The hotel's location right by the Li River is quite peaceful, which I prefer over the noisy West Street area since I'm a light sleeper. I really appreciate that the front desk upgraded my room type. It's not far from West Street pedestrian street either, offering a quiet escape while still being convenient, almost like being on a backstreet in the countryside. The hotel also has its own restaurant where I ate both my meals; the food was delicious and good value for money, plus guests get a 10% discount. After dinner, a stroll along the river is lovely and relaxing, with locals also out for walks. You can get some great photos of the river and mountain views from the hotel's rooftop. They also offer self-service laundry and drying, which is super handy given how rainy and humid the weather can be here. All the staff, including housekeeping and restaurant servers, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel is conveniently located, not far from all the attractions. The room was clean and well-appointed, showing great attention to detail – they even thought of a place to hang clothes! We also enjoyed the afternoon tea and the complimentary dessert before bed. The rooftop photo spot is absolutely beautiful and perfect for pictures! The owner's beer fish dish is also highly recommended. The front desk service was excellent, and they even gave us a small gift when we checked out. The room was clean, comfortable, and came with a lovely balcony offering serene mountain views—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Daily housekeeping kept everything spotless, and all the basic amenities were thoughtfully provided. One of the highlights was the coffee shop conveniently located right downstairs—ideal for a morning pick-me-up or a relaxing afternoon break. But what truly made the stay special was the owner. She speaks fluent English, so communication was smooth and easy. As someone who doesn’t plan much in advance, I found her local guidance absolutely invaluable. She mapped out routes and recommended hidden gems that made my trip unforgettable. She’s also a talented painter! The beautiful cards you’ll spot at the reception desk or in the bathroom are her own hand-drawn creations—such a lovely personal touch that adds character to the place. If you’re a cat enthusiast, prepare to be delighted—they have a whole feline family that adds a warm, homey vibe to the property. 🐱 A minor note: the room’s proximity to the main road means it can get a bit noisy in the evenings or early mornings. Personally, it didn’t bother me much—after a full day riding the scooter I rented from them for just 30 RMB, I slept like a baby. Also worth mentioning: this is the perfect spot for travelers who prefer peace and quiet over nightlife. It’s close enough to the action for convenience, but far enough to enjoy restful evenings. Overall, this spot is a fantastic blend of comfort, convenience, and character. Highly recommended for laid-back travelers, art lovers, and cat fans alike!

Stayed at a Garden Hotel in Yangshuo before and it was pretty good. This time, I brought my child to the city and chose a Garden Hotel again. It's very close to the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, and easy to drive to. The hotel has EV charging stations, and the view outside the hotel is nice. The rice noodle shop downstairs isn't a网红 (internet-famous spot), but I personally think it's better than other chain stores. The front desk gave us a free room upgrade, and they even gave my child a small gift before we left. The service was prompt and responsive, and the cleaning staff were also very enthusiastic. Overall, the accommodation, food, and transportation were all quite good.

My good reviews are always written willingly, hahaha~ Alright, now that you've read my first sentence, you can check out my objective review. This trip was just my husband and I, no kids, but I'm really looking forward to bringing our son next time~ The hotel is incredibly kid-friendly~ They have a starry sky pool, a kids' play area, and the restaurant food is very clean. Right outside is the Shui'erdi Pier, which is where the bamboo raft drift for the Yulong River's essence section departs. The hotel's hardware, software, decor, and cleanliness are all five-star, absolutely nothing to complain about. The service attitude is incredibly good, truly up to five-star hotel standards, I'm not kidding, especially since I've stayed at Lux and can compare~ The rooftop cafe is perfect for photos~ The afternoon tea 🫖 is nice! Every time we returned to the hotel, the front desk would warmly greet us, asking if we were tired or where we'd been. The front desk小姐姐 (young lady) even gave me mosquito repellent spray, a small bag, and a souvenir, I was so touched. We slept wonderfully at night, the hotel's soundproofing is excellent. Compared to the Muyu we stayed at the day before, across from the Romance Park, for a similar price, Mengyuan is heavenly, and Muyu is on the ground. Muyu's 1000+ yuan room only offered a view of a massive construction site, which was truly speechless. The hotel can help book tickets, and they're much cheaper. The hotel also offers electric scooter rentals 🛵 which is very convenient~ It's lovely to ride to West Street or Kang Kang Tangshui Shop for some dessert in the evening. Yangshuo's beautiful scenery was made even more special by the hotel. A perfect trip heals all stress and anxiety~ Thank you, Mengyuan, for giving my husband and me a perfect romantic getaway. We will definitely bring our child next time~ I'll recommend it to all my friends. ♥️ If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the breakfast; it could be slightly better.

🏔️😱 Don’t know how it was possible, but this hotel was even more beautiful in real life than the photos. Built inside a renovated historic sugar factory, Yangshuo Sugar House combines the refined aesthetics of the mountain landscape with historical architectural elegance. ✨ 🚙🌾 The hotel offers various free and at-cost activities you can book through their concierge. We wanted to go see the Longji Rice Steps during our stay, which is about an 2.5 hour drive away from Yangshuo by car. I messaged the hotel the day before we arrived and they were able to arrange a private driver to take us there and back over an 8 hour trip. Mr. Qin was amazing and very kind! He took us directly to buy the tickets and then drove us to the entrance point of the cable car. There was pretty extreme rain on the way back and he got us down the mountain very efficiently. It was an extremely memorable day which was only made possible by the hotel’s extraordinary attentive drivers and diligent concierge staff. ⭐️ 🍴The room comes with a daily buffet breakfast, free soft drinks, and fruit. The hotel restaurant is good, but breakfast is really where the food shines. So many delicious options to choose from, and there was adorable panda shaped buns 🐼 📸 The hotel also offers free travel photography on the premises, which takes about 30~ minutes and you receive 5 free photos, with additional available to purchase at 50 yuan. It was fun and very efficient! 🌸 Overall, a major highlight of our China trip & we wish we had stayed longer. Thank you again!

The room was large and spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a mountain view as soon as you open the curtains. They even upgraded us for free to a twin-bed family room. The breakfast was delicious, and the evening dessert drink was good too. Parking was convenient, with a huge free parking lot right at the entrance! I'll definitely stay here again next time.

The room offered direct views of Yangshuo's mountains and rivers. Soaking in the pool, enjoying snacks, and admiring the scenery—it was truly luxurious!

Guilin doesn't have a lot of places to explore. I've stayed near the Two Rivers and Four Lakes before, but the hotels there weren't very clean and not suitable for kids. The Shangri-La is a short taxi ride from Elephant Trunk Hill, about 10 yuan for the starting fare, and the surroundings are beautiful. My child, Paopao, had a great time playing. The kids were very happy staying here these past few days. It was a very satisfying trip.

This hotel may seem unassuming, but it surprisingly features a small pool and a viewing platform with great views of the surroundings. The platform even has a cute setup perfect for taking photos. The breakfast buffet was quite generous, and the first-floor restaurant offered a complimentary late-night dessert buffet. We stayed in a family room with a 1.5m single bed and a 1.8m double bed, and it was decorated very warmly. You can rent electric scooters for 30 or 40 yuan per day, just return them before 11 PM. The staff, from the front desk to the cleaning ladies, were all very enthusiastic, patient, and thoughtful.
