"The hotel's location is fantastic; most popular attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill Park and Diecai Mountain are within walking distance. As for the hotel's ambiance, it's very much in a traditional Chinese style. On the first floor, they offer cultural and creative handicraft activities, including intangible cultural heritage experiences, which you can book and participate in – it's a superb experience! You can also try their ethnic costume photography; they provide 3 complimentary photos, and there's a good variety of outfits, including Miao and Zhuang styles. We stayed in a lake view room, which was incredibly spacious with unobstructed views. Enjoying tea while admiring the night scenery in the evening was truly delightful. I have to praise the hotel's breakfast – it was delicious! I tried several dishes, and none of them disappointed. Highlights included Guilin rice noodles (definitely try the dry-mixed version!), bamboo shoots, chicken soup, and steamed eggs. They offer both Chinese and Western options. The best part is that the restaurant also has lake views – where else can you find such great value for money? Finally, regarding the service: initially, we were assigned a room at the end of the corridor which we weren't completely satisfied with. We spoke to the front desk, and they very smoothly changed our room and even gave us an upgrade. So, overall, if I come to Guilin again for tourism or business, this will definitely be my first choice for accommodation!"

"This stay experience is super satisfying! Although it is a large flow of people during the May Day holiday, the overall sanitation of the hotel is particularly in place, and the whole house is cleaned. The room is spacious and bright, and you can smell a faint fragrance as soon as you enter the door. The lighting is also very good, I can wake up in the morning and drive to the sunrise 🌅 The staff service attitude is also very good, warm and thoughtful and very kind. Close to the station, the price is also very high, I will choose this next time I come, I recommend it ～"

Zzeng1021After checking in, we went for a walk and discovered that the hotel is right next to Yangshuo Park, which has beautiful scenery. There's a large parking lot directly in front of the hotel, making it very convenient to come and go; you can park right at the entrance. The hotel is backed by mountains, and the soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. We booked two rooms, and both my parents and I slept very well. The breakfast was also plentiful with a good variety of options. It's only about a 400-500 meter walk to West Street, and the area around the hotel is very lively. Oh, and the oranges at afternoon tea – while they didn't look great, they were incredibly sweet! I had several. I highly recommend staying here; it was a great experience in all aspects.

The Pushi Guibei Fusion restaurant offers a 10% discount: The dishes were quite good and had a distinct local flavor. The hotel also has electric scooters for rent, which makes getting around very convenient.

SShCierI arrived around 6 PM, and the front desk staff were very friendly. They proactively upgraded me to a large family suite, which was great since I was traveling alone.
The hotel room offered fantastic views right from the window, and both the room and the rooftop terrace were perfect for taking photos.
It's only a few minutes from Gongnong Bridge, making it super convenient for catching the sunset and taking bamboo raft rides.
Breakfast was quite simple, but they had freshly made noodles. The afternoon tea included a biscuit that was a bit hard but very fragrant, and there were evening desserts too.

Many areas feature deliberate 'white space' rather than being overly cluttered, which really shows the owner's genuine dedication. I absolutely love it. I'd been feeling quite restless during my stay in Yangshuo, but stepping into the hotel room immediately brought a sense of calm. I have to commend the designer for all the clever little touches. The room offers a 270-degree view, showcasing both mountain scenery and the beautiful surrounding landscapes.
The first floor boasts a swimming pool, hot springs, and a restaurant, while the rooftop has a bar with excellent sound system. You could easily spend a good amount of time relaxing here, enjoying the hotel's amenities without feeling the need to rush out for sightseeing.

