A nice comfortable hotel with helpful friendly staff who are easy to communicate with in person or by phone.
The hotel is located towards the top part of West Cliff which is good for walking downhill towards centre of town but also the hotel is within a very short walk to the sea view and beach.

The price is not high, the health is general, the most important thing is that there is no parking space, it is very inconvenient, and you have to pay an extra amount.

The room is very simple and the price is not high. It should be said that it is more appropriate to be a homestay. The bathroom water is very small and there is basically no service.

They are all girls who love to be clean. It’s good, the world cannot exist without girls. It’s just that it’s hard to find it when it’s dark. The train was delayed for the first time and I couldn’t find the way late at night. Google Navigation sucked me and went around to the other side. There was also a little fox with green eyes. It was the only one at night. Just the green eyes are dazzling, and the hair on the hair is standing on end. The next day I discovered that the road next to it was a cemetery. It's quite scary. It's easy to find at dawn.

CCarlosOur staying at the Witching Post Inn could have not been better. Our room was spacious and very confortable. And the place has a lot of personality and history. If you want to know the roots of this place you can speak to the landlord, Pete. But more important Pete makes you feel at home, as you are part of the family. The stories, the jokes and the environment in the pub is so cosy that makes you feel you are between friends. And don't look anywhere else for food and drinks. We had dinner in here during the Parmo night, and the food was fantastic, one of the best we had in the area. And this includes the beer and gins. Also, we vouch for the breakfast, the full breakfast is delicious and we couldn't get enough of it. If you are staying the area, please do yourself a favor and stay at the Witching Post Inn. I am glad we chose this place for our staying, and a big thanks to Pete and all the staff for the lovely and welcoming staying

GGuest UserThe overall hotel facilities, including the room facilities, are very old, the windows cannot be opened at all, which makes the room very hot, but the scenery nearby is very good. You need to climb the mountain to get to the hotel, but considering its price, it is still very good in the UK.

GGuest UserCosy pub/ restaurant with rooms. Nice situation. Quaint. I liked the ambience, it was nice that the antiquated old decor remained it gave the place authentic charm. Lovely outdoor garden. Easy access to Whitby and surrounding walking routes.
I enjoyed the coffee and tea in our bedroom. There was a lovely platter of bread cheese and cake awaiting us on arrival
