GGuest UserVery nice and comfortable hotel. After a long flight, we were happy to say we had a very very good sleep. We only woke up at 5.14am thinking we overslept but Hokkaido summer is here and sunrise is around 4am!
We love the Onsen and its cleanliness. The staff were helpful and attentive. They sent us extra pillows very quickly.
This hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the JR station. Use the north exit - you'll only see the North Exit sign when you exit either East or West ticket gates. We had to find the sign and even the staff gave us the wrong information!

GGuest UserThe triple room was a bit cramped, but with some clever rearranging, it worked out great. The bathroom's odor extraction and dehumidifying features were surprisingly powerful, and I have no idea how they managed it since there's no visible switch or noise. Every day, I'd head to the second-floor hot spring bath; it was so relaxing and never crowded. Just remember to bring your room key to scan for entry. The hotel is conveniently located directly across from Hokkaido University, offering beautiful and pleasant views. We even found a university supermarket next to the campus cafeteria with delightful prices for souvenirs and food, where I snagged some limited-edition Sapporo Agricultural College egg tarts! The hotel's surroundings offer excellent transportation links; it's less than a ten-minute walk to the JR station's North Exit and Daimaru Department Store.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right next to the bus stop, which is super convenient. The cleaning is also spotless, and there are self-service toiletries at the front desk. The only drawback is the small room; two suitcases can't be fully opened, but we don't spend much time in the hotel anyway. I'd choose to stay here again.

FFuleidilaoThe location is great, right next to Tanukikoji, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Don Quijote.
Facilities: There's a hot spring, but I didn't get a chance to use it. There's also a self-service laundry, but it only accepts coins, no electronic payments.
Cleanliness: It was very clean and tidy; I had a comfortable stay.
Service: We arrived at the hotel at 2 PM and were told we could store our luggage first, but check-in wasn't until after 3 PM. We dropped off our bags and went out to explore. We came back after dinner to pick up our room key.

GGuest UserLoved that the hotel allows guests with tattoo to use the onsen though this wasn’t made known explicitly with written signs. Hotel was located at the end of Tanukoji so it’s a distance from the main area although still walkable.
Note that the bathroom doesn’t have a space to put your dry clothes and you will have to wear it outside unless you do not mind the bottom of your pants getting wet. Not very convenient for mix gender groups even though there’s a blind you can draw but still be visible from the mirror reflection. Room was located in the annex building which has alot of stairs so not that convenient for elderlies too. Overall, decent hotel but recommended only if you have no issues walking or are driving.

I hope this message finds you well. I would like to share a small concern regarding my experience at the front desk on March 1, in the hope that it may be helpful for your future service considerations.
After checking out from another hotel, we planned a 2‑day, 1‑night trip to Otaru and wished to store our luggage at your hotel beforehand. When we arrived, we were assisted by your staff member, Ms. Hayshi(林）.When we asked whether it was possible to store our luggage, we were informed that storage was limited to one day only.
We then explained that we would be returning quite late the following evening and asked if there might be any flexibility or alternative arrangements. However, the response we received felt a little abrupt, including a surprised “Huh?” that left us unsure how to continue the conversation. This made us feel slightly uncomfortable and misunderstood, though we believe it may simply have been a moment of miscommunication.
In addition, from the day we inquired about luggage storage until March 4, we noticed that there were still two pieces of luggage stored in the luggage area for several days. We would appreciate some clarification on why those items were allowed to remain for an extended period, as this left us a bit confused about the policy.
At the same time, I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for the warmth and professionalism shown by your Assistant Front Office Manager “Faucett mark “during my check‑in. He welcomed me with genuine kindness, clearly explained the procedures and facilities, and made me feel very well taken care of after a long journey. His patience and attentiveness created a truly positive impression, and I hope the hotel will acknowledge his excellent service.
We have always appreciated the thoughtful hospitality that Japanese hotels are known for, which is why we chose to stay with you. With this in mind, we wanted to gently share both our concern and our gratitude, and we would appreciate a brief reply so we can feel more at ease for the rest of our stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel room is spacious, and the location is excellent. After leaving Nakajima Park, you can reach it by walking straight along the main road and then turning right. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to JR Sapporo Station. The Executive View Room provides great views, and the room is so large that you can fit as many large suitcases as you need without any problem.

MMCKohMy stay at Jozankei View Hotel was fantastic. The hotel has a very tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a hot spring resort. The dinner quality was a pleasant surprise; the sashimi and sweet shrimp were incredibly fresh, and the beef was delicious. For breakfast, the seafood donburi was also amazing and very satisfying. The onsen facilities were spacious and comfortable, making for a truly relaxing soak. Overall, the service, food, and environment were excellent. It was a very satisfying hot spring hotel experience and definitely worth recommending.

GGuest UserLocation is extremely good - we took a bus from Chitose airport and alighted at Monterey Hotel, which is 3-5 mins walk to New Otani Inn; it is also a short walk to TV tower, Clock Tower, Odori Park (all of these within 5-10 mins). Cleanliness is good anywhere in Japan I guess haha.
Their staff can speak a little english and they used translation just to make sure they understand us correctly, effort is 100% here.
Room size is small and cozy but overall stay is comfortable~
