First, let's talk about the airports. It's super convenient to get to and from Pudong and Hongqiao airports. Just take Exit 14 of Line 2, and no matter how much luggage you have, you can get directly to the hotel effortlessly. Next, the hotel's location is excellent, right in the core area of Jing'an Temple. Jiuguang Department Store is just a stone's throw away, a mere 30-50 meter walk. Now, about the hotel's service: Ms. Ma was fantastic. She was very observant and great at conversation. When she saw us holding bread, she recommended some excellent local brands. Seeing us wearing Lululemon, she told us about the Lululemon outlet at Bicester Village. And when she noticed us drinking coffee, she immediately suggested the hotel's cappuccino. She has that clever Shanghai wit combined with northern Chinese hospitality – truly wonderful. Finally, regarding room service, they were incredibly responsive. Ice arrived within two minutes, and towels were delivered right away!

I stayed at Jing An Shangri-La, Shanghai from July 24–26, and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is exceptionally comfortable, and its location is perfect—making it very convenient to travel anywhere in the city. The service from every member of the staff was outstanding, especially Ms. Alisa at the front desk. She was incredibly warm, professional, and attentive throughout my stay. Her genuine hospitality made me feel truly welcomed and cared for. She made me feel that this was truly a “home away from home.” Thank you, Ms. Alisa, and the entire Shangri-La team, for making my stay so memorable. I look forward to coming back again.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Jing'an Temple. The street downstairs isn't too busy with traffic, so it's not very noisy, and the soundproofing of the windows is quite good. The guest rooms are spacious and well-equipped, though the sink design is a bit impractical – water splashes easily, and there's not much counter space for toiletries. The tea bags provided in the room seemed a bit old. The hotel lobby has a very artistic design, and there's a self-service laundry room, which is very convenient.

I chose this established four-star hotel in Jing'an District for my business trip to Shanghai, primarily for its location. It's situated in the Caojiadu commercial area, within walking distance of Jing'an Temple and Zhongshan Park. Wanhangdu Road is right downstairs, making it convenient for dining and shopping. 🔊 **Soundproofing is a major flaw** This really needs to be complained about! I could clearly hear conversations from the next room, and at night, there was a frequent, very noticeable ”woo-loong woo-loong” noise in the room, which felt like it might be due to aging water pipes or air conditioning ducts. I'm not sure what it was, but it sounded like a tractor. If you're sensitive to noise, I recommend bringing earplugs. 🍳 **Breakfast is indeed plentiful** I have to praise the breakfast; the variety was excellent, with both Chinese and Western options. The live noodle station offered scallion oil noodles and mini wontons, which tasted great. The fruit section had red dragon fruit and wax apples, which is more generous than many hotels at a similar price point. The breakfast hours are long, which is great for late risers. 🏨 **Renovation is good, but it's clearly an older hotel** A The lobby and public areas are quite grand, and the room was spacious and bright with expansive views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding was comfortable. However, the facilities clearly show that it's an older hotel, with some equipment noticeably aged. Nevertheless, the hygiene is well-maintained. 💁 **Front desk service is excellent** The front desk staff were very enthusiastic, check-in was swift, and requests were handled promptly. **Summary:** Great location, fantastic breakfast, and attentive service, but the soundproofing and aging facilities are definite drawbacks. Whether you get a good night's sleep might really depend on luck.

The tile floor in the room was a bit slippery and greasy. The location is decent, about a 5-minute bike ride from Jing'an Temple Station, but a bit of a walk. I was woken up by a 'thumping' noise from around 7 am, which didn't stop until past 8 am. Since all rooms are tatami style, housekeeping should pay more attention.

I booked this hotel based on a friend's recommendation, and I'm glad I did. The room facilities are well-maintained, and the customer service is excellent. They even offer room service until after 10:30 PM! We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Chinese restaurant on the second floor – my kids loved it! While the breakfast buffet isn't super extensive, the quality of the food is very good. The location is fantastic, right next to Jing'an Temple and Jiuguang Department Store, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. Public transport is also easily accessible. The only minor downside is that the road outside can get quite congested, especially when trying to hail a taxi. It's fine if you're not in a rush, but it can be a bit of a hassle if you're on a tight schedule.

