Hotels in Dishui Lake and Lin'Gang Area, Shanghai

First, let me talk about what exceeded my expectations: I booked a standard king room, but when I got to the room, I found out the front desk had upgraded me to an open-plan suite. It was spacious, with a large bathroom, a big bathtub, dual showers, and a double vanity – pure bliss! The best part was having two TVs, one for the baby and one for the adults, so we could watch whatever we wanted without disturbing each other. Next, other positives: I found the front desk staff to be very enthusiastic and helpful. They clearly explained all the procedures and patiently answered questions. You can also add the hotel's concierge on WeChat to communicate any issues. We received complimentary afternoon tea with two drinks, three pastries/desserts, and a fruit platter. The hotel is close to Snow World and Water World, making it convenient to go back and forth. The breakfast on the second floor was also quite rich, but there were indeed a lot of guests. I went down at 8 AM and didn't have to queue, but when I finished and left, there was already a line. When I checked out at 9:30 AM and passed by in the elevator, I still saw people queuing for breakfast. The espresso coffee machine in the room was compact and easy to use; it made me want to buy one myself! Finally, the drawbacks: there were too few reception counters in the lobby on the first floor. I arrived at 11:30 AM on a Saturday, and there was a very long queue, so it took a long time to check in. The complimentary afternoon tea cakes were just so-so in taste; they could be improved. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Haichang Ocean Park with our child, and it was a fantastic experience! The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was quiet. The staff were thoughtful and attentive; they even provided a separate children's toiletries set when they saw we had a child. The hotel's location is convenient for getting to the park. The bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with plenty of hot water. Our child slept really well, which made our trip even better. Highly recommend for family travel!

It's in very convenient place.You can get Malls,super market and bus to go to metro station easily. The behaviour of the staffs were really good. They have tried to serve at their best,especially the young man at the reception.

The check-in experience was great. The facilities were complete, and both the soundproofing and natural light were good. The Holiday Inn Shanghai Dishui Lake is perfectly situated on the west side of Dishui Lake in Lingang. From the east-facing rooms, you can enjoy park views and see the twin China Bank towers. There's a bit of road noise from traffic on the street. The underground parking facilities are a bit dated, but the service is excellent and breakfast is good. It wasn't too crowded on Tuesday and Wednesday during the week. We received a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe twin room, and the welcome fruit and drink vouchers were a nice touch. Overall, it was a very good stay.

The hotel provided a complimentary cup of hand-ground coffee or a hand-brewed beverage, which was delicious! Perfect for a business trip to Lin Hong! Suitable for business travelers, great environment, highly recommended! The surrounding area is quiet, and there's someone to greet guests upon check-in at night; the hotel is reputable.

Extremely satisfied! The Family Suite No. 11 in the East Wing was incredibly nice, a pleasant surprise (see photos). The hotel lobby was actually quite average, which was a little disappointing, but the room completely changed my perception – it felt like an instant upgrade to a luxury experience ☺️. The room offered a 270-degree view: south-facing with water features and greenery, west-facing with views of Haichang Ocean Park, and north-facing towards Yaoxue. The room was spacious, the facilities were comfortable, and the huge tatami mat was my favorite. First day at Haichang, second day at Yaoxue – perfect! I'm already planning a second visit just for the hotel, to make up for missing out on skiing and the planetarium (which I couldn't book before); I also missed the Dishui Lake light show (reportedly on weekends) and watching the Haichang fireworks from the tatami (assuming a weekend booking)…

I traveled with my colleagues. I chose this place for a long time. It was a new store just opened. I saw the pictures of the platform. I found that the real thing and the photos were basically the same. This is a plus point ～. The room facilities are brand new, the two beds are quite spacious and the table is big enough. The mattress is very comfortable to sleep, and you can relax after a tired day back to the hotel. The bathroom is a smart toilet, the shower room has a clothesline, it is very convenient to dry the clothes, the hot water is also very fast, and it is convenient to eat and travel around. The small disadvantage is that the socket location is not in the middle, and it is not convenient for two people to charge. Overall, the new store hardware is online, the price is good, and my colleagues feel comfortable living. I will give priority to this one later.

The location is fantastic, just over a kilometer from the aquarium, so a quick taxi ride gets you there in minutes – super convenient for getting around. The value for money is incredible; the price is great, and the rooms are spotless. They even provide disposable bath towels and face towels, showing great attention to hygiene. Downstairs, there are tons of shops and all kinds of restaurants, so you don't have to go far for a meal. The room itself was tidy and comfortable with all the amenities you need. For a family trip with kids, staying here saved us so much time and effort. The overall experience exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Lingang. Highly recommended!
