The poorly prepared food, the smelly room, because it was smokers, the smelly carpet, the cleaning service on time, but the room was terrible smokers

The room smelled of mold/mildew. The carpets looked to be from the 70's. The air conditioner did not work well, had to go buy a fan to keep cool. Our stay was for 5 days checked out after 2 days but was only refunded for 2 days due to staff not noting I had been standing at the checkout desk for 15 minutes prior to check out time so by the time she got to me it was after checkout time. Will not stay here again.

Unit on its way down. Pool pavers all sinking and uneven creating trip hazards. There were no grills like flyer stated. One elevator out other one slow ( faster to take stairs to 4th floor) Coffee canter broken but yet they filled it up every day!? When I mentioned it they would say “ yes I know “

Like the hot tub and pool. Upon entering the room, the smell of mildew hits you. Very musty, unbearable. Asked for another room that did not have this smell but same problem. Dirty toilet in 1st room and broken deadbolt

The evening, front desk reception was NOT friendly or professional on any level of customer service. I have a witness that can confirm. She was on her cell phone when we arrived. We had to to get her attention because of cell phone attachment. When we did get her to focus on our reservation, she was cold and quite impersonal. When she asked for my driver's license I gave it to her. When she asked for my email address I gave it and simply asked for her to repeat it. She deleted it and argued with me about deleting it. The next day upon checkout I was told by management that I was no longer welcomed back. When I asked if the management wanted to hear my version of events she said no. Again, I have a witness to the entire interaction. I will be writing a lengthy letter to this hotels management and to the local NAACP for the unprofessional treatment of a guest.

Room was very clean, friendly staff, adequate breakfast. Only issue was the hallway smelled very bad. The room was perfectly fine and clean however. Clearly newer carpets in the rooms so assume hallways will be next. Other than that absolutely no issues.
