This is a very well-run hotel and one of the nicest in the Tulum hotel-district. The prices are reasonable and the staff is attentive and helpful. The cenote and surrounding deck are very attractive and relaxing and you will be very well looked after. The two less attractive aspects of this establishment for us were the limited menu at the main restaurant (seriously, there are only four or five decent dishes) and the incessant rave style music played a DJ 18 hours a day. Seriously, it is akin to water torture and disturbs what is otherwise a lovely peaceful area.
One other detail worth noting is the difficulty getting in and out of the "hotel/beach area". Taxis there notoriously charge $50-60 each way just to take you to and from the hotels area to the "downtown" shopping area- which is only about 4.5 miles away. Also, stores and restaurants near the hotel charge a premium for modest/average merchandise and service because... once you are there in the hotel area you are literally a captive audience - not the fault of the hotel, of course. Just FYI
