This is by far the worst hotel that I’ve ever stayed in. The room was filthy on arrival with blood stained pillows, sticky residue on the patio table, dirt and stains in the bathroom and balcony. The balcony had broken glass panels, the hot water tap in the bathroom didn’t work. The taps were coated in limescale. We asked every day for a different room and were refused until 15 hours before check out. The room wasn’t cleaned once during our stay despite us asking every single day. The “restaurant” is at best, a soup kitchen…the food is dire. Hot food is almost cold, the fruit was manky, the coffee was cold and there was cross contamination. The dining room has a foot wide grid running the full length of it which emits a foul stench of stagnant water. The ‘entertainment’ room looks like a crèche with a poor excuse of a bar. The cocktails were poured from a carton into a plastic, nibbled beaker. The outside area was filthy with cigarette butts littered around. Obviously, we complained and the Jet2 rep was also complaining on our behalf but still nothing was done. The guest relations manager, Laura, said that her maintenance and housekeeping team had informed her that they had carried out all repairs and cleaned the room…they didn’t. I asked her to inspect our room….she refused. On returning to the room on our last night around 9pm, we found a card from reception stating that they had a room for us to move into. We were checking out the following morning!!! However, in the main room, in our absence they had installed a baby cot…. I rang reception and was informed that it had been put there for the guests moving in the next day!!! I am astonished at the amount of good reviews that this place has because I have never encountered such abject filth and squalor in any accommodation that I have stayed in. The staff were rude, uninterested and uncaring. Needless to say that I am currently working with ABTA to obtain a full refund.

We stayed last week in February. We try and avoid half term as we like less children in the resort. We were in block C it was a bit out the way and was an OK room. It was clean and the cleaner called everyday. Bed Linen was good and lovely pillows. Aircon worked in lounge. It did seem a bit weak but in February it was adequate. There was a fan in main bedroom that we had difficulty keeping g oing on at night. Again it didn’t make any difference to our holiday. The apartment was clean. If a little tired. The pipes in the bathroom were a bit rusty and the net curtains were a little of the rail. The electric fitting behind the TV was loose and could be seen under the tv. All this did not spoil our holiday but gave an overall impression of needing a bit of T & C. We have been 4 times to this hotel and we like it. (2 older people). Now the good stuff. The food was very good this time. Lots of choice. Sometimes a bit cold but I always microwave mine. The only disappoint is they have again decided to shut the pool bar at 6pm. It was much nicer when they opened it later. The chairs in the main bar are a bit uncomfortable and it lacks atmosphere with 3 large TV’s in there it’s more for sports fans not people on holiday. We sat by the middle pool and had plenty of space and sun beds with umbrellas. The heated pool was full though. The staff are friendly. This resort is about 90 mins from the airport but we don’t mind that. We are coming back in December so we must like it.

How to even start this review ? First impression wasn’t bad to be fair , but after we got our room everything went down a hill… room was dirty with lizards and cockroaches enjoying our company. They have changed our room eventually , but same thing again … Worst holiday ever!!!!!!!!

I was a little daunted heading away ,just me and a 3yr old ! The resort was everything I could have hoped for , lively enough to keep him entertained ,with various sized swimming and a play area . themed food nights went down very well too . In all this holiday gave me and my son the well needed play time and a great time full of memories

The staff are extremely rude in particular your reception staff. Not helpful at all. Would never stay here again. It is no where near the level of a 4 star hotel, The food is very poor and at times freezing cold. The rooms are comfortable enough but very basic, the noise from the the D block we stayed was truly awful, if you are staying with a family good luck getting to sleep before midnight which is fine for some people on holidays but not so much for kids.