GGuest UserFor those traveling by car, the location is very convenient as you don't have to navigate through the busy city center. Songcheng Romance Park is right across the street, and there's a whole street of restaurants. The hotel has a kids' play area, which looks exactly like the pictures. The front desk staff were very friendly, and they even offer car rental services. Overall, I was very satisfied. The room had some great touches like a portable makeup mirror, a heated towel rack, and a hairdryer – excellent attention to detail! The breakfast selection was a bit limited, but the taste was good. However, there were some design flaws: the bathroom faucet sprayed water everywhere when in use, and the smart toilet wasn't very smart, making it quite useless. In the shower, only the rain shower mode worked; in our suite, neither of the two showers had a functioning handheld shower mode. I hope they can improve these aspects. If you're traveling during the off-season, it offers great value for money. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

Both breakfast and dinner at the hotel were incredibly rich and delicious, and service requests were met promptly. They were almost always able to accommodate personalized requests, and the anniversary cake was of excellent quality, which was very touching. However, the room decor was simple, and the facilities were dated. There was mold growing in the bathroom corners, no bathtub or smart toilet, and the floors were discolored. The afternoon tea was a bit basic, but the staff were proactive and enthusiastic with their service. We even received a parting gift, for which we are very grateful! 🙏 Wishing them all the best for the future.

GGuest UserHonestly, this is by far the most satisfying and best value-for-money hotel I've ever stayed at – definitely a top rating! I came alone during the off-season, so the value was fantastic. The hotel's facilities are also excellent. There's a beautiful observation deck on the eighth floor, and the hotel staff thoughtfully set up some photo spots. The weather here is indeed quite hot and humid, but there's a small swimming pool on the second floor. If you're staying at the hotel, you can take a dip there to escape the heat. The hotel also offers simple breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I didn't get to see the lunch or dinner options as I mostly ate out, but the breakfast spread is very comprehensive. In the restaurant, there's a self-service station for drinks and water, which is super convenient for someone like me who only drinks hot water. After check-in, the front desk even sends a lot of local travel tips and information via WeChat, which is incredibly thoughtful. The room is beautiful, and I was lucky enough to be assigned a room with a stunning mountain view right outside the window. Waking up to the chirping of birds in the morning made for a wonderful start to the day. If you're looking to explore this area or stay for an extended period, I highly recommend choosing this hotel – it's truly excellent!

GGuest UserRight by the Li River, with Guanlian Pier just downstairs, and West Street a few minutes' walk away – it's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. Renting a scooter to explore the Ten-Mile Gallery and Yulong River was super convenient, making travel a breeze. I booked a river-view room, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows framed the Li River landscape perfectly, like a painting! Watching the sunrise from bed and enjoying the sunset in the evening created an incredible atmosphere.
The网红 (internet-famous) Sky Mirror on the 9th floor is a must-visit! It offers an unobstructed 270° panoramic view of the Li River and the karst peaks – every shot looks like it's from a magazine.
Looks, location, comfort, and value for money – this place has it all! If you're coming to Yangshuo, just pick this hotel blindly. I stayed here and now I just want to keep coming back! Next time I'm in Yangshuo, I'll definitely stay at Shixi Tianyue again! Highly recommend! 👍

GGuest UserTo be honest, I later stayed at another Destination Expert hotel that was only a few tens of yuan more expensive, but it was much larger. I booked this one because I saw its high ratings and numerous bookings on the platform. Overall, I found it to be just average, whether it was the breakfast, room decor, or room size. The deluxe twin room faced the street, so the view wasn't great. Since the price was only slightly cheaper, I guess I can't expect too much. Although customer service promised a refund for a good review, I feel obligated to be fair to future guests. If you have high standards, don't book the deluxe twin; try other better rooms instead.

The river-view room offered an amazing vista, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlooking the breathtaking Li River scenery. Waking up to the misty morning view felt like stepping into a painting – absolutely enchanting. Although the hotel has been open for many years, it's exceptionally well-maintained, exuding an elegant charm without feeling dated, truly showcasing the quality of a seasoned five-star establishment. I was pleasantly surprised to encounter peacocks on the grounds and even got to see one display its stunning feathers up close – it was both graceful and therapeutic. The breakfast is arguably the best among hotels in Guilin; it boasts a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options, with authentic freshly made Guilin rice noodles and quick replenishment of fresh items. The service was attentive and thoughtful throughout, making my entire stay comfortable and hassle-free. This is definitely a must-stay when visiting Guilin; I'll choose it again on my next trip!
