Guest UserThe room had everything I needed. And the bed was comfortable. The hotel has a laundry area, so I was able to wash and dry clothes. There was also a microwave in the lounge room, which came in handy on days I didn’t want to eat out.
There are a few convenience stores close by, with a 7-eleven next door.
It was really easy to walk to the metro lines and Kanda station was well linked to the rest of the city.
The area was quiet at night, which I liked after a busy day.

Guest UserThis is a great hotel! They provide toiletries, pajamas, and even charging cables and curling irons, so you really don't need to bring anything when staying at a Sotetsu series hotel. Although this particular branch in Jimbocho is a bit of a walk from the station, the area is full of bookstores and restaurants, making for a fantastic atmosphere.

gnahiyThis was my second time staying at this place, will continue booking with Sotetsu Fresa Inn if i ever visit Tokyo again. Bed was big for a solo traveller. Super clean and tidy. Basic hower amenities were provided and other items such as toothbrush, hairbrush, bath salts were available near the reception. Super convenient location too

Joanna FranklinAlways a good idea to stay in Kayabacho. This hotel is on exit 7 of Kayabacho station (2 mins walk)
Transport: You will have access to the Tozei and Hibiya line (Metro) Tokyo station is walkable as well.
Nearby: Yoshinoya, Sukiya and Saizeriya. Lots of other restaurants but these are our go to.
Check in is at 3pm. They do keep your bag if you come earlier and store it up to 10pm on day of check out.
Breakfast is with the Pronto cafe linked to the hotel, not big breakfast but can get 2 cups of coffee.

YefengmiwenqilaixiangziyouThis feels like a typical Japanese home, and it's super close to the Kamo River. If you want to experience what it's like to live in a Japanese rental, I highly recommend it. It has a kitchen where you can cook, and the surrounding area has a strong local vibe. In the mornings, you can hear bicycles and residents greeting each other on the street – it's a very immersive experience.
On the downside, the room uses a key code lock. However, the hotel sent the code after we had already arrived in Japan, and since we didn't have a laptop or email access, we couldn't see it. This led to us having to call customer service late at night to get the code. (There were no staff members at the guesthouse itself.) I suggest including the key code directly on the Ctrip order next time. Thanks.

AisibiyuehecengFacilities: Relatively new, but the room is quite small. You can fit two suitcases, though.
Hygiene: Clean.
Service: The self-service machine is simple and convenient to use.
Environment: Very quiet 🤫 in a residential area. It's about a 6-minute walk from the subway station to the hotel.
On the way:
Suitcase maneuverability (4/5)

The transportation here is incredibly convenient! You've got everything you need right outside the door – food, drinks, entertainment, you name it! Seriously, if you can think of it, you'll find it here.
The convenience store downstairs is a bit small, but it still meets most guests' needs. And the ice cream? Absolutely worth getting one every single day!

Kevin Jean Leedecent hotel. The rooms are very small, but there are self-service bath salts, face masks, and skincare samples downstairs. Perhaps because I visited during art week, the prices were exceptionally high, around $100 USD, which I didn't think was very worthwhile

HuangwuxieThis hotel is super convenient! It's right by a subway station and a convenience store. It's also really close to central Shinjuku, and you can walk to Kabukicho Ichibangai in just over 10 minutes. Self check-in is a breeze, and you can store your luggage here too. Plus, you can grab complimentary toiletries and bath amenities from downstairs. There are also a few small restaurants right across the street, which is really handy for meals.

Angela❤️The hotel offers complimentary masks and skincare products. The room I booked was a bit small (comfortable for one person, but a couple might need to 'cultivate their relationship' a bit more to fit in! 🤣).
**Surroundings:** A 12-minute walk 🚶♂️➡️ to Ginza (popular shopping area). A 30-minute bullet train 🚅 ride to Senso-ji Temple (popular attraction). A 37-minute bullet train 🚅 ride to Shibuya (popular attraction).
**Food Recommendations ⭐⭐⭐**
* GINZA TONKATSU SAITO: A 17-minute bullet train 🚅 ride away (the fried pork cutlet 🥩 is super juicy, highly recommend!). Around 4000 JPY per person.
* UNAGI YOSHIKAWA SHIBUYA BRANCH: Great to try when you're in Shibuya. Around 2500-3000 JPY per person.
* Natural Taiyaki at Senso-ji Temple.