The overall decor and ambiance are excellent, and the service is friendly. It's about a 10-minute walk from Exit 1 of Jing'an Temple station. There are plenty of food options nearby, though after 9 PM, food delivery from the malls becomes scarcer, but you can still find many items to order. The breakfast selection is also very rich, with Chinese options like congee, noodles, wontons, savory soy milk, tofu pudding, bread, and fruit. You can definitely fill up if you're not too picky. For late-night snacks, they offer simple white congee, millet congee, and some pickles. It's really comforting to have a warm bowl of congee at night. Coming back to the hotel at night, you can also do your laundry and even dry it, which doesn't affect your travel mood at all.

The price was reasonable, the room was spacious and clean, and the soundproofing was excellent. The service was great too; they provided two bottles of mineral water per person daily. The location is convenient for transportation, with the subway station just a 10-minute walk away, and plenty of dining options nearby. It exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Fantastic Stay – Exceptional Service, Great Location, and Seamless Logistics! We had an outstanding stay at The Kunlun Jing’An and will definitely be staying here again! Room & View: Our room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and spacious, featuring a fantastic view overlooking Jing'an Temple. Breakfast: The breakfast spread offers an incredible variety of delicious choices, with plenty of great options available for vegetarians. Concierge: A massive thank you to the concierge team! They were unbelievably helpful, organised and accommodating in managing and receiving my multiple Taobao deliveries prior to and during my stay. Airport Transfer: We used the hotel’s own airport transport service for CNY 270. The big van was clean and comfortable, and the driver was prompt, courteous, and excellent overall. Overall, a brilliant hotel experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Great homestay! It is a three-story building. The environment is very good and beautiful. There are four rooms and two bathrooms. It can accommodate up to ten people! ! ! Especially suitable for poor college students to travel in groups☺️☺️The location is also very good. It is close to everywhere. It is very convenient to take a taxi or subway🚇 The kitchen also has dishes. We also studied and cooked our own dishes😏There are two bathrooms in total. The hygiene is also very good~ I didn’t deliberately take a lot of beautiful photos 555 (my fault☹️) The store owner is also super nice😘😘😭Especially understand poor college students. They also provided us with free mahjong tables, audio equipment and other equipment😘The TV is very large and can be projected. It’s very comfortable to watch! ! ! It is also very convenient to order takeout🥹Just go downstairs and open the door to get it~ The safety factor is very good and very reassuring✊In short, it is a very pleasant homestay experience💕I will recommend it to friends in the future🫧

Living is very comfortable. Every time I come to Shanghai, I have to live in a garden house in the center of Shanghai. This is a place where I grew up when I was a child. Every time I go out to shoot, there will always be a new discovery. I just walk around and walk around. It is the same as when I was a child. It's not the same. This feeling of going home is great. The landlord sister's service is also very intimate and very good.

The transportation near the hotel is very convenient. It takes 10 minutes to walk from the subway station. There is a bus at the entrance of the hotel. There are also a lot of food to eat. It happened to be raining in those days. The smell in the room will feel damp and heavy. This is the only fly in the ointment. Others are good. The front desk staff is also very kind. The first night after the stay, because the humidity in the room is too heavy. The next day, the service staff will respond to the room smell. The front desk lady will help us change it immediately. After a room, please clean the aunt first and take us to see it. After confirming that we are satisfied, let us change to a new room now! The efficiency and attitude of the service made us feel very satisfied with this trip!

The hotel is cramped near the market. You might be fooled by the lobby and the receptionist's so small. Room's on the 3rd floor, needs to take the elevator. Room's clean and quite comfortable. The staff is also very friendly. For solo travelers, they are suitable to stay here because they are very close to tourist spots and most importantly close to Line 2, 12 and 13 metro stations. The HKRI is on foot.

It was a bit smaller than I expected. It was also in an alley, so it was a bit scary at night. However, the interior was clean, and the two air conditioners kept us cool. And most of all, the owner was so kind. 😭 I arrived early, but he let me check in and delayed my checkout by an hour. I ordered fruit delivery early in the morning, and he contacted me about the wrong delivery and made sure it arrived correctly. Even though we were foreigners and couldn't communicate, he patiently guided us for over 10 minutes. Thanks to him, we were able to enjoy some delicious fruit. 🥰🥰🥰 There's even a cat in front of the property. This is a place I'd love to stay again next time I'm in Shanghai. 😘

The bathroom situation was a bit grim – you basically had to stand in the shower to use the toilet, and to top it off, there were bugs, which was quite a fright. The room itself was genuinely tiny; there was no space for luggage. When I first saw the room, I thought it would be okay, but sleeping there at night felt really cramped and oppressive. Definitely better to book a larger room. They also had a price list for items stuck on the wall, and the prices were ridiculously high – first time I've ever seen that.
