GGuest UserThe location is good, but the area for unloading luggage from the vehicle is quite hidden and located in the back alley. I noticed that the front desk staff were not very friendly toward elderly guests with limited language ability. Overall, the service was acceptable, and there is a laundry room available.

2. Surrounded with many eating houses and the famous shopping street Tanukikojo Streets are also just few minutes walk from the hotel.
3. Hotel lobby and hotel restaurant are located in main building, and our room were in 2nd building.
4. There were coin-operated washer+dryer in some of the floors hence which is quite convenience for guests to use.
5. Breakfast were so so.
6. I have stayed in Holiday Inn hotel many times (1st time in Japan) and this is the 1st time i see Dove brand for shower and hair shampoo.
Overall the hotel met my expectations.

GGuest UserThe location is pretty good. It's about a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station North Exit, crossing two intersections. The Aspen of the same brand is a bit closer. However, it's very close to Hokkaido University, about a 7-8 minute walk. We booked a deluxe twin room, and the 25 sqm space was excellent for two adults and one child – not at all cramped. Breakfast ends a bit early at 9:30 AM; when we went at 9 AM, the sashimi was already gone. Out of three breakfasts, we only got sweet shrimp once, which was a bit frustrating. The hotel is clean, and housekeeping was very prompt. The front desk can store luggage, and the service overall was good.

Overall, its good for us, and definitely will come back.

Ddira22Easy check in and check out, the size of the room is kinda small for the three of us but still very bearable, we need to open our luggage one by one, the bed is sooo good, i sleep easily every single day, we choose the economical package so they don't clean our room every single day but they will change towel and clean the trash if we put it outside the room the next day, the location is excellent is really near nijo market and near sapporo tv tower, also tanukikoji street

It’s a huge spread that mixes Japanese and Western styles, including local specialties like Hokkaido soup curry, venison curry, and even unique pancakes, all washed down with the region's legendary fresh milk. At roughly ¥2,000 to ¥2,400, it’s a total steal for the quality and variety you get, making it worth every yen just to avoid the ”morning hunt” for food in the cold.

CCindy1274I stayed at Sapporo Hotel by Grandbell for four nights and had a lovely overall experience. The hotel is quite new, and the view from the room was beautiful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
One of my favorite parts was the onsen — they have several different baths to choose from, and it was a great way to relax after a long day out in the cold.
The convenience is also a plus, with both FamilyMart and Lawson located just downstairs.
The only downside is that the hotel is not very close to the JR station. It’s still walkable, but can feel a bit far, especially in winter. One night, I had trouble finding the correct exit at the station and ended up walking quite a long distance to get back to the hotel.
Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for its comfort, facilities, and relaxing atmosphere — just be prepared for a bit of walking.

AAnonymous UserI stayed here for an ARASHI concert. When I booked, there weren't many hotels left. This one had a decent location, and at the time, the price was relatively affordable, even though it was still just under 2100 yen for one night.
Facilities: The hotel is 30 years old, but I found the facilities to be perfectly adequate. Plus, there's a nice vanity area outside the bathroom where you can sit and get ready. The room itself was also quite spacious.
Service: The service was very good. When I booked, there were no non-smoking rooms available, but I emailed the hotel, and they said they could prepare the room for me with a smoke-free treatment. Indeed, there was no cigarette smell when I checked in.

MMCKohMy stay at Jozankei View Hotel was fantastic. The hotel has a very tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a hot spring resort. The dinner quality was a pleasant surprise; the sashimi and sweet shrimp were incredibly fresh, and the beef was delicious. For breakfast, the seafood donburi was also amazing and very satisfying. The onsen facilities were spacious and comfortable, making for a truly relaxing soak. Overall, the service, food, and environment were excellent. It was a very satisfying hot spring hotel experience and definitely worth recommending.

The facilities are what you'd expect from a well-established star-rated hotel, and the location is absolutely prime, making it convenient to get anywhere. The night view from the upper floors is particularly beautiful. You can pretty much book this place without a second thought. Once again, I applaud my hotel-picking skills!
