The hotel staff were very warm, attentive, and gentle. The hotel is quite close to West Lake scenic area, and they have robots delivering meals, which my kids loved. They can also guide us to our rooms. The smart rooms have Xiao Du (a smart assistant) which you can use to control things like closing curtains and turning on the TV. The hotel's overall environment is also very good. My experience was pretty satisfying.

It's hard to believe you can book such a great and clean hotel in Hangzhou for just over 200 yuan! I accidentally booked a room without a window, but thanks to the fresh air system, it didn't affect my stay at all. The housekeeping staff replenished the tea bags daily, and there's a smart assistant (Xiao Du) available. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and patiently guided me on how to upgrade my room. Borrowing an umbrella and tape was also very convenient. The location is unbeatable – it's within walking distance to West Lake, Hubin Yintai, and Hefang Street. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

I heard about the 'Toilet Lid Hotel' in Huzhou, and after a quick search online, I was instantly captivated. I booked a 3-day, 2-night package. Arriving in the evening, the scenic drive along Taihu Lake was breathtaking. Looking at the 'Toilet Lid' building in the distance, nestled by the lake, it truly looked like a sparkling pearl on Taihu Lake, absolutely stunning. Upon arrival, we first drove around the hotel to experience the charm of the 'Toilet Lid' up close. Once at the hotel, a butler was waiting to escort us to our room. Everything was perfectly arranged, making us feel right at home. They even upgraded us to a suite with a huge balcony, which was wonderful for enjoying the beautiful Taihu Lake views. I always appreciate the style of Sheraton hotels; even if the facilities are a bit older, the amenities, service, and breakfast are consistently excellent. I recommend going to breakfast a bit earlier for a wider selection. The travel photographer was also fantastic, and I absolutely loved the photos she took.

Stepping into the lobby of Shaoxing Hotel, I finally understood what it means to find luxury 'hidden' in Jiangnan. It’s not the ostentatious, gilded kind, but rather white walls and dark tiles, winding paths leading to private courtyards, like a meticulously preserved Jiangnan garden. Passing through moon gates, circling around rockeries and ponds, Fushan Mountain is just a stone's throw away, with lush tree shadows stretching right to the windows. The front desk didn't hand me a room card, but a heavy brass key tied with a silk ribbon, feeling as if it could unlock the gates of some ancient mansion. The elevator walls were adorned with ink paintings, local masters' renditions of Shen Garden – the willow branches in the painting still drooped, as if you could hear the sighs of Lu You and Tang Wan. Suddenly, I realized that a five-star rating isn't displayed on a wall; it's hidden in the details – the weight of that brass key, the warmth of a handwritten note, the uncontainable pride in the tea master's eyes when talking about tea. The next morning, I was woken by birdsong. Pulling back the curtains, an old man was practicing Tai Chi in the courtyard, each movement slow, much like the pace of this city. Breakfast was at the buffet, and beyond the Western options, there was a dedicated Shaoxing snack station – freshly fried stinky tofu, freshly wrapped ai jiao dumplings, and freshly cooked Ciwu Dajian noodles. The chef, a local auntie, muttered as she cooked, “The broth needs to be ample, the noodles firm, and the toppings freshly stir-fried for the best aroma.” When leaving, the front desk asked if my stay was enjoyable. I said it was excellent. Even after driving a long way, I looked back and could still faintly see the white walls of Shaoxing Hotel standing amidst the tree shadows. It’s not flashy, not showy, just like this city – reserving its best for those willing to slow down.

