I recently stayed at AB Hotel Hikone and had an exceptional experience. I used it for a long time, but the cospa was very good. Surrounding: Despite the good access in front of Hikone Station, it is quiet and comfortable because there are few car streets at the east exit, which is the opposite exit of the station exit in the downtown area. Since the nearest convenience store is opposite the station, some people may feel a little distance ... There are taverns and Italians on the lower floor, and Chinese and Japanese, Western and Chinese restaurants just outside the hotel. If you go to the opposite exit of the station, there are many Al Plaza and bars. On the east exit side of the hotel, there are drugstores, ion town, Lawson, comeda, sushiro, bronco Billy, ramen shop, etc., about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Room: 13m2 with 140cm beds. There is a white-based wallpaper, a large window, and you don't feel pressure. The window is closed because many insects come in. There is a humidified air purifier in each room, and if you put water in automatic mode, you don't have to dry it. There are air conditioners, TVs, refrigerators, desks and chairs. There are two outlets on the desk and ２ next to the bed. The desk is large enough to put a computer on and work, and the lighting is bright and easy to work. The bed has a booklight and the mattress is also advertised, so it's comfortable to sleep in. Another pillow can be borrowed at the front desk. The shower is a type that switches to the washbasin when water is supplied. You have to adjust the two faucets, warm and cold water, by yourself. Breakfast: from 6:30 to 9:00 on weekdays and 9:30 on Saturdays and Sundays can be eaten in the lounge on the second floor. The staple food is several kinds of bread and toaster such as croissant, waffle, milk bread, and two kinds of corn flakes, and pilaf. There are daily side dishes, seasoned boiled *, scrambled eggs and sausages. The daily side dishes were chicken ＆ avocado and ginger chicken, and there were two types depending on the day. Drinks include daily soup, local miso soup, smoothies, coffee, orange juice, etc. There is also a take-out box where you can eat in your room. At the end of my stay, I renovated the lounge space, and I placed desks and chairs in a place where I could work and spend time slowly except for breakfast. I think I will use this hotel again if I have a chance.

Toyoko Inn in Shiga Prefecture has four buildings between maibara and Otsu between about 50 ㎞. There are several prefectures that seem to be very difficult to take measures against corona and renewal necessary in each building. There may be no change in facilities, but is it a bed making called dube style? Hikone Kan is a 14 story building and has a parking lot of 500 yen per night in the premises, but many parking lots near Hikone station are less than 450 yen, and still full of cars outside various prefectures. I happened to be given a room with a good view in the upper floor room. However, the noise of the railway under my eyes was great. ２ private railways running in both were not very good, but JR in the aorta echoed. It seems that there is a problem with the point and the joint, and it was surprised by the noise of the special rapid train which did not stop, and the freight train which runs frequently all night. When I got off the first floor at breakfast, I didn't care about the passing train, so it might be a feature of the upper floor of Lake Biwa. I forgot the member ka―do. I heard that I was looking for the next customer at the front desk. The customer was over 150 points. It seems that there are some more terrible people. But why do you save up to that? Now the member ca―d is also an elevator and room ki―. Registered the point to the app and received a separate temporary ca―d.

I chose Daiwa because of its location is by the lake location and not too far away from Kurokabe distance. Daiwa is famous for good price performance ratio, meaning not expensive room rate yet providing quality room and service. The hotel lobby is grand, and you pick up the bathroom amenities at lobby yourselves. Check in was smooth but you have to bring your own luggage to your room. The hotel charge you Yen 500 for parking per night but give you Yen 500 voucher in return which you can spend in the hotel, not a bad deal. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus service to the Nagahama station for hotel guests if you are not driving. Even taking a taxi from the station to hotel is not more than 5 minutes. The station is just a few minutes walks to the famous Kurokabe Plaza and its surrounding waling streets. Yukata is available on each floor lobby where you pick your selection and size. We were allocated at the corner room which is very spacious, overlooking the lake and the pier, with windows on two sides, and therefore, very bright when the weather is sunny. We reserved a dinner in the booking with the hotel. The dinner is served in the function. It was a multi course dinner with various cooking method of Omi beef, including stew, hot pot and grill, plus a variety of other dishes such as sashimi. Server is very good and the staff are trying hard to communicate with us in English. The onsen on the ground floor is not very big, but the two nights we stayed are Friday and Saturday, so there were extremely many people. There is a souvenir shop which opens until 9pm, a bit early. After we checked out the hotel, we walked around the Nagahama Castle Park which is five minutes walk away from hotel. The castle was built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in the sixteen century but the current castle is a re-built. We dined at the hotel lobby tea lounge for lunch. But the meal was probably the worst meal I have ever had in Japan over the years. I think a tea should be fine with a good view of the lake. The location of the hotel, and the service quality makes an ideal choice when staying in Nagahama.

３ We stayed １ in early month. Because it is just at the entrance of the maibara station Shinkansen, access is uncomplained. However, the choice of Tel is almost the choice here. There is a supermarket near the station, but it is closed in late hours. There are no shops around. There is a convenience store in Naka station, but it is closed late at night, so in that case go to Family Mart behind the hotel. It is about ３ minutes walk from the hotel. I was impressed by the ”meet God” when I found this Family Mart because the hotel clothes were ２３ hours past. The room and service are ”safe, stable Toyoko Inn”. There is no more or less.

The next morning was early, so I used it for a night stay. It is very easy to spend with amenities. If you can charge it here at a cheap price, it's enough. I will use it again.

There is a space that makes you think it is a resort somewhere at first glance. I went on a day trip, and the store is waiting in line with full seats everywhere. It is recommended to aim at the opening time disclosure. Some families are picnicing outside on a nice day. It's a place to relax and spend time on the terrace! Parking situation The parking lot is crowded, so there is a second parking lot on the street opposite the store. It is just over the railroad crossing, so it is closer to the third, fourth and fifth parking lot. Still more than half empty? For some reason, the first parking lot is not allowed to enter by full car, and the parking lot is not allowed to wait for the empty, and the parking lot person advances except the second parking lot.
