The place was really good. They cleaned every day in our room. The breakfast was so delicious and we could experience traditional Chinese cuisine. Thank you so much for this pleasant experience. The only problem was in the shower (the showerhead didn’t work properly but it wasn’t a big deal)

My recent business trip stay here far exceeded my expectations, and the entire experience was incredibly pleasant and smooth. I absolutely must write a detailed review, specifically praising Chilly, the front desk staff member. I arrived at the hotel in the evening, dragging a large suitcase, weary from my journey. As soon as I reached the front desk, Chilly immediately stood up, smiled, and greeted me. Her manner was kind and courteous, without a hint of perfunctoriness. The check-in process was seamless and efficient; she was incredibly proficient, completing all registration and verification in just a few minutes. She also proactively confirmed my room type preference and meticulously informed me about the floor, elevator, and fire escape locations. During this time, I peppered her with a flurry of questions, including walking directions to Guanglan Road Metro Station, reliable business restaurants in the surrounding industrial park, hotel breakfast hours, gym and pool opening times, locations of new energy charging stations in the underground parking lot, and the shuttle bus schedule to Disneyland. She answered every question clearly, patiently, and thoroughly. She even thoughtfully reminded me that the park entrance can get congested during morning rush hour and provided me with a time-saving taxi waiting spot. Her attentiveness to detail was evident in every interaction. Midway through my stay, I unexpectedly needed to print some work documents and wasn't sure where to do so. After I consulted Chilly, she directly helped me print them. Her service response was incredibly fast, saving me a lot of trouble. After checking in, I called the front desk to inquire about adjusting the air conditioning. The response was equally swift; an engineer was promptly dispatched to my room. Throughout my stay, her service ensured that every request was met with a response, striking the perfect balance – enthusiastic but not overbearing, truly making me feel at home. Beyond the service, the hotel's hardware facilities are also impeccable. The lobby's decor is high-end and elegant, and the public areas are spotlessly clean, with every corner tidy and green plants tastefully arranged. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The soft furnishings are warm and gentle, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the pillows are just right. The soundproofing in the street-facing rooms is exceptional; I enjoyed a quiet night, completely undisturbed by external noise. The room amenities are comprehensive, with high-speed WiFi and smart appliances operating stably. The bathroom features a dry/wet separation, the toiletries are of good quality, and there's a constant and sufficient supply of 24-hour hot water. Housekeeping staff regularly tidies up and replaces consumables daily, ensuring the room remains consistently fresh and clean. The hotel's location is a significant advantage, adjacent to Guanglan Road Metro, with ample surrounding shopping malls and dining options, making it incredibly convenient for both business meetings and short leisure trips. The excellent facilities and clean, comfortable environment are already a big plus, but Chilly's professional and warm service at the front desk was the biggest surprise of this stay. Her thoughtful and considerate attention throughout added a lot of warmth to what could have been a tedious business trip. This hotel offers incredible value for money and has been added to my top choice list for future business trips to Zhangjiang. I will definitely choose Metropolo again when I return to Pudong, and I sincerely recommend it to anyone traveling to this area!

Traveling with a child, the front desk thoughtfully prepared kids' toiletries and small toys. The room fridge also had complimentary snacks and drinks, which made my child super happy! The rooms all have large, bright, and dry floor-to-ceiling windows. Downstairs, there's a McDonald's and a Chinese fast food restaurant, making dining convenient, and the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful! Highly recommend!

When traveling, the last thing you want are unexpected issues, and this stay was completely smooth. No unpleasant surprises, just a comfortable experience. I needed to visit the university hospital multiple times over several days, and after comparing various options, this place offered the best value for money. The room wasn't large, and the facilities were basic, but they met all my essential needs. The bedding was very comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and the drainage was quick. There were plenty of power outlets, conveniently located. Housekeeping was provided daily, and even the nooks and crannies were spotless. The location is excellent, with restaurants, department stores, and pharmacies all nearby. The staff didn't pester me for good reviews, which was a plus. Areas for improvement include the cleanliness of the window glass and the kettle. Overall, for the price of just over 200, this stay offered a fitting experience.

The hotel facilities are complete and brand new. The bathroom and bedding are of excellent quality, the air conditioning and water pressure in the bathroom are stable, and the lighting is comfortably laid out. The storage and charging facilities are well-equipped, making for a very pleasant stay.

On a business trip near Zhangjiang, I chose to stay at the Evergreen Laurel Hotel. The hotel is conveniently located, just 100 meters from Jinke Road Station on Metro Line 2, a 2-minute walk away. Nearby are Huizhi International Plaza and Changtai Plaza, making dining and shopping very convenient. The room was spacious and tidy, clean and hygienic, and the staff were warm, polite, professional, and attentive. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again next time.

I chose this hotel because it's close to my client. Downstairs, there are plenty of options like breakfast spots, snacks, late-night food, fruit stalls, and convenience stores, which is really handy. I even got a room upgrade when I checked in. The hotel feels very new, and the bedding was super comfortable. They also helped me with a late check-out since I hadn't finished my work, which I really appreciate!

The room was clean and had a unique layout. The best part was its proximity to Zhangjiang Court, just a 100-meter walk, which was very convenient for my business there. The front desk staff was incredibly warm and even offered a free room upgrade. My only minor gripe is the lack of a towel rack next to the sink.

To get early access to Disney with my sister, I decided to stay overnight in Shanghai to avoid an early morning commute. I had initially booked a hotel, but then stumbled upon this hostel, which looked really appealing. Since I'd never experienced a hostel before, I canceled the hotel and booked this instead. I showered at home beforehand and arrived around 11 PM, leaving at 6 AM the next day. When I entered my room, three people had already checked in and were in the lower bunks, so I had to take the top bunk. Climbing up was a bit difficult for me, and since it was late and dark, I was a little scared of falling. There's a light strip with a switch and an outlet by the bed, which is very convenient. You have to make your own bed with sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers. I didn't want to disturb anyone, so I just wrapped myself in the duvet cover and went to sleep. The air conditioning was very warm, so I didn't need a blanket. Someone was snoring, but it wasn't too loud. I had brought earplugs and an eye mask but didn't even use them and still fell asleep. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic. They answered my questions quickly via WeChat before I arrived. Because I was going to Disney, I was dressed in a Lolita style, and my speaking voice is rather sweet, so the front desk staff even asked if I was an adult, haha! The first floor really feels like a charming cafe. Overall, I had a great experience. I never imagined I could spend a night for just a few dozen yuan – it was practically pocket change compared to a taxi fare. The value for money is incredible! If I go to Disney again, I would definitely consider staying here. It really opened up a whole new world for me.
