The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of the lake and mountains – beautiful green waters and hills during the day, and at night, the pagoda lights reflecting on the lake create an incredible atmosphere. The New Chinese-style room is clean and well-equipped. The rooftop restaurant offers a superb view, and it's within walking distance to Elephant Trunk Hill and the pedestrian street. Overall, it's nestled by the mountains and water, making it the top choice for scenic accommodation when visiting Guilin. The service was also excellent; when I had a fever and felt cold, the front desk thoughtfully brought me extra blankets and a heater."

GGuest UserAn absolutely amazing stay! It was pouring rain when we arrived in Guilin, and our taxi driver mistakenly took us to a different hotel. The staff there were so thoughtful and drove us directly to Xiangshan Youyue. Upon arrival, seeing we had children and elderly with us, the hotel staff immediately helped with our luggage and upgraded our room for free. The value for money is truly outstanding. The hotel is perfect for photos and exploring, whether it's rainy or sunny. All the staff members greet guests politely. The laundry and drying facilities are super convenient, and if you don't pick up your clothes promptly, they even thoughtfully fold and package them – the attention to detail is excellent. The hallway and restaurant staff are incredibly meticulous with their cleaning. The front desk lady enthusiastically recommended local rice noodles, and the complimentary takeaway coffee is both delicious and photo-worthy. The kids' play area is great for younger children, and the reading corner has books kids will love, plus free craft activities. They even offer water whenever you head out. In short, all the staff were absolutely wonderful! Guilin's overall travel experience was fantastic! Our child's highest praise was wanting to come back again and stay at this hotel next time!

GGuest UserThis was one of the largest rooms I've ever stayed in. The hot water pressure was fantastic, making showers and hair washing so comfortable. The breakfast spread in the morning was extensive, and they even had white fungus soup in the evenings. The lobby offered complimentary Luo Han Guo tea, fruits, snacks, and thoughtful amenities like facial masks and band-aids. It's the first hotel I've stayed at that provided laundry detergent and even laundry bags, which was incredibly considerate. The price was very reasonable, and the location was easy to find.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right near the Longtoushan Pier, where boats depart from Guilin to Yangshuo. From my room, I could see the Li River, and there's a rooftop platform for even better river views, framed by the distant mountains – it's incredibly picturesque and perfect for photos.
The room was spacious, quiet, and the bedding was comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. For business travelers, the laundry and fitness facilities on the fifth floor public area are very convenient.
Breakfast offers a good variety of Chinese and Western options, including delicious freshly prepared Guilin rice noodles, which are even better than those you find on the street.
The hotel staff were very service-oriented; the front desk provided a lot of useful information when I asked for travel tips.
Personally, I think the Lijiang Grand is a top choice in Yangshuo, considering its views, proximity to shopping, and overall convenience.

HHuijiadetuanziThe room was spacious, and the hotel's location near Ten-Mile Gallery is super convenient for getting around. It's right on the main street, so you'll want to keep the door closed at night to block out the noise. The in-room facilities are quite new, and the toiletries provided are decent. However, some of the common areas, like the 'Yangshuo Eye' attraction, the swimming pool, and the kids' play area, are a bit dated and could use some renovation and cleaning. The staff were all very friendly, always greeting me and wishing me goodnight. The complimentary nightly dessert was a lovely and delicious touch, showing they genuinely care about their guests. They offer electric scooter rentals, but I'd suggest they tweak their wording a bit. When I rented one, the staff member said, 'This can only go 30km, it's 30 yuan, and you have to ride it back.' While their attitude was perfectly fine and not accusatory, a slightly softer approach would make guests feel even more comfortable.

KKevinOne of the best accommodation we have been to on our 6 month trip!
First and foremost, the host, Rachel, who is super friendly, attentive and helpful. She speaks perfect English, can recommend good places to visit and good restaurant and prepare excellent coffee in the morning.
Then, the hotel.
Beautifully decorated with lots of amenities. Spacious, beautiful and super comfy rooms. Nothing is missing.
We were also super lucky and got a room upgrade with view over one of the mountains and a big bathtub.
They also rent electric bicycle and scooters at a very good price.
Finally, location is perfect. Just a few meters from the busy West Street, the river and the main road to visit around.
Special mention, to the enormous cat!
No doubt where we will be staying next time we are in Yangshuo.
Thank you so much for everything, we felt like at home.

Upon entering, you're greeted by a mountain-view pool. During the day, you can relax in the pool and admire the lush peaks and bamboo rafts. At night, the lights reflected in the water transform it into a starlit pool, perfect for photos and a lively atmosphere. The butler service is attentive and thoughtful; upon check-in, fresh fruit and welcome tea were immediately provided, and they were always available when called.
The guest rooms feature smart home technology throughout, allowing you to control appliances with your voice. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows mean you can enjoy stunning views of the peaks and the sunset glow right from your bed. The ground-floor mountain forest leisure area is surrounded by greenery, a peaceful spot to enjoy tea, read a book, and observe the natural scenery, spending a leisurely afternoon.
The rooftop cafe offers expansive views, perfect for enjoying coffee while overlooking the Yulong River's landscapes. In the morning, the buffet breakfast offers a wide selection of both meat and vegetarian options, as well as Chinese and Western dishes. From splashing in the pool to taking in the views from the rooftop, you can easily spend an entire day relaxing and enjoying a slow-paced vacation at this hotel!

Wonderful hotel employee LUCY is simply charming, she immediately signed me up for a ride on bamboo rafts and did a fireworks display 🎆!!!! She told me everything about the history of the hotel and I bought the book!!!! I dream of building a hotel in Russia!!! And this trip was a great inspiration for me!!!!! The toiletries are individually packaged mini bottles, which is a nice touch for peace of mind! The breakfast is plentiful and served semi-buffet style, with options like freshly made local specialty rice noodles. The public areas, such as the 'Sky Mirror' and the lobby, are great for relaxing, checking in, and taking photos. Parking is also convenient with a dedicated underground garage!

CCallum DobsonReally nice room in a decent location about 10 mins walk from West Street. Was very clean with nice lighting and once you can navigate the Chinese TV there are English movies available to watch. The laundry was also nice to have!
We booked this for the included food and amenities but were quite disappointed. The breakfast is okay but the rest of the food purely caters towards Chinese guests only, there is zero western food available. Everyday the “dessert” was soup, I wouldn’t consider that a dessert buffet.
The electric scooter rental was easy and convenient and they offered a carpooling service to Guilin Station which was convenient.
Overall good stay but if you’re coming expecting a varied buffet that caters to multiple people then I would pass.
