hhhhhan_iThis hotel offers truly excellent service and quality! I rarely write hotel reviews, but this time I really have to give them a shout-out! I arrived quite early on the day of check-in, and since my booked one-bedroom suite wasn't available, the staff kindly upgraded me to a terrace suite for free. That was so sweet! The hotel perfectly embodies an elegant, old-school French charm – the room colors and textures all feel very luxurious. And the best part is! When you order takeout, staff will deliver it directly to your door, and super fast too! It's difficult to park right in front of the hotel, so you have to go across the street to get picked up. I want to especially thank Liu Xiangwen, a staff member, for helping me carry my luggage all the way. He was incredibly thoughtful!

JuxiaoI stayed for two nights, and the location is unbeatable – super convenient for strolling down Nanjing Road, dining, and shopping. Once, after washing clothes, I realized I had no hangers, so I just grabbed a few from the front desk. The cleaning staff tidied up the common areas every day, and the hot water supply was stable. There were enough power outlets by the beds. The only minor issue was occasional footsteps in the hallway, but drawing the curtain pretty much blocked it out. If you're on a budget and visiting Shanghai, this place is definitely worth considering. I compared several places, and when I left my umbrella behind on the subway, the front desk had kept it safe for me when I returned. Check-in was efficient, and they briefly went over the important points. The bedding was fresh and had no odd smells. You can also get hot water in the common area. You can't expect a hostel to be exactly like a hotel, but for this location and price, it truly exceeded my expectations.

Guest UserExtremely satisfied! The hotel is right next to Nanjing Pedestrian Street. It's about 300 meters to the subway station and around 1000 meters to the Bund, which is super convenient. The staff were also excellent! Next time I'm in Shanghai for class, I'll definitely stay here again.

Guest UserThe room was spacious, but it's clear it hasn't been renovated in a while. The bed, however, was very comfortable and clean. My main complaint is that there were clumps of hair stuck to the bathroom floor. I think it might be because of the dark-colored tiles, making it hard for housekeeping to spot them. I didn't mention it to my friend, otherwise, she definitely would have thrown a fit.

Guest UserThis was my second stay at this hotel, and I’m just as happy with it as the first time. The hotel is very comfortable and is located in the heart of the Bund, close to shopping malls and many attractions, making it a great choice for shopping and sightseeing.
I usually stay here for only one or two nights, but the location and convenience keep bringing me back. Getting around is very easy. The hotel is well connected to public transportation, and traveling from the airport is convenient. You can reach it by metro with only one transfer (or even a direct line from some airport routes), making the journey simple and hassle-free.
I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Shanghai.

First, the good points: The washing machine and dryer were super convenient, allowing us to wash our clothes during our trip – everything felt clean and tidy! It rained the day we arrived, so we were stuck inside, but the kids had a blast playing house on both floors. It's about a six-minute walk to the metro station, which is decent. The Bund is just a ten-minute walk away, perfect for admiring the historic architecture and the Oriental Pearl Tower, and experiencing the two different worlds along the Huangpu River. If you turn left out of the hotel and walk one block, you'll find a breakfast spot selling buns, porridge, and eggs at market prices. Now for the downsides: Don't expect much in the way of room service or friendly smiles from the staff.

I had a fantastic experience staying at the [Shanghai Yijun Hotel] during my trip to Shanghai! The location is absolutely perfect; the subway entrance is right outside, making it just a few stops to popular spots like Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and Chenghuang Temple. After a long day of sightseeing, it was wonderful to come back to a spotlessly clean room with a meticulously made bed. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with a smile whenever we entered or left. The price was very reasonable, and given the excellent service and cleanliness, it offers truly amazing value for money!

Great location but the male staff not so helpful upon check in. The female staff next morning is better. Room very basic and just ok...not as represented in the booking app. It's different and not as nice
