HHonghongdefengjingrijiThe check-in process was very comfortable. We stayed in a house with a yard on the first floor. The room was clean and tidy, but I don't think it was necessary. It would be better to stay in the garden room in front of the swimming pool. The price is cheaper. There is afternoon tea, which is exquisite and fresh, and breakfast service, which is clean and hygienic. We were picked up at the pier and received a small collection of shells and conchs as a delicate gift. The most surprising thing was that I took life-like photos during the free photo shoot offered by the hotel. The photographer lady understood me so well. Love it, already set as wallpaper!
The hotel has small electric donkeys for rent.
Shiluokou Beach is right downstairs from the hotel. I regret not taking a good walk there.
Cons: The lights in the hotel are too dim. Hot water takes a long time to drain. The hotel is not too close to the Sports Park, Nanwan Old Street and other centers

The location is fantastic, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, plus excellent transportation links. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The service was absolutely top-notch; the staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices and tasted great too. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

BBudongshibaibai✅ The guesthouse location is excellent! Whether you're in a sea-view or forest-view room, it's just a short walk to the beach 🏝️. And it's a clean, uncrowded beach, with lots of photo props, a restaurant, and a cafe nearby – super convenient!
✅ They offer a complimentary photography service, which is a great bonus for getting good shots.
✅ Pier transfers are provided, adding another layer of convenience.
✅ The room is spacious, and all the facilities are new, clean, and odorless. They even thoughtfully provided insect repellent (🌟 and the juice in the mini-fridge was delicious!👍).
✅ The service was top-notch! A special shout-out to our housekeeper, Quan Quan, for her enthusiastic, thoughtful, and dedicated service. After booking, she proactively set up a WeChat group for us, confirmed our island arrival time, and arranged a car pick-up in advance. Upon arrival, she immediately explained the island map and key attractions, even meticulously marking things for us. The two restaurants she recommended were not only tasty but also great value for money!
✅ Overall, our two-day experience on Weizhou Island was fantastic, with the guesthouse contributing significantly to that. When my friend fell ill, the front desk even had emergency medicine. And when we left, they prepared souvenirs, disposable raincoats, and motion sickness patches – their sincerity truly shone through! 👍

Ffree****The hotel's location is super close to the Guizhou Road seafood market, within walking distance. There are shared electric scooters right downstairs, which are really convenient for exploring the old town.
The hotel service was excellent, really great, and they even upgraded my room.
The monk fruit tea in the lobby was delicious.
The smart control system in the room was very convenient.
The only slight downside was that it was a bit noisy downstairs with people singing.
Homestays in Beihai can be hit or miss, so having hotel service guarantees a better experience.
It was great, I'll definitely come back again.

LLEOW KIAN WOONI had a fantastic stay at this北海海悦. The location was near to Beihai Railway Station convenient and central for major attractions. There are little dirty spot marks at the carpet and other then are well-maintained. The housekeeping staff ensured fresh towels and toiletries were provided daily. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, allowing for a great night’s sleep. There were two washing machines and two dryers that were free to utilize. I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again.

From its location and facilities to the service, everything perfectly met my vacation needs, making it a hidden gem right by Silver Beach.
The location is truly unbeatable! It's just a few minutes' walk to the core area of Silver Beach, making it super convenient to walk barefoot on the white sandy beach and watch the sunrise and sunset. The hotel's back door leads directly to the scenic area entrance, saving you the hassle of commuting. It's only a 5-minute drive to Qiaogang Style Street, which is incredibly convenient for enjoying seafood stalls and Vietnamese snacks. It's also close to the International Passenger Port, making it a stress-free option if you plan to visit Weizhou Island. The front desk even kindly shares tips to avoid common pitfalls and travel routes.

Parking is convenient, and the receptionist, Xiao Jian, is very helpful and introduced nearby tourist attractions. It's great value for money; I'd extend my stay for two more days. Highly recommended!

TTuomaxixingAsaka is a newly popular hotel and community in Beihai, bearing a striking resemblance to Aranya in Qinhuangdao. The hotel's prices are very budget-friendly, offering great value for money in Beihai.
We visited during the National Day holiday, when prices at popular hotels typically soar 2-3 times. While Asaka Hotel also had a significant premium, it remained quite competitive compared to the beachfront hotels at Silver Beach. We initially stayed two nights at Silver Beach, then explored the Asaka community, found it impressive, and decided to move to the Ferris Wheel Seaview Resort.
**⛲️Environment:** Asaka Hotel currently primarily consists of the Ferris Wheel, Summit, and other sub-brand resorts. These are essentially hotel-style apartments designed and decorated within the community's high-rise residential buildings. They feature IKEA furniture and appliances, with a Nordic design aesthetic. The main differences lie in location, orientation, and floor level.
This time, we stayed in a Deluxe Seaview Room in the annex building of the Ferris Wheel Resort. It offered expansive views of the southeast-facing beach and the adorable Ferris Wheel 🎡 nearby. The room was a one-bedroom, one-living room, one-bathroom setup, similar to a small suite. There was also a private small courtyard at the room entrance with a washing machine and exhaust fan, perfect for storing odds and ends or drying clothes. A sizable balcony allowed for enjoying the view, relaxing, and catching the sunrise if you woke up early. Both the hotel and the room were relatively new and very clean. The living room had a small refrigerator and a stove (though not used). Breakfast was served as a set meal in the staff canteen; it was simple but decent. Alternatively, you could dine at one of the restaurants within the park. The service was quite good, with quick responses to inquiries. Overall, it felt like a well-serviced hotel-style apartment, suitable for an extended staycation.
**🎡Facilities:** Asaka Park boasts a large outdoor water park, a children's pool, an indoor children's playground, and a children's library, making it ideal for families with kids—this is its biggest selling point compared to other hotels! Unfortunately, we encountered Typhoon 🌀 Muifa, which led to the closure of both indoor and outdoor children's facilities for several days.
There are also adult pools, a cinema, a bookstore, an art gallery, several specialty restaurants and bars, and charming plazas with art sculptures and installations perfect for relaxing and taking photos. Around the park, you'll find numerous art installations and landscaped gardens with a similar theme. To the south are the landmark Ferris Wheel and a larger water park, though they were not open during my visit. Overall, Asaka is a community with a strong sense of design and plenty of recreational opportunities, well worth exploring, photographing, or even staying for a short visit.
**🌀Typhoon Days:** We happened to be there during a direct hit from a typhoon, which significantly impacted our experience. The water park and children's playground were closed, and park restaurants were overcrowded. Waking up in the middle of the night, I could hear the howling wind outside and the slight swaying of the ceiling lamp inside 🫨 After the typhoon passed, the outdoor areas were a mess… However, I was impressed to see many service staff standing firm at their posts, ensuring the normal operation of the hotel community.
**Finally, let's talk about the downsides:**
The hotel rooms are all located in high-rise buildings, but each building only has 2-4 elevators. When you factor in delivery personnel, you can imagine how busy it gets during peak hours. Our luck was pretty good, but we still had to wait a long time for elevators a few times. I suggest strictly enforcing the rule that delivery personnel are not allowed into the hotel.
Surprisingly, the in-room phone in the annex building couldn't dial the front desk. We had to use our mobile phones to call the hotel's main line, and some front desk staff weren't even aware of this issue. I recommend fixing the direct-dial phone problem or at least informing guests upon check-in and providing alternative contact methods.
