TTravelling explorerNice hotel, friendly staff, clean room, comfy bed, safe in room, fridge, T.V. Best selection of Breakfast buffet at this hotel compared to all previous German hotel breakfast buffets eaten so far. BUT I booked this hotel for the sauna which were not available due to construction work when I arrived, with no info about the closure of the Sauna online before booking which is unnaceptable for the top hotel listing in Berlin with Sauna when paying customers book specifically to enjoy the sauna. Lucky for me I visited the best Men only sauna in Berlin called Artemis that evening which had the most beautiful female staff who attend to your every need, which left me relieved, refreshed and happy enough to forget the disapointment of no working sauna at the hotel I booked. Many nice restaraunts, bars and tourists attractions in walking distance with near by train station to reach other parts of Berlin to far to walk. Overall good hotel.

GGuest UserUnfortunately, the pool was closed and the sauna was required to login and the sauna area was able to use just 1 hour. The opening hours of the sauna from 14:00 to 20:00 on weekends are absolutely unacceptable for such a luxury hotel. We were very angry about it. When booking we have not received any information about the time in the spa is so regulated and it is completely closed in the pool area. At the reception, we received information that the pool was closed due to energy saving measures and also lacked staff. We believe that then the overnight prices must be adjusted accordingly if a significant part of the services cannot be provided. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy our stay as we intended!

GGuest UserThe room was very clean. The doorman was helpful and took out the trash, which was a nice touch. The front desk staff, cleaning crew, and customer service were all great. The only thing is they require a 200 euro deposit, which is refunded 7 to 14 business days after check-out, with the city tax deducted from it. I hope my deposit is returned promptly, thank you.

GGuest UserLocation is very convenient and just next to Stadtmitte station with less than 5min walk. Hotel is clean, but service could be better. We requested room cleaning but it was not done for 2 days during our 6 days stay. Gym is small. Has lots of café nearby.

AAngelinchinaI travel around often and I sleep in hotels many nights a year, I had never experienced the situation that I had when I arrived at the Hilton Berlin. I had booked, and paid for a ‘Twin Room with Dome View’ about 4 months before the trip. Upon check-in, I was automatically assigned a room that was not twin nor Dome View (you can see the view in the pictures below); I went back to reception twice, to complain that this was not the room I had booked, the hotel staff was most unhelpful, they didn’t allow me to speak with the manager, nor did they provided any solution or any sort of compensation, their answer simply was that the hotel was booked up and that there was nothing they could do. This was wrong for different reasons, first they assigned me a room that only had one bed, secondly they didn’t provide any solution other than adding a little roller bed to the room, third they didn’t allow me to speak with the manager. I am very disappointed, these sort of experiences do not belong to a hotel chain like Hilton. This unfortunate incident tainted my stay at the hotel. I hope this review gets somehow to someone at Hilton and does something to avoid any further guests having a similar experience. Furthermore, the sauna facilities was apparently not part of the room rate (this was not mentioned whatsoever) and when I checked out I found that I had to pay for every single time I used the sauna.

GGuest UserThis place was honestly a solid find. The room was super comfortable and it was clean. The lobby has this really nice, open feel with great interior design, so just hanging out there for a few minutes was a vibe. And the views outside the hotel are lovely, especially around sunset. There's a train station across the river, and a supermarket just a 10-minute walk away. Super convenient for grabbing snacks, drinks, or anything you forgot to pack. Overall, it's a chill, no-drama stay. Comfy, clean, nice views, and practical. Would definitely come back.

GGuest UserEverything is self-service, from check-in and check-out to making your own room key, changing towels, and replenishing room amenities—you can handle it all yourself. There are two washing machines and two dryers in the basement for guests to use free of charge. Room cleaning can be requested every two days, offering great flexibility for travelers who prefer not to be disturbed.

GGuest UserDissappointing... We come here for more than six years, and it goes seamlessly down. In the evening is the sauna neglected, nobody comes to replenish towels and water cups, not to mention that ”renovation” meant the removal of the fridge, which used to offer free soft drinks and bottled water after the saune. Just two sorts of tea (if you can sustain that four kind of black tea means four sorts of tea...). Nobody controls the sauna temperature anymore, one day it was crispy hot, last time one could fall asleep inside... The rooms cannot be heated, just cooled. If you try to turn air condition off, you can´t, and they need the approval of the building´s owner to change the set temperature for the entire hotel. Last time they offered us a heater, now we had to change room for extra charge. All staff seemed overwhelmed with the complaints, except for apologies there is nothing to get in exchange for the wasted time and money... Room keys don´t always work in the elevator or on the floor. Extra coding for the sauna works every now and then. Staff overwhelmed, room orders come very late or not at all. No coffee sets whatsoever.
