The room has excellent natural light, and the location is fantastic. The service attitude is also top-notch. I'll definitely choose to stay at SANA again when I come back to Berlin! It's about a five-minute walk to the subway station, and it's very quiet at night. The in-room coffee machine is also super good.

This hotel felt like something out of a Barbie movie! The design was unique, yet it was very clean and comfortable. The gym was well-equipped, and the sauna was great to use. I was also very satisfied with the wide variety of options for breakfast.

We chose this hotel to escape the summer heat with our baby, expecting the level of service and professionalism that comes with the JW Marriott brand. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. We checked in at around 4 PM and were greeted by a very long queue with only one receptionist serving guests. The wait exceeded an hour, and even after reaching the front desk, the check-in process itself took an unusually long time. The biggest issue came when we were informed that the room we had booked was still occupied because another guest, described as a premium member, had not yet checked out. Regardless of the reason, we had paid for that room and expected it to be available at the guaranteed check-in time. Guests should not have to deal with operational issues that are entirely within the hotel’s control. As a temporary solution, we were placed in another room while waiting for our booked room to become available. We ultimately had to wait around five hours before we could finally move into the room we had reserved. This was especially inconvenient while traveling with a baby and disrupted the first day of our stay. The hotel did offer a late check-out as compensation, but that did little to offset the inconvenience, wasted time, and frustration caused by the situation. The issue should never have happened in the first place, and the recovery fell short of what I would expect from a luxury hotel. Overall, this experience was far below the standards I associate with JW Marriott. I hope the hotel improves both its check-in operations and the way it handles situations where booked rooms are not available as promised.

This hotel is excellent. The front desk staff were very understanding. Due to a flight issue, I booked the hotel for three days but could only stay for one. This wasn't the hotel's fault, but my own. When the hotel learned of my situation, they kindly upgraded me to a suite free of charge as a gesture of compensation. The room I stayed in was truly wonderful.

We stayed at NH Collection Berlin Mitte for two nights over the weekend. Overall, it’s a great value for a short trip. The location is excellent and the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed (comfortable bed, great bathroom, TV). The best part was the sauna included in the price — perfect after cold winter walks, and it’s open until 10 pm. Two small downsides: we felt a slight draft from the balcony window (winter stay), and there was a faint “old” smell in the room. Not a big issue, but worth mentioning. We didn’t try breakfast, so can’t comment on food.

Good location, large rooms. We have been to this hotel for many years, but unfortunately, this year, starting with the reception day, the smell of fried fish is terrible, like a cheap eatery. All the furniture in the room is worn out, the bed creaks a lot. For 5 stars - you need to ask for a dental kit at the reception, water-compliment put 1 small bottle for 2 people.

Dissappointing... We come here for more than six years, and it goes seamlessly down. In the evening is the sauna neglected, nobody comes to replenish towels and water cups, not to mention that ”renovation” meant the removal of the fridge, which used to offer free soft drinks and bottled water after the saune. Just two sorts of tea (if you can sustain that four kind of black tea means four sorts of tea...). Nobody controls the sauna temperature anymore, one day it was crispy hot, last time one could fall asleep inside... The rooms cannot be heated, just cooled. If you try to turn air condition off, you can´t, and they need the approval of the building´s owner to change the set temperature for the entire hotel. Last time they offered us a heater, now we had to change room for extra charge. All staff seemed overwhelmed with the complaints, except for apologies there is nothing to get in exchange for the wasted time and money... Room keys don´t always work in the elevator or on the floor. Extra coding for the sauna works every now and then. Staff overwhelmed, room orders come very late or not at all. No coffee sets whatsoever.

Let's start with the positives: The location is excellent, right next to the U2 subway station and very close to the U6. If you have the Berlin WelcomeCard, getting around by subway and bus is super convenient and saves you a lot of walking. There's a Rewe supermarket across the street with a great selection of food, and their salad bar and hot food counter are both excellent. Now for the negatives: The staff were arrogant and rude. I waited in line to check in for almost 20 minutes when a white man just walked up and stood next to the queue, not bothering to line up. After the person in front of me finished, I walked up to the front desk with him. He said the balding male staff member at the desk had called him over. I told the male receptionist that everyone was queuing and should be served in order, but he insisted he had called that specific white man. At this point, another front desk was free, so I didn't argue and moved to that one. This is where it got even more interesting. When I tried to pay the deposit in cash, the female receptionist said they don't accept cash. Isn't it illegal in any country to refuse legal tender? And who says everyone has a credit card? I didn't want any trouble, so I pulled out my credit card, but for some reason, it wouldn't go through. Finally, this female receptionist said her colleague could accept cash, and indeed, the colleague came over and took the money. But if I hadn't asked, they wouldn't have even given me a receipt. For a hotel costing over 2,000 euros a night, they don't provide bottled water unless you're a Hilton Silver member or higher. The coffee is also terrible instant coffee, the worst among the four hotels I stayed at on this Europe trip. The facilities are old but reasonably well-maintained. In short, besides the location, there are no redeeming qualities.

I recently stayed at this hotel , and I have to say my experience was a real mix of good and bad. I'll break it down clearly so other travelers know what to expect. Check-in experience I arrived at the hotel AT 21 PM, which was supposed to be the standard check-in time. To my surprise, there was absolutely nobody at the reception desk. I stood there waiting, thinking someone would appear in a minute.. After a while staff member finally came out from a back office. They looked a bit stressed or overwhelmed.The check-in process itself was rushed and cold. Coffee in the room – horrible Another big downside was the in-room coffee. The hotel provides instant powdered coffee – the cheap, soluble type that comes in a small sachet. I made a cup hoping for a decent morning coffee, but it was truly horrible. The taste was artificial, bitter, and had absolutely no real coffee flavour. It honestly tasted like chemicals. In my opinion, a hotel charging these rates should definitely offer capsule coffee (like Nespresso or a compatible system). Powdered coffee is outdated, low-quality, and leaves a terrible impression on guests who appreciate a good cup of coffee to start the day. This is a small detail that makes a big difference. I ended up going out to a nearby café to buy real coffee. THE POSITIVE POINTS Cleanliness – excellent On the positive side, I have to say that the cleanliness of the room was impeccable. The bed sheets were crisp, white, and spotless. The bathroom was perfectly clean – no hair, no dust, no stains. The floors were well swept and mopped. It's clear that the housekeeping staff takes their job seriously and does an excellent job. I felt very comfortable in terms of hygiene and tidiness. The room itself – fine The room was fine. It wasn't luxurious or particularly stylish, but it was perfectly acceptable for a short stay. The bed was comfortable enough, the TV worked well, the Wi-Fi connection was stable, and the air conditioning functioned properly. There was enough space to move around and store my luggage. So for a basic, no-frills stay, the room met expectations.

For the price paid, the Homaris WestSide is actually good to very good. Unfortunately, when we stay in one of the suites, some things have not worked as they should. Negative: - TV in both rooms is not working restricted or not. - The lead track of the darkness hang in the ” living room” with a sofa is damaged and insufficiently flicked with a tape, which hangs the hang to the side of almost everyone from the wing and with the help of a bank back into the Leading must be sworn if you want it to be dark at night. - A bed lamp doesn't work in the bedroom. - There is a discharge on the toilet that does not seem new, at least the calcify storage in the fugs under and before the toilet indicates that. Positive: - Breakfast buffet is very good for the money. - The double bed and also the bed sofa were comfortable.
