The West Hollywood Edition

West Hollywood|1.08km from Louis Stern Fine Arts
Let me start with the positive. It’s a beautiful hotel that is very minimalism and I stayed in a loft terrace room which was spacious and comfortable and had a great view of the city. In addition as a Titanium member they offered me an upgrade to a suite but as it didn’t have a view I decided against it. Now for the staff and management. I had a charge added to my bar tab that I did not authorise and a valet charge added when I did not valet park. Two staff members here were dishonest and the management, both front office and director of sales seem to think that this is acceptable and did not apologise. They did refund me those charges. And give me back the resort fee. But they told me there was no wrong doing happening at the hotel. I am of the opinion that if someone in the bar adds a service tip that was not authorised that this is fraud. It was a purposeful and deliberate act with the expectation that I would not notice. And clearly an understanding that the management would let it slide. I have spent over 80 nights in Marriott hotels this year, including more expensive brands than this hotel and I’ve had better experiences and better management. Any hotel that allows employees to commit fraud and says no wrong doing happened and does NOT apologise should be investigated and anyone who stays at this hotel should be weary. I’d strongly advise double checking your folio when you leave the hotel. I’m very, very disappointed with this hotel management and Marriott. Be warned.

The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills

We enjoyed our stay at the London this past weekend. We were greeted warmly by Matthew at check-in, who accommodated our request for the view we wanted. The rooms were just as we remembered -- large and comfortable, with plentiful storage and beautiful bathrooms. The breakfast buffet was great, and we loved the lobby bar area, which was new since our last visit! The bar hostess on Saturday evening was especially friendly and welcoming. A lovely way to start our evening. Our only disappointment was with the pool staff this past Saturday. We'd been looking forward to a relaxing afternoon but there was a group of guests throwing a football across the pool for quite a while, often missing their mark. The pool servers completely ignored this. We saw a family with little kids almost get hit. Finally, we approached two staff members and kindly asked them to intervene but they were indifferent. We also had to ask them to remove several empty cups left by previous guests after dropping off our order. Not sure how they didn't notice the trash there. The London is otherwise lovely, so we'd love to see an improvement in their pool staff next time we visit. That would make a big difference in the guest experience.

Lots of small things add up to the best imaginable hotel stay. A glass of wine for the late arrival after a long drive. Front desk staff having an amazing and positive vibe. High quality of service and attention to detail. The cleanest and nicest room I've stayed in. The pool in this hotel was gorgeous and extremely inviting. The location was in walking distance to some amazing restaurants and other fun attractions. All in all this hotel has earned an A+ in my book and a guaranteed forever returning customer. Thank you Le Parc Suite Hotel and AMAZING STAFF for giving me an unforgettable experience.
Sunset Tower Hotel

This magical hotel never disappoints! The location, the sophisticated decor and design and the truly magical staff really make each guest feel like a Hollywood movie star. There really is very few Hotel experiences like a stay at The Sunset Tower left in the typically over-commoditised large hotel chain experience bland world. For anyone who doesn’t just want to visit and look at, but be feel part of Hollywood while in one of the worlds most exciting cities - I really couldn't recommend The Sunset Tower Hotel any stronger. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Thank you.
