1. The facilities are quite new, the environment is great, and it's genuinely, exceptionally quiet. 2. The service was very attentive. Front desk staff #10 and #3 were incredibly kind, arranged everything perfectly, and even helped upgrade our room type. What left the deepest impression, though, was the cleaning lady. She was beautiful, had a captivating smile, and most importantly, was incredibly thoughtful. I had washed some clothes that were dripping in the bathroom and forgot to hang them out before leaving. She actually brought me a drying rack and hung them up for me. 3. The transportation is very convenient, very close to Metro Line 3, about a five to six-minute walk. Highly recommended!

The hotel boasts a great location, convenient parking, and clean, tidy rooms with beautiful night views! The breakfast selection was plentiful, and the rice noodles were delicious 🤤 The receptionists were warm and attentive, always ready to answer any questions 👍👍👍 The hotel is right next to the subway station (Yingwan Town Station), making it very convenient for getting around and sightseeing. It's only one stop away from Orange Isle and also very close to Yuelu Mountain Park. This time, I stopped by on my way back, so the itinerary was a bit rushed. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. 😊😊😊 The two night views are actually from my room window. I didn't take pictures of all the breakfast options, just my own 🤭🤭🤭

I have to specifically praise the server (whether it was a young lady or gentleman) who assisted me. Their service was patient and meticulous, proactively anticipating customer needs, and genuinely friendly. Such thoughtful and attentive service truly enhanced my dining experience. They are excellent staff members who deserve recognition from the establishment! I also forgot to take a picture of another young lady, but her service was absolutely outstanding. I strongly recommend the boss give them a raise! While a hotel's cleanliness and overall service are important, an exceptional server can truly retain customers. A large part of this comfortable stay was due to the attentive service, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

The hotel has an unbeatable location along Taiping Old Street. It requires less than 2 minutes of walking from North gate 北门 of the street to the alley where the hotel is located. Taiping Old Street is where you can find all of Changsha souvenirs and best restaurants gathered in one location, which makes the hotel a perfect place to stay in Changsha, especially on the last night of your travel. I appreciated that the hotel helped to accept our Tabao hauls before we arrived. Further more, the hotel provides free door to door laundry service! Even though we were only staying 1 night, the hotel still offered this service to us by collecting our laundry at 11pm and returning the clean laundry back to us early next morning! We were impressed that despite being so hidden in an alley, the hotel had automatic door AND A LIFT even though there were only 3 storeys! Upon opening our hotel room door, we were welcomed by 小度. The room was large and cosy, with an automatic flush toilet. I read in a previous review that there was no place to hang clothes in the showering area, but this has already been taken care of, which shows that the owner does listen to the feedbacks given. If there is anything to improve on, perhaps change one of the pillows to a latex pillow, as the pillows were too soft for our liking. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who is coming to Changsha!

We are visitors from the UK who spent a 3 night stay at the the Fancy Hotel. We chose it due to the hotel’s proximity to Hunan Museum - less than 10 minutes walk away. The location is great - Martyr’s Park is just alongside the museum. It is a lovely place to walk and there is plenty to do once you are inside. There is also a metro station and very large shopping mall with numerous eateries - including a Burger King and KFC within easy walking distance. The hotel is clean and modern. Decor is good. Our room was a little small, but comfortable and had everything we could need for a short stay - including charging cables and electric curtains! There was an extensive range of Chinese options for breakfast. Western options were more limited and included fruit, toast, butter, jam, boiled eggs, coffee, croissants and a surprising array of small cakes. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. They did not speak English - but patience, a smile and Google translate helped us to communicate. The hotel has a roof garden and small gym There are food delivery options, which we didn’t have time to investigate. Sadly there did not appear to be anywhere to buy a coffee on site. We liked the hotel and thought it great value for money. We would definitely return on a future trip to Changsha.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic and super convenient. You can hail a taxi right outside, and the subway station is directly across the street. The lively Jiefang West bar street is just next door, and behind the hotel is Taiping Old Street, making it incredibly easy to explore, shop, eat, and have fun. The room arranged by CC offered a superb view, and the room's style was very refined. The rosewood Chinese aesthetic created a great atmosphere, and there was even a mini but practical tea set. The beautiful view outside the window was perfect for photos, especially the night scenery! PS: (A thank you note) The hotel staff were incredibly professional. A screw fell off my friend's suitcase, and we tentatively called the front desk for help. The logistics team brought up a toolbox full of screws of various sizes for us to choose from, which was a huge help. We're very grateful!

I saw an absolutely stunning sunset over the Xiang River here in Changsha. Even though it rained heavily on the day I arrived, I was lucky enough to witness a rare and beautiful sunset from my hotel room in the evening. The orange hues of the twilight painted the river, and the 'blue hour' truly touched my heart. The river-view room offered an amazing, unobstructed, and expansive view with floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the Xiang River. At night, I could also see the bustling city lights. Perhaps this is the joy of travel – you never know what the next moment will bring. The room design was incredibly stylish, and the public lobby exuded an artistic vibe. Every corner felt like it had its own filter, so you didn't even need to find the perfect angle for photos. There's even a hotel-owned selfie studio on the first floor where you can capture your travel memories. The name 'Tyndall Gap' (Tyndall隙) is also quite distinctive. If I ever get the chance to visit Changsha again, I would definitely choose this place. Let me share a few details that I really loved: The room came with a mini-fridge/minibar, and all the drinks were complimentary. Watching shows and the river view with a drink in hand was incredibly comfortable, and I didn't have to spend any extra money. The 1.8m bed was super comfortable, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly. I'd love to know what brand they use! I slept incredibly soundly at night. The special breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options, including Changsha's famous stinky tofu and sugar oil baba (fried glutinous rice cakes). Breakfast hours were from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM, perfect for sleeping in and then enjoying a meal. Overall, the quality completely rivals a five-star hotel – it's sophisticated and minimalist without being over-the-top. It's perfect for a romantic getaway, a trip with friends, or any kind of stay. The hotel is conveniently located right by the Peiyuan Bridge subway station. If you're looking for a high-rise hotel in Changsha with a great view and strong design aesthetic, this place is genuinely excellent.

Traveling with elderly parents and young children, the hotel's location right next to the train and metro stations made getting around incredibly convenient. While the room was a bit small, it was clean and comfortable. We'd definitely consider staying here again on our next visit.

The room was clean and bright, and the bedding was soft and comfy. There's a desk and a window in every room, and I slept soundly all night. The soundproofing is excellent, it was really quiet. Breakfast had a great variety, and the Changsha rice noodles were authentic and delicious. It's really great value for money, perfect for both business trips and family vacations. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area, I truly recommend it to everyone! Satisfied.
