Hotels near Rifle Wall in Sydney

This is an experience!!! The room was perfect and large and comfortable. We did animal view room with a great Koala just feet from us. So cool. The tour of the sanctuary was so fun and the perfect length in time. Having continual access to the zoo was great and we did sections a little at a time as we were coming and going. The breakfast was really nice for an included breakfast. The views are excellent. Utilizing the bus and ferry to go back and forth to Sydney was simple and easy. I don't know if we will make it back to Sydney, but if we do, we will absolutely be staying here again.

I’ve noticed aggressive feedback below and I want to advocate this awesome place. I’ve stayed in the room in March and then In June with my partner.I confirm that WiFi requires attention since it’s too too poor but I’m glad that while I was here, the management has been working on that issue. That’s true that Reception isn’t 24/7 but this is Boutique Hotel for people who aren’t familiar with term, it doesn’t mean luxury all inclusive Conrad by Hilton hotel that’s why don’t expect room service, 24/7 front desk service, towel swans and etc. In addition, beautiful and friendly ladies at the reception go extra miles to ensure that you feel comfortable and like at home. The room isn’t big but stylish if you’d like more space go for room with balcony and you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea,which you may find at the reception complimentary, early in the morning looking at the Potts Point. Besides, LOCATION, this is the best,the most convenient location in Sydney! You can walk to Opera House,CBD or get the train to Bondi Beach staying away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Also, Potts Point has a soul and you may be bewitched by the spirit of this area. To sum up, don’t hesitate about the hotel, it’s gem of the area and you can definitely enjoy the time here if you don’t expect more than the hotel positioned itself. P.S. Located in The Rocks, walking distance to Circular Quay. Need to be a mountain goat to walk here, especially with luggage. Once dropped off, explore the beautiful Rocks area. I caught the train to Circular Quay, where the Opera House and Harbour Bridge is. Then walked up many, many stairs to get here. Well worth it. Very modern, even though it's built over an archaeological site of part of the old Rocks area. Beautifully done and preserved. Room was very modern and clean, albeit expensive for a double ensuite room. But i did not mind paying for the location and cleanliness. Bathroom modern and clean. Lockers available for long term hire. I can not rate it highly enough The rooftop of this hostel!!?? Absolutely second to none. Perfect views of the Opera House, Bridge and harbour

I stayed at Crown Towers Perth in Sep 2022 and June 2023. I also stayed in Crown Towers Melbourne in Dec 2022. Thus, the next logical move is to stay in Crown Towers Sydney to complete my experience in staying at all 3 Crown Towers Hotel in Australia. I finally did that. Stayed at Crown Towers Sydney from 3 Nov to 8 Nov 2023. Today is 8 Nov 2023 and I will be checking out shortly. I stayed at an opera king room which has views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. The room was very well lit and nice. Just the appropriate size for a sole traveller. I also managed to try most of the restaurants in Crown Towers Sydney except Yoshii Omakase which is so hard to book and Silks. I did not managed to book Yoshii even when it opened for booking. Guess too many people booking. I tried Epicurean for breakfast, dinner at A’Mare, Nobu, Woodcut and Oncore by Clare Smyth. I did not try Silks since being an Asian Chinese, I normally do not eat Chinese food when I go holiday. Got to try other food instead. My favourite restaurant is undoubtedly Oncore where I ordered the 7 course seasonal tasting menu. Superb. Woodcut was also good where I ordered their sirloin steak. Nobu was also nice as it completed my tour of all 3 Nobu in Australia having previously eaten at Nobu Perth and Melbourne when I stayed at Crown Towers there. For Nobu , I ordered the X Haku Omakase which is 5 course. The star of the course was the lobster. Overall I have enjoyed my stay in here. As Sarah Brightman is coming to Sydney in Aug to Oct 2024, I have already booked my tickets to watch her performance at Sydney Opera House in Sep 2024 and also booked a 4 night stay at Crown Towers Sydney again. For the future, I do hope Crown Towers Sydney can have a Crystal Club for breakfast like what Perth and Melbourne has. Also, hope to see more shops/entertainment areas at Crown and also a provision/gift/snack shop here at Crown Towers Sydney.

From the first steps in front door of hotel to reception area I felt welcome. This friendly welcoming professional attitude makes you feel like part of the hotel family quickly. My room was lovely and spacious. The bathroom was well equipped and the Dyptique products are tops. The observation lounge was comfortable and the drinks divine. Staff there is very capable. The spa pool and facilities excellent. I wanted to have the Sunday high tea and although the tearoom was full staff was able to arrange for me and my guests to enjoy it in the lounge. And it was perfect. Finally the ginger flower signature scent is relaxing and heightened my experience. I will always chose Langham first whenever I can.

I stayed here this week for four nights. I have stayed at many hotels across Sydney, but Hotel Challis is now at the top of my list. Super quiet location, clean air conditioned rooms. Wonderful relaxing terrace to sit and chill. Close to fabulous coffee and food, and also the Andrew (Boy) Charlton swimming pool where I swam daily. The manager Nicole and her assistant Victoria are just wonderful. So very kind and excellent communication. I can’t wait to return here, thank you so much Nicole and Victoria for running such a fabulous hospitality operation, and for making my stay absolutely perfect. See you soon.

The hotel is beautiful, perfectly clean and comfortable to stay in. The guest service employees were extremely helpful. While I checked out I needed to wait for about 15 minutes for housekeeping to check my room whether I consumed anything from the mini bar. That was the only thing that made me uncomfortable. But overall I’m satisfied and I would definitely come back.

A small private hotel in a white area, check out time at 10 o'clock, a bit regrettable. It takes a few minutes to walk to the pier. You can only take a ferry if you don’t have a car. It runs every hour at night. Opposite is City, convenient. There are no restaurants nearby. Some details in the room are not hygienic, which is a failure. Everything else is good. The owner should be a westerner, check in basically requires English information contact, self-service key picking, and there is no receptionist. This is an Australian characteristic.

Best view in the world , even better customer service and bar much more attentive really enjoy visiting here but feel this year it was even better just a great location , friendly staff from concierge through to the guys at the rear entrance just great

It was comfortable because it was newly built. First of all, the kitchen facilities are cleaned, but due to the nature of the hostel, they are not very clean. There is only one refrigerator and it is very small. There is no space to do laundry. I understood it because it was a recently built space. There was no air conditioning in the room so I almost died from the heat. I finally started playing through inquiries. I don't know if they make the bed in the room or not. Even before it's organized, people come in to check in and use the space they used right away. Hygiene seemed to be okay though. It smelled a bit like paint. And they said the key deposit in the beginning I received an additional $45 on top of the original amount. I was shocked to hear that I had to write a review to get it back. I wrote a review but Even though it's been 2 days since I returned home after checking out. That $45 hasn't arrived yet. So, I am editing the review and uploading it again. Even though $45 may seem small, I think everyone knows that it is not a small amount. I think it would be good if you understand this and come here.
