The hotel looks better in the pictures but it’s not terrible in person. It’s got an “old Hollywood motel” vibe. Yes, it’s not quite a full hotel. The door to the room I stayed in went directly to the outside parking lot. So there’s that.
Also, my padlock didn’t function properly. Not great for a room that anybody off the street can just walk up to. I had some ants in the room too. The front desk was almost NEVER there as well… So weird.
Anyways, with all that said, I didn’t HATE my time there. I wouldn’t be staying there again though. It was cheap but not by much from other surrounding spots. It would be a great place to “lay low from the law” if you had to.

The most significant aspect of staying here was the cleaning service. A service that always did such a fantastic job every day while I was at my conference. The hotel itself is old, but the rooms were spotless and taken care of.
The downfalls deal with minuscule and more of a nuisance. The outlets in the room: there was only one on every wall and made plugging in your phone or laptop very annoying. Unless you have a 6 foot cord you won’t be able to utilize it in bed. Also, the outlets are worn and the bricks will fall out regularly. An easy fix would be to furnish the nightstands with lamps that have the outlets built in. Lastly is the parking. If you drive anything larger than a SUV, parking will be difficult for you. It wasn’t busy and had no problem parking, but busier weeks may leave you with little to no space I. The very compact tight lots.
Don’t let these things hinder you from staying here. Lord willing, I will be coming back each year for my conference.

Coming from a long drive and coming to rest with the wife and noticeing blood on the sheets and a big stain on blanket and roaches on wall or when using the restroom at nite and having that feeling roaches are crawling not good and trying to see if they could fix all that and the only solutions from everything is that i have to remake the bed because they have no service wow thats all i have to say wow it wont let me post the pictures but i have pictures of the room.

Most parking is around back on the second floor and then people take the stairwells down to the first floor if they have a first floor room.
There is a 8 1/2 x 11 laminated sheet on the desk about the safety of the area not leaving valuables in the car and making sure you’re door is locked. So it’s a tiny bit sketchy, but 20-30 min to a lot of attractions.
There is a grab and go breakfast at the office. It has Nutri-Grain bars and little breakfast cracker packets. No orange juice or breads.
We had a downstairs room, and it was obvious that above our shower, there was a leak at some point from the upstairs shower. So they had patched the ceiling in the wall was a little bit warped.
I love the fact that has a mini fridge and microwave. I would stay here again.

Room was adequate and liked having fridge and micro wave. Nice hot water from shower. Bed very comfortable.
Door was hard to open
Grounds nice and parts were closed off
Liked being by the pool and hot tub
Parking , had to go around the block and park in the back

Definitely a good option for a non-picky person who doesn't want to spend a ton of money. The place is outdated and needs a few repairs but it's totally functional. The proximity to the highways meant most of our drives were 15 minutes or less, or we went to the North Hollywood Metro station to take the train. The concierges were very nice and helpful, especially the one working at night. Parking was a little tight but at least it's there. Towels and sheets were clean although kind of thin. Bathroom was also clean. Our king room was huge compared to a typical hotel room and the mini fridge actually kept our stuff cold. I would stay here again

Hotel needs to be ulrefurbished. Ice machine and Japanese garden out of service. Area is very noisy. Could here the other rooms doors and steps and is very noisy as it’s by the highway. Need to have some soundproofing on the rooms. Excellent location though

The hotel is very run-down, and the air conditioning is extremely noisy, making it impossible to sleep at night if it's turned on. Not only does the hotel not offer breakfast, but it also doesn't provide water. A bottle of water costs $4. Closing the door normally results in the internal bolt automatically locking, leaving us freezing outside for 15 minutes until the front desk staff used a professional tool to open it. The toilet has an unpleasant odor and is quite small.
