I had a wonderful stay at Opartment Hotel.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
I originally booked a 5-night stay, and during my second booking, they kindly upgraded us to a bigger and better room that came with a spacious living area.
This made a huge difference, especially since I was traveling with kids—it was very comfortable and convenient for our family.
The upgraded room also included a washing machine and dryer, which was extremely helpful and made our stay feel even more like home.
What truly stood out was their thoughtful gesture for our wedding anniversary.
The hotel prepared a cake for us, which was such a lovely surprise and made our celebration extra special.
Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay.
I truly appreciate the excellent service and would highly recommend Opartment Hotel to anyone, especially families.

Anonymous UserStayed at Yunjian for two nights, and honestly, there's nothing to complain about. The location is absolutely fantastic; you can easily walk to the Bund, and the subway is close by too. The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly functional. The bedding was clean, and the pillows were just the right height. A big plus was how quickly the shower water heated up.

Anonymous UserI'm not usually one to write reviews, especially bad ones, but a few days after returning from Shanghai, I felt compelled to share my experience. Not only to be responsible to fellow travelers considering this hotel but also in the hope that the hotel can improve its management and operations.
I honestly don't know how to rate this hotel. I chose it because it was on the high-end list on Ctrip for Shanghai. I stayed here for my last three days in Shanghai, on the sixth floor.
The housekeeping service truly shocked me. On the second day, housekeeping cleaned my room and left a blue cleaning cloth right in my room, piled with my clothes. My clothes, which were originally on the bed, were then placed on a chair along with her dirty cloth. On the third day, due to a flight change, I extended my stay. It was only when I went to pack my clothes that I discovered they were wet and smelly. Even more frightening, on the afternoon of the third day, while I was resting in my room, a housekeeper just walked right in! It scared the living daylights out of me. I reported it to the front desk that day, and their attitude was good, but no solution or compensation was offered, even by the time I checked out. However, I do have to commend the front desk for their initial reaction and immediate handling of the situation (though it was only initial handling, as there was no follow-up whatsoever).
There was one male staff member with glasses who had a very good attitude. He was the one who checked me in on the first day, upgraded my room, and even helped with my luggage. Also, on the third day, I used the laundry room. When I went to retrieve my clothes in the evening, they were missing. I contacted the front desk, and they said a foreign guest had taken them... At that time, only my clothes were in that washing machine, no one else's. I'm not going to delve into the truthfulness of that. Later, they said they'd put them outside my room. I went out to eat and when I came back, they weren't there. Then another front desk staff member came up and said they didn't know who put them outside another room.
Regarding the housekeeping issue, they said they would provide feedback immediately, that the housekeeper would apologize, and that there would be various compensations, but it was all just talk. In the end, there was no result. As for my lost laundry, they said the lobby would give me coffee when I checked out, which also never happened. When people travel, they're not looking for trivial things, but being given a perfunctory attitude without any follow-up on issues is truly disheartening.
In summary, it's a very disorganized operation. The young staff at the front desk all have good attitudes, but the hotel's operations are completely chaotic. I don't understand what hotel management is thinking?

First, the good points: The washing machine and dryer were super convenient, allowing us to wash our clothes during our trip – everything felt clean and tidy! It rained the day we arrived, so we were stuck inside, but the kids had a blast playing house on both floors. It's about a six-minute walk to the metro station, which is decent. The Bund is just a ten-minute walk away, perfect for admiring the historic architecture and the Oriental Pearl Tower, and experiencing the two different worlds along the Huangpu River. If you turn left out of the hotel and walk one block, you'll find a breakfast spot selling buns, porridge, and eggs at market prices. Now for the downsides: Don't expect much in the way of room service or friendly smiles from the staff.

I found the location from Amaps with chinese writing, and then my room is up at 3rd floor, without elevator, for a room with 2 bed (1 bunkbed) is too small, tiny, I can't open my luggage, the heater is from AC directly touch my bed (upper bunk)
So the lower bed is empty but messy, then I took the upper bed, the next say I put my medicine on my bed, I didn't ask my room to be cleaned alright, but they cleaned it anyway, just my bed (the upper bed), the lower bed they didn't tidy it up (maybe they thought I used the lower bed), when I came back to my room my medicine is gone (my upper bed is tidy), I ask the receptionist and they asked the cleaner uncle & aunty but they said they didn't know
I've searched everywhere in my belonging even on trash can, I didn't find it, unfortunately though

I had a fantastic experience staying at the [Shanghai Yijun Hotel] during my trip to Shanghai! The location is absolutely perfect; the subway entrance is right outside, making it just a few stops to popular spots like Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and Chenghuang Temple. After a long day of sightseeing, it was wonderful to come back to a spotlessly clean room with a meticulously made bed. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with a smile whenever we entered or left. The price was very reasonable, and given the excellent service and cleanliness, it offers truly amazing value for money!
