Hotels in Hongqiao District, Shanghai

I watched a late movie at MixC World, so I decided to book a night at an Atour hotel nearby. Both the ground floor and third-floor lobbies are really well-designed. I especially loved how the lobby's three walls are made of beautifully designed bookshelves that form the Atour logo – very cool! The front desk staff were very welcoming at check-in. Although my room was only on the 5th floor, it was incredibly spacious with high ceilings, and the amenities were super comprehensive. The toilet and shower were separate, which was great, and it was very quiet. They even offer free congee and snacks at night, which is a really thoughtful touch. Breakfast had a fantastic variety and tasted delicious – highly recommend! It's also super close to Longbai Xincun Station on Line 10, which is very convenient.

Quite close to the metro station and to shopping mall area. Clean, big room, comfy bed, sofa etc. The only problem was that the 5G signal was weak in my room, but WiFi was quite fast. Also: washing machine is only available if you make a booking for at least a month worth of stay, so be careful when booking. It's weird, cause the washing machine is right there in the room, but the note attached to it says not to use it, so I didn't, even though the room description on trip.com says the washing machine is usable. I booked an option without a window, but was surprised to actually have a window with a so-so view. Maybe if you book the same option as me you won't get a window, so be careful.

This is probably my fourth time staying here, and it's always my first choice whenever I visit Shanghai. The experience was great as usual. The front desk staff were warm and attentive; when I realized the air conditioning was blowing directly on me in the middle of the night and making me uncomfortable, they immediately helped me switch to a new room. The gym is well-equipped and clean, and breakfast was quite good. One morning, the air conditioning in the restaurant seemed to be broken, and it was very hot on the top floor, which affected the dining experience, but overall it was still acceptable. I'll definitely come back next time!

The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite Gubei No. 1 and not far from Hongqiao Hub, making transportation very convenient. There are also many shopping malls nearby. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean, and there's a 24-hour gym and pool available for workouts. Last time I stayed, I encountered a few issues, but Judy Chen professionally and enthusiastically helped resolve them. This stay, everything was well-arranged, making me feel right at home. The hotel breakfast was also great, with a wide variety of options. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time.

The guest rooms maintain high hygiene standards, with diligent daily cleaning – floors, tables, and bathrooms were spotless. The rooms are well-lit and spacious, feeling open and airy. All facilities are well-maintained, the internet is stable, the bathroom water pressure is good, and all basic amenities are readily available. The hotel's special services were the biggest highlight of our trip. The free city day tour saved us a lot of hassle; we simply followed the bus to visit several iconic Shanghai landmarks, avoiding the trouble of planning our own route. If you plan to go to Disneyland, you can book the hotel's free shuttle, which directly reduces travel costs. The self-service laundry room is free to use, making it easy to wash clothes during multi-day trips. The staff were attentive and consistently friendly. Check-in and shuttle booking processes were simple and clear, and any questions were quickly answered. The hotel is close to the subway, making it very convenient for daily outings and shopping. The soundproofing in the rooms was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's rest. Whether you're making a short trip to see city attractions or heading to Disneyland, this hotel is a great base. With its rich amenities, excellent hygiene, and attentive service, I've already recommended it to friends planning to visit Shanghai.

I often choose Hanting hotels because they are standardized, clean, and have spacious, bright rooms with good soundproofing. It's not far from Metro Line 2, about a 10-minute walk. The hotel is in a very quiet location, without any noisy hustle and bustle around. I booked for two nights and had excellent sleep quality. It's convenient for getting around to all the attractions and also close to the high-speed rail station. I'll definitely choose this Hanting branch again when I visit Shanghai in the future. The staff member who checked me in even granted me a late check-out, which I really appreciate!

We checked in around 10 PM on September 9th. The two young men at the front desk were incredibly patient and helpful, assisting us with check-in without showing any signs of fatigue. We extended our stay the next day, but due to a change in our travel plans, a young lady at the front desk helped me with the refund through the platform. The luggage storage was secured with a combination lock, which was safe and reassuring. When I returned to retrieve my luggage, the front desk staff offered me water. When I was carrying three suitcases, they proactively asked if I needed any help… It was one of the most heartwarming memories of my trip to Shanghai. The room was clean, with a separate shower and toilet area. The twin room had two desks, perfect for business travelers. I overslept today and missed breakfast; see you next time!

The check-in staff was very cold and uncommunicative, operating like robots with no expression. When checking out, a lady who seemed to be a manager (she was also there during our previous stay, so she seemed very experienced) enthusiastically asked about our stay experience and repeatedly urged us to leave a good review. Due to work, we frequently stay at this hotel. Honestly, there are no issues with the infrastructure here; it's just the service. Our foreign managers always complain about it. Personally, I feel this hotel is only suitable for short business trips where you leave early and come back late, only eating breakfast at the hotel and not using any other services. It's not suitable for family or friend trips, or for leisure travel that requires long-term enjoyment of hotel services.

My only minor complaint is that the air conditioning was a bit too cold. Overall, it's a great choice for business travelers.