Absolutely beautiful! The room decor truly captures the essence of Jiangnan. I initially thought staying by the water would be damp and cold, but stepping into the room completely changed my mind. It was warm, very clean, and incredibly cozy. The service at Wuzhen Xizha is excellent; they even handle luggage transport. After checking in at the visitor center, you can go explore, and your luggage will be delivered to your accommodation by staff. Thumbs up! 👍 You can capture stunning views right from your room, and the breakfast is plentiful and well-balanced – so delicious! I'll definitely come back if I get the chance. Thank you! 🌹

Staying at the Huzhou Giraffe Manor Hotel during the May Day holiday was an absolutely amazing experience! Our standalone cabin was nestled in a bamboo forest, and opening the window revealed lush greenery and the fresh scent of plants filling the air. The most unforgettable part was the giraffe breakfast – seeing their adorable long necks poke into the dining area for a close-up interaction was incredibly therapeutic. The travel photography service was excellent; the photographer was professional and patient, perfectly capturing heartwarming moments with the giraffes, along with the bamboo forest and other cute animals. Every photo looked like a fairytale come to life. The park also offered a variety of animal interactions, with cute raccoons and capybaras, and the butler service was thoughtful and attentive. This is definitely the place to go for a May Day family trip, offering both natural wilderness and excellent service. Highly recommend returning!

I have to say, a five-star is still a five-star. We originally booked two nights at another hotel, but after one night, we just couldn't stand it. We checked out the next day and went straight to Hilton. From the moment we entered the lobby, I knew we made the right decision. The room was clean and tidy, the service was warm, and our child didn't even want to leave the hotel, just wanted to stay there. Breakfast was also quite rich. All in all, everything was pretty good.

The room was spacious and clean, and the hotel's location was excellent. We could walk to popular attractions like the ancient city and the Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda. However, there were a few downsides: First, the breakfast selection was quite limited. Second, the night light in the room was too bright, which seriously affected our sleep. Third, when we asked for a few extra bottles of mineral water, we were abruptly told there would be a charge (though they eventually gave them to us for free). Finally, there was no proactive communication from customer service before check-in, nor did anyone reach out to offer assistance via WeChat after we checked in.

A great place for a weekend getaway! The service was excellent; they even helped us with our luggage to the room. A special thanks to Xiao Dong for their service. We were upgraded to a lake-view room, and the balcony offered a stunning view with quaint bridges and the lake. After settling in, we walked along Nanhu Lake to Nanhu Tiandi for dinner and stumbled upon a bread festival, which was a lovely surprise and we got some great finds. Back at the hotel, we found that turndown service had been provided. The next morning, after breakfast, we headed to Haogu Pagoda. I actually wanted to go there on the first afternoon, but we couldn't find the small back entrance, and neither could several other groups who came looking later. We eventually realized it was blocked by illegally parked cars. I hope the hotel can put up a sign there to explain this. After descending the pagoda, we took another stroll around the hotel grounds to enjoy the garden scenery before leaving. We skipped Yuehe and Zicheng, which were mentioned online, as we had to head back in the afternoon, and having been to Xitang, I didn't feel the need to visit another water town; once a year is enough for me. I actually prefer places like Nanhu Tiandi. Of course, for those with more time, it's worth exploring all these places.

Traveled alone and decided to stay a night here for the room's king-sized bed for some extra comfort after 9 days of walking around Hangzhou for events and sightseeing. Demi was prompt in her responses and was able to answer my questions quickly. Check-in process was smooth and the room is clean. Amenities are good, bed is comfortable and hoarding 4 pillows at once is certainly a comforting experience after a lot of travel. Room is quiet and you can barely hear sounds from the corridor unless someone speaks really loudly. There's no bathtub, and my room has a view of Hyatt Regency. Gym is also decent and quiet. There's also a weighing scale that generates your report if you happen to be interested. Breakfast is decent. I didn't get to eat much due to a loss of appetite but the fried mushrooms were nice. The watermelons however, did not look appetizing but other guests seemed to enjoy it. Overall I think it's nice since it's really convenient. If you're arriving you should see the hotel when you're coming out from T4; if you're coming here by metro then take the elevator down and you should see it in walking distance. Signage is not exactly great but it's not too difficult to navigate around. I'd still consider staying here again if I'm returning to Hangzhou with with an early departure flight.

