I have stayed at the hotel before and felt it was pretty good. I chose this hotel again this time. The front desk service was very good and attentive. Now they have also launched a projection room. I must try it next time I have a chance. The facilities around the hotel are good and it is convenient to take a taxi. There are also small gifts when checking out.

In general, staff don’t speak and read English, even basic words for hospitality industry. When I first showed my booking to receptionist to check in, she didn’t check at all and told me to ask customer service in Trip. I guess she didn’t understand the booking I had shown her. So highly recommend to show chinese version of your booking to smooth check-in process. Except language barrier, everything (facilities, staff attitute, cleaness,…) is almost perfect.

Rarely will take the initiative to evaluate the merchants. Some are indeed worthy of evaluation. First of all, I don’t know if some of the evaluations are malicious or a group of people feel that the service attitude is good. The lady is very patient and will explain to you in detail The room type I booked is a double bed. It is cheaper than a room with an external window without an external window. It feels very worthwhile. It is only a business room with an external window. The comment said that the window was ordered and the result was a fake window facing the wall. Suddenly it was wrong for the boss. The order was that there was no external window and complained that it is embarrassing that people have no windows. It's like buying silver is impossible. If your gold is followed by hygiene, in general it is okay to not follow the requirements of a five-star hotel. After all, this is a budget hotel. The requirements are too high and it is not suitable for living here. There is another sound insulation problem. It’s not suitable for living here and today I went to the front desk downstairs to apply for renewal, and then I found that there was a man cursing. The main reason is that the price was cheap yesterday. Why is the price increase today? All kinds of swearing, I feel that this person is so unqualified. I should know that the price fluctuates normally. It can't always be the same price. The price of food or fruit outside will not always be the same price. And this price is not the front desk brother. The price set by my sister can be considered a chain store, right? No need to always be embarrassed by others. We have been waiting in line at the back. At this time, I also admire the front desk. I kept smiling and explaining to that person. I can't help but curse, I really don't have to say that the front desk service is of high quality. I would like to give a compliment. According to my understanding of the surrounding hotels, this is the most cost-effective one after all, after all, I will choose here next time I come!

Location is not that great if you are going to Shanghai for holidays. Probably a 10-15 minute walk to the 2 nearest subway lines which not the best in cold winter. Not much food and things to do within 5 minutes but the good stuff are all 20-30 mins walk away. I see many long stay guest so you can also use the kitchen if you want to cook there. This wont be like a hostel where you can hang around in the common areas and get to know people as I say many long stay guest which are families. Room is a little cold so you need the heater on for a long time.

Stayed at the Rayfont for 12 days on Sept.2020, just stayed another 14 days Jul.2022. Honestly, great room for such a great price. It's not very new, but the room is pretty clean and neat (ask for the rooms with balconies, it's the same price and you'll get a nice large balcony). The hotel's location is one of its striking features, you can get to the best areas in Shanghai within a @15~20min drive. Clean room everyday, nice staff & awesome mini fridge in the room😄. The biggest downside is that the WiFi is crap... Overall, highly recommend for those that don't mind the mediocre outer looks of the hotel (because inside the rooms is pretty nice), recommend to those that want a nice room for a great price.

It is also very close to Ruijin Hospital, about ten minutes' walk away. 🔔Service: Compliment at the end, the eldest brother on duty, and the girl at the front desk communicated in time to solve problems. 🧹Sanitation: The room is relatively clean. The green paintings in the room and the blue bathroom also give people a refreshing and comfortable feeling. After some problems were raised, they also actively cooperated to solve them, which is great.

It took me 30 minutes to check in. And when I went up to the room, it wasn't cleaned, so I waited in the lobby for another 15 minutes. I saw a cockroach the size of my thumb while taking a shower at night. The soundproofing and bedding were fine.

The service in this hotel is impeccable. I had a local SIM card issue with my phone, which is completely outside the responsibility of the hotel. When I called hotel exchanger and asked how to call China Mobile, Ms Alieen Zhang offered to have one of the managers come up to my room to help me troubleshoot the problem. Hex from the reception was very tech savvy and solved my SIM card issue quickly. This saved me a long trip and possible long wait to the store to get this resolved. This is really above and beyond for the customer service.
