AAnonymous UserThe hotel is within 10 minutes walk from Sapporo JR station and 3 minutes walk from Hokkaido University so the location is very convenient. The room size is generous and it has a public bath on the 2nd floor. Overall a comfortable stay and good value for money. It would be even better if the reception could understand a bit more English or Chinese.

They even provide two complimentary bottles of mineral water. The breakfast is a definite highlight – it's incredibly delicious with a wide variety of options. This is my second time staying here, primarily because of how much I love their breakfast! The soundproofing is excellent, making for a very quiet stay. Its proximity to Sapporo Station is a huge plus, making it super convenient for sightseeing, dining, and shopping.

Ttour.worldIf you enjoy having plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options nearby every day, this hotel is a great choice. It was just renovated last October, so it's very new, the AC is quiet, and the air quality is good. If you stay on the 10th floor, the view is also quite nice, offering a distant glimpse of the ski slopes on the snow-capped mountains. The breakfast buffet dining area is pleasant, and the menu changes slightly every day. Overall, you can get a good, satisfying meal to fuel your morning shopping and sightseeing. In the evening, you can head to the 10th-floor gym for a workout, then relax at the public bath and spa on the 9th floor. There's an Aeon convenience store on the left side of the new building's first floor, which is very handy for buying food and drinks. If you're heading back to New Chitose Airport, you can take a bus from the nearby Chuo Bus stop, and you can pay the fare directly with a credit card that has PayWave. Overall, this hotel is excellent.

GGuest UserThe location is pretty good. It's about a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station North Exit, crossing two intersections. The Aspen of the same brand is a bit closer. However, it's very close to Hokkaido University, about a 7-8 minute walk. We booked a deluxe twin room, and the 25 sqm space was excellent for two adults and one child – not at all cramped. Breakfast ends a bit early at 9:30 AM; when we went at 9 AM, the sashimi was already gone. Out of three breakfasts, we only got sweet shrimp once, which was a bit frustrating. The hotel is clean, and housekeeping was very prompt. The front desk can store luggage, and the service overall was good.

Served in the sunlit ”Aspen” restaurant, the buffet is famous for its fresh seafood, featuring favorites like ikura (soy-marinated salmon roe) so you can build your own kaisendon (seafood bowl) right at your table. It’s a huge spread that mixes Japanese and Western styles, including local specialties like Hokkaido soup curry, venison curry, and even unique pancakes, all washed down with the region's legendary fresh milk. At roughly ¥2,000 to ¥2,400, it’s a total steal for the quality and variety you get, making it worth every yen just to avoid the ”morning hunt” for food in the cold.

DDishuiwaThe hotel's location is excellent; Odori Park and Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade are both within easy walking distance. The onsen (hot spring) bath is nice, though a bit small. The observation deck is very quiet and doubles as a small bar, which I really liked. I especially loved the breakfast here—it was cozy, delicious, and perfectly suited my taste.

AAnonymous UserI stayed here for an ARASHI concert. When I booked, there weren't many hotels left. This one had a decent location, and at the time, the price was relatively affordable, even though it was still just under 2100 yen for one night.
Facilities: The hotel is 30 years old, but I found the facilities to be perfectly adequate. Plus, there's a nice vanity area outside the bathroom where you can sit and get ready. The room itself was also quite spacious.
Service: The service was very good. When I booked, there were no non-smoking rooms available, but I emailed the hotel, and they said they could prepare the room for me with a smoke-free treatment. Indeed, there was no cigarette smell when I checked in.

GGuest UserIt was pretty good. The view from the 24th floor was excellent, and the public bath was larger than the Dormy Inn I stayed at before. The triple room was also very nice. Although the 0.9-meter-wide bed was a bit narrow for my 14-year-old, he didn't mind, and I prefer us all sleeping together, as it helps us bond more with him. The only hassle was the air conditioning was too hot; I suggest they not turn it off completely but instead set it to the lowest temperature of 18 degrees.

MMCKohMy stay at Jozankei View Hotel was fantastic. The hotel has a very tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a hot spring resort. The dinner quality was a pleasant surprise; the sashimi and sweet shrimp were incredibly fresh, and the beef was delicious. For breakfast, the seafood donburi was also amazing and very satisfying. The onsen facilities were spacious and comfortable, making for a truly relaxing soak. Overall, the service, food, and environment were excellent. It was a very satisfying hot spring hotel experience and definitely worth recommending.

The facilities are what you'd expect from a well-established star-rated hotel, and the location is absolutely prime, making it convenient to get anywhere. The night view from the upper floors is particularly beautiful. You can pretty much book this place without a second thought. Once again, I applaud my hotel-picking skills!
