Still a little old,
There are many old men and women inside,
It looks a little bit old-age.
The room is a bit old,
But very clean.
The restroom is very small.
There was only a can of body soap inside.
There are hiking trails nearby.

We stayed 4 nights. We choosed a room with view "montagne". The room is well decorated, with a sofa suitable as 3rd bed (if needed). The bathroom is so small that the washbasin is in the room itself. As the house is an old mansion, the windows are rather small, so the room has a tendency to be dark. There is no fridge and no air conditioning in the room. We received a small bottle of water each day. The house keeping was low cost, as can witness the little spot of mud on the floor that we did the very first day and throughout all our stay. The view "montagne" was nice but not quiet as it gives on the parking and the main entrance. We had every night the nuisance of "jolly people"! The breakfast was good. Large choice of bred, cold meat, smoked salmon, local cheese, yogurt and muesli. You could have eggs (omelet, fried egg, boiled) but you have to fill a form in order to have it. You do the job of the waiter! The pool with the little spa is nice after a hiking day. This hotel needs some improvements to be a really good hotel, it has the potential. A breathtaking view on the lake and a very beautiful building doesn't make it all !

Hôtel from the 70's. Nothing changed. Poor service. For the dinner, we had to choose between three proposals like in a cheap holiday resort. In addition, the waiter had an inappropriate behaviour. The management comes but didn't change the waiter. Unprofessional. The view is great, the location too. Unfortunately, it does not everything. Avoid it.

We had a lovely time in this hotel, the location is wonderful and the room had a beautiful view over the lake. Whilst the hotel itself is rather old we weren't troubled too much by noise, from other guests or the road below.
The spa is great; lovely swimming pool, jacuzzi and a sauna outside which looks over the lake! We also had a massage which was superb.
Only thing which really lets this hotel down is its restaurant. Breakfast is fine but dinner was really quite bad, especially considering the price! Even though we loved the hotel itself I'm not sure we'd go back because of the food. It's such a shame because the terrace and the lake view makes it the perfect place to have dinner and watch the sunset.

The FloraAlpina is a very a**ospheric hotel in a beautiful location. The staff is friendly and warm. The wellness area is not particularly large, but with its outdoor area overlooking the landscape it is very attractive. The price/performance ratio is good, even in the hotel's own restaurant. The breakfast is plentiful. It is advisable to arrange a table reservation for dinner in the restaurant on site and not to be tied to a time that is not convenient for you. We stayed at the hotel over the Easter holidays. There were sweets at breakfast and an Easter egg hunt with prizes. That was very nice. Unfortunately, the hotel has not had access to the lake for a few years now. It is therefore not possible to swim in the lake in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

In March 2024 we took part in a Peter Denlo crime weekend here. Although the furnishings in our rather small room are a bit dated, we felt very comfortable. Everything was pleasantly clean and the view of Lake Lucerne from the room was fantastic. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful. The egg dishes (scrambled eggs, omelettes, etc.), which the kitchen prepared exactly according to the guests' wishes, were great. You have to get the coffee yourself from the self-service buffet. The dinners were really well prepared and served in a beautifully presented manner (with flower decorations on the edge of the plate). We really enjoyed it. The hotel staff are friendly and pleasantly attentive. Guests can use a small spa area, which has various saunas, a whirlpool and a swimming pool (which was still closed at the beginning of March). There are guest parking spaces in front of the house, some of which are even covered. With its three stars, the Flora Alpina met all our expectations, even exceeded them, especially when it came to the culinary part. And so we are happy to recommend this hotel.

From the welcome to the services, everything was perfect! Idyllic location with breathtaking views of the lake! A panoramic terrace to share magnificent sunsets. A kitchen worthy of this 3 star rating and very good quality bedding. We stayed there for 2 quiet and relaxing nights despite a wedding during our stay! We recommend this establishment and will definitely return.
