpass, you can walk straight for 10 minutes to reach Ruijin Hospital. The hotel room is clean and hygienic, and the soundproofing is average. Overall, it is good value for money
BBinlaoshiI remember when I was a kid, my mother made me a cup of coffee. She said, ”Child, try it. Foreigners all drink this.” I was always afraid of coffee when I was young. The sour, sweet, bitter and astringent taste made me uncomfortable. When I grew up, I went to Milo, Shangdao, and Starbucks, but I could never find the taste of my childhood, until one day I drank a pack of Isatis root powder.
Ccandy♀There are supermarkets such as Lawson around, and the subway station is too close, so the transportation is very convenient. Don't consider it if you have high requirements for the environment. I didn't choose to take a shower after looking at the environment of the toilet. I just made do with it for one night. Overall, it's good.