First impressions were not great. We got to the hotel at 10.30pm to find that there was no toilet roll in the room, so I had to go down to reception to request some. We were allowed a cold buffet from 11pm as we arrived after the dinner slot. The food left was not nice and there wasn't anything for kids other than bread and fruit. The room was nice and clean but there were some plug sockets hanging off the wall that is dangerous for kids. We were in B block which was a quiet area of the resort. The cleaner was fantastic for our room. The all inclusive food and drink were fantastic. The only thing I would say is layout could do with improving as there wasn't much room between hot food and desserts. Also luckily we didn't have this problem, but I don't think allergies is listed very well, I did notice seeded bread on the same plate as normal bread, and having a family relative allergic to seeds, it was noticed. I do think this hotel would be ranked 4 star if you are a couple or adults visiting this resort but it is 3 star for me as we went with a young family. I don't think it is equipped for young children. The meal times doesnt suit them, I think 8am start for breakfast is too late as my daughter is usually up at 6.30. 7pm for dinner is too late in my opinion as my daughter's bedtime is usually 7.30 but I do understand routine does go out of the window when you are on holiday. The evening entertainment for children started at 9.15. It is far too late for a 3 year old, my daughter managed to stay for half an hour and then she was falling asleep. Entertainment during the day, the pool and the pool area is nice and clean but the water is very cold if the sun hasn't been on it. There is a water slide which is fun but children under 1.2m need to be accompanied. There is a kids club but is only open for 4 hours throughout the day. When we were booking excursions, the lady told us that she is used to adult only hotels so not sure about kids excursions. We wanted the duo deal for jungle park and aqualand as we thought that was better for younger children for aqualand, there was no transport for this so we had to find our own way there. It was OK but jungle park we had to get 2 buses which did make it a long day.

Where do I start!? The day we got here the AC unit didn't work so had to walk to the reception to tell them as the room didn't have a phone. Whilst waiting for maintenance we saw a giant cockroach walking about on top of the unit. Maintenance man open the unit and hit the cockroach with a flip flop which then fell on the bed underneath it. He fixed the unit and then we waited for housekeeping to come and change the bedding. The time was now 23:30 and with a 4 and 8 year old who has been travelling all-day this wasn't the best start. The next morning we were awoken at 8am by lots of banging and noise. I went out on to the balcony and realised that our room was over a row of shops and we had Rams Cash and Carry directly below us bringing out all his stuff from his shop onto the street. There was also a lorry delivering goods to another shop making a racket. Once we were up for the day we decided to have a look around and find out more about the hotel. We found out the kids entertainment and mini disco didn't start until 21:15 every night and finished around 22:00. My kids absolutely love the mini discos but with them starting so late and knowing we were going to be woken up every morning by Mr Ram and his cash and carry we startedto wonder how much sleep they were going to get if they went to the disco every night. Anyway, we let them go the first night and then got them back to bed around 22:15. At around 23:15 they were promptly woken up by everyone returning to their rooms after the adults show that finished at 23:00. We were in room A102 - if you ever go here on holiday and are given this room, refuse it! Everybody in block A has to walk past this room to access the stairs to reach their rooms and obviously many people have had a drink etc and it is extremely loud. The next night we didn't let the kids go to the disco as they were tired and instead got woken up at 22:00 by someone with a pressure washer washing down the grounds outside the room and the sun beds! Why the hell does this need to be done at 22:00?? Other issues we had with the room was that it didn't have a kettle and 2 of the plug sockets were hanging out of the wall which is obviously dangerous. We went half board which we realised was a mistake. Everything in the restaurant is set up for the all inclusive so people could help themselves to drinks etc. As we were half board we obviously had to pay but when we asked how to get a drink whilst we were eating our meal we were told we would have to go out of the restaurant and go to one of the bars to order a drink. Some nights you had to queue whilst waiting for a table to become available so it wasn't exactly ideal to have to leave the table and restaurant to go and purchase a drink whilst eating your dinner. The food actually seemed quite decent until my daughter caught a stomach bug on the 4th day. We hadn't eaten anywhere else so we knew it had definitely come from the hotel restaurant. She was sick for 4 days which stopped u

This is a lovely hotel and they're getting a lot of things right, the pools, staff, ambience, entertainment and all inclusive offer are all excellent. It's a great family hotel and it felt very safe for my children. There's enough to do nd even though it's a quieter area we were happy going from the pools to the park and walking down to the beach. The rooms are clean but would benefit from a revamp, however this is reflected in the price and I would say this is the best value resort in tenerife. I was slightly disappointed by the gluten free offer, it was very mixed depending on who you encountered in the restaurant and I had to hang around the kitchen area for gluten free bread for breakfast. Some days they were very kind and made me gluten free pancakes but this was only on a couple of occasions and so I mainly had yoghurt and fruit for breakfast which was fine. A small gluten free area with it's own cereal etc would have been more convenient. Also the buffet has no allergen information, they did provide me with a menu to order in advance but when I mentioned I had done this the waiting staff seemed confused. In the end I stuck to meat/salad and potatoes from the buffet which was also fine but a bit repetitive. I would book again, with a bit more organisation re allergy information it would have been an excellent stay.
