"The hotel was amazing with some of the kindest and friendliest staff. The map location wasn’t correct, through the app or with Apple Maps. Only after a google search and getting in touch with the hotel, did I find it. The pool and workout room were awesome. The pool looked particularly amazing at night. My only issue was with their WiFi. I don’t know if it’s. Regular occurrence or just the luck of the draw. But other than that..5 stars!!!"

IIndhujaWe had a perfectly pleasant and quite a memorable stay at Plantation. The place is very beautiful, aesthetically peaceful and hence very calming. The rooms are very harmonious and spacious with high-quality furnishings, very comfortable bed/pillow, great water pressure etc., and overall very clean. The pool was visually stunning, surrounded by trees and cabanas; And was quite frequently cleaned, ridding it of leaves from the trees above. The whole place feels like a ”green haven” with flora and quite a few birds and frogs, and this amount of greenery is something we really love, but did not expect to find in Cambodia!
The people who keep it clean and running are the silent backbone of the place and I really appreciate the smiles and the greetings that feel quite genuine. Although I did encounter a couple of rude staff, with a mildly biased behaviour, I'm inclined to rather shrug it off keeping the other kind staff in mind.
Overall, a very pleasing and memorable stay at Plantation, that I'll definitely choose again.

-First of all, the location is in the city center, it is very very convenient, it is too convenient to book a car at the door.
-Next door is the front desk, bar, swimming pool, many foreigners swimming in the pool, basking in the sun, very comfortable.
-The room design is too attentive, very modern and has an art gallery, the favorite is the bathtub on the balcony, it is too comfortable, and you can see the pool view from the balcony.
-The waiters at the hotel are all local, everyone will smile for you, the service is very very good! Stay here every minute and enjoy!

GGuest UserThis Novotel seems to be right in the city center, with plenty of restaurants nearby. There's a small alley next door that leads directly to a bar street. However, it's over 2 kilometers from the riverside, about a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride. The hotel is relatively new, and the rooms are quite spacious. The only minor issue is the odd angle of the mirror, which makes shaving a bit awkward. The executive lounge offers a wider selection of drinks than many Pullman hotels. The main drawback is the price; a standard room at 700 RMB is more expensive than in Shanghai, so the value for money is debatable.

GGuest UserGreat hotel and amazing service! The room is spacious, modern, and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The swimming pool is fantastic, and the best part is that it stays open until 23:00 — perfect for watching the sunset.
The room also offers an excellent view, and housekeeping keeps it spotless every single day.
The gym is solid as well, with all the equipment you need for a proper workout, plus a sauna for relaxing afterward.
The rooftop bar is a highlight — great atmosphere, delicious food, and a nice variety of dishes, mostly Western.
Overall, highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe location is lovely and as you arrive there’s a real wow feeling.
The service is excellent and the whole team are delightful.
The pool was beautiful and the gardens were really lovely.
It was really quiet when we were there so the restaurant was often empty besides us which felt a bit strange. The food was fine but could have been hotter, it felt that presentation took priority over heat. The prices in the restaurant seemed quite high.
I love the idea that this place is eco friendly however if guests are expected to top up water bottles the water stations should be clean and inviting.
The gym was a bit scruffy and not inviting but then I wasn’t there for that!
The place is relatively new however there were definite signs of the rooms being tired but I think if cleaned more would make the place look spectacular - which I guess is the desired effect. Eg. Our courtyard was very scruffy and not welcoming. The TV wasn’t working and the windows in the apartment desperately needed cleaning.
Some little touches and attention to detail would bring this back to the 5* glory that it should be.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and hope that the management team take my comments on board because I think it could be fabulous.

It's a very Chinese-style business hotel. The front desk staff speak Chinese, and most of the meals are Chinese cuisine. The room layout is similar to that of a Ji Hotel. They offer laundry service and late-night snacks, and most of the guests are Chinese.
The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to Central Market and Canadia Tower, truly in the city center.
Unfortunately, the building next door is undergoing renovations, so the drilling noise was quite loud. Also, the hotel faces the street, so there's some traffic noise. Light sleepers might want to reconsider.

Staff were friendly and professional, and the check-in process was smooth. It’s a great option if you need a comfortable place to rest or refresh during the day. I would use it again in the future.

MMyron BuckVery clean and comfortable hotel, off the busy streets, near some nice clubs and restaurants. Some other reviews talked about the loud nightclub next door, but to me it was just background noise and did not interfere with my sleep at all.
One word of caution: if you have any mobility issues (poor balance, unable to move easily, weak knees), this hotel is NOT for you. The shower is in the (slightly elevated) tub, and you must step up high to get in or out. The tub and floor are quite slippery, and there are NO handholds…if you lose your balance or slip, you will have a very bad fall into the glass shower door! I spoke to the manager about the importance of putting in some rails on the wall and non-slip pads in the tub, and she said I was not the first to make this comment.
Other than this (which does not apply to everyone), it’s a very nice hotel. Be aware that it is down a walking alley, and although tuktuks can drive up to it, the hotel sign is above your head so it’s easy to miss it…in plain sight!

AAnonymous UserThe location is great, in a key spot in the city which makes it easy to get around and explore. There's an Aeon Mall right across the street, which is super convenient. Plus, there are lots of restaurants nearby and it's close to the Forbidden City. I'd give the location a 10/10.
Taxi availability gets a 9/10.
For safety, you need a key card to operate the elevator, so that's a 7/10.
There was a strong smell of smoke, a 10/10 for smokiness.
Cleanliness was a 7/10.
Overall, the price was acceptable.
