Hotels in Jing'an District, Shanghai

Great location to explore different parts of the city. Many places for baozi arround, together with coffee joints, which we appreciated a lot. We enjoyed the cosy front tarrace in the evenings and the city buzz around. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned to our satisfactuon. In addition, we very appreciated free of charge water in the room. All in all, we would come again.

Our stay was really really good! First, we liked the design of the hotel: modern, cozy, minimalistic and elegant. All the amenities were provided, especially we were happy for the European plug changing into the type A one, really helped us charging our devices. Everything was clean and changed daily. We didn’t use the breakfast option, so cannot speculate on that specifically. Really THE BEST part was the people. Staff of the hotel is extremely friendly, helpful and sweet. Cleaning personnel was awesome, they provided us everything we needed and helped us clean. Front desk was AMAZING. My boyfriend got really sick and front desk girls helped us buy food delivery, thermometer, suitcases, everything we needed and cooperated very quickly. Thank you so much for all the stuff in the NOA hotel! We liked our location, because the Bund is really touristy and loud, but we wanted something more authentic and a little distanced from the touristic lifestyle and atmosphere. The only slight change might have been made with the laundry room and the driers: there are only 3 washing machines for the whole hotel and drying function wasn’t the best, but that’s really all. Everything else was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel!

Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel's overall decor is simple yet grand, and the common areas are clean and bright, making you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The room has excellent natural light and a sensible layout, with no strange odors. The bed is just the right firmness, and the pillows are very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, and the towels and bath towels were clean and odor-free. The soundproofing is good, so it was very quiet at night. The staff were gentle and polite, making the check-in to check-out process very smooth. Attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

The location is excellent, right next to Jing'an Temple subway station, making it very convenient for metro travel. It's close to a shopping district and easy to get food delivery. Despite being in a busy area, it's very quiet at night. Many active military personnel stay here, which adds a great sense of security and makes you feel safe. I extended my stay for another night in a king-size room in the main building; the 1.5-meter bed was a bit narrow. You can see Jing'an Temple right outside the window.

The facilities are complete, and there's a smart toilet, but the air conditioning is a bit too strong, blowing directly onto the bed, haha. The service is great, cleaning is prompt, and the location is also good. It's about a ten-minute walk to the subway station, and there's a convenience store and restaurants downstairs. It's also not far from Zhangyuan and the Sihang Warehouse. The downside, as mentioned in other reviews, is that there are no windows. I think it's also stated in the hotel's details page. So, once you're in the room, you have to turn on the AC, otherwise, it can feel a bit stuffy. I stayed for 3 nights and didn't find any mosquitoes, which is a big plus.

The combination of the Paramount, West Nanjing Road, and Jing'an Temple forms the unique charm of the 'Paramount Boutique Hotel' – a prime location that's convenient and steeped in old Shanghai 'klaber' charm (the old 'GDH' across the street also had this vibe). The rooms are spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Although the breakfast area isn't huge, with separate Chinese and Western sections, the variety is quite rich... A well-deserved five-star review! Thumbs up!!

very safe place for a solo traveller. it’s a decent size, room is comfy enough. just 10 mins walk from jing an station. staffs are all very friendly. stayed 4 nights here, the only bad experience was the final night where the room was cleaned but amenities were not topped up, even the floor mat was not given. but small matter, overall experience has been great. would definitely recommend this hotel! feedback for hotel, do check the speaker as it gets annoying that it keeps on notifying me that it’s low on battery when it’s fully plugged in

The room was very quiet with constant cool air conditioning. The housekeeping staff were exceptionally friendly, especially the auntie on the sixth floor who helped us change rooms – she provided excellent service. The gym is also a great plus for fitness enthusiasts; I spent a few rainy days there. A special mention to the restaurant's food, served from 7 AM to 9 AM; the ingredients were very fresh. I particularly enjoyed the Shanghai small wontons.

The environment is nice, the room is clean, and the front desk staff are very friendly. The location is easy to find, about a ten-minute walk from the subway station. I would definitely choose this place again next time. At this price point, not having an elevator is acceptable.