GGuest UserOur stay at Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou was so memorable and absolutely magnificent that highlights remain sharp, vivid, and immensely uplifting. As tea lovers, it would have been lovely enough to be back in deciduous forests with bursting red maples and bright yellow Ginko trees accentuating autumn colors surrounding the beautifully manicured Longjing (Dragon Well) tea plantations that rest quietly within the hills of the peaceful landscape so very close to the resort—next to and just across the street, in fact! However, our trip’s joys skyrocketed with our stay at the Landison. The staff was totally fantastic! Exceptional service in every way. Working with a phone translator Tracy, Brandy, Wen Yi (I hope his name is spelled correctly!), and Chris provided patient, attentive, and thorough care, concern, and heartwarming attention as they fully considered and answered our many daily questions on where to go, what to do, how to get there and back. (We were thrilled to use the excellent public transportation in and around Hangzhou. The hotel is just meters from the bus stop of two main lines. These buses provided easy connections to other main lines linking us to much of the rest of the city) Staff also guided us where to buy excellent tea, which turned out to be right there at the hotel, as well as from other lovely teashops nearby! Landison’s breakfast menu, included in our booking, remained the same throughout our stay and never disappointed. Every day we enjoyed a large selection of beautiful, delicious food that included fresh fruit, vegetables, egg dishes of differing styles, rice, dim sum, pastries, and our go-to each day: a piping hot bowl of noodles, prepared to order by the chef standing behind the varied selection of noodles and fixings! There was so much fresh, delicious, interesting, vegetarian cuisine we can’t account for the entire extensive buffet. The dining staff was totally incredible with their refined, careful, complete attention. Dining Room Manager Xu became our dear, memorable friend, offering us sweet, caring personal attention and comfort throughout our visit. We couldn’t help feeling disappointed when we didn’t see her the day before we were to leave. When we returned to the hotel for the evening and saw her through a dining room window, we popped into the area to say hello and a magical connection manifested that only world travel can provide, when the distance between two vastly different cultures disappears under the glow of human kindness, warmth, and connection. She provided such outstanding delight for us that our hearts hurt when we had to say goodbye to her. When she translated on her mobile phone, “looking forward to seeing you again,” we smiled broadly and added a very hopeful nod in agreement. Extra lovely perks included nightly delivery of a delicate, nourishing white mushroom soup to keep us warm and help us sleep, a specialty of the establishment. It was tasty and nurturing every day! The housekeeping staff was amiable and friendly, mutually acknowledging and appreciating the human relationship!  In addition, the parking area staff offered cheerful, welcoming, and happy engagement with us throughout our stay. Our extraordinary stay at the Landison is the kind of experience that highlights the vast benefits of world travel where the barriers of worldly concerns and tensions can fade away or even disappear into the significant and transformative mix and engagement with a time and place different from where we come from or know habitually. Where one realizes that, although time and place may differ considerably and provide many positive catalysts for meaningful change, the human heart and mind are inextricably linked together by way of mutual desires for happiness, well-being, safety, expression, and connection, however that may unfold in its immeasurable arrangements. Thank you very much, Landison Longjing Resort Hangzhou, for helping to create an amazing lifetime memory.

Jjacqueline0801The hotel rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are quite large. Each room has a balcony, and the rooftop garden offers views of West Lake, Baoshi Mountain, and the Baochu Pagoda. The breakfast is abundant and delicious. The location is excellent, very close to Bai Causeway, and the Wulin Night Market is right next door. The subway station is also nearby, making it convenient for getting around. Overall, it offers great value for money.

AAnonymous UserOverall, this was a good stay with some truly special aspects, but also a few areas that could be improved. The hotel is quite remote, which makes it feel very private and peaceful, surrounded by nature such as the lake, forest, and mountains. Even though we visited other viewpoints around Qiandao Lake, this location felt more special because of its quiet and secluded setting. The hotel itself feels like a destination, with scenic viewpoints, a garden with a lake, a cave, and even trekking trails to explore. The garden area includes a swan lake, which is a nice idea. However, the swans are kept in a very small netted space. It does not look great visually and feels restrictive for the animals, which took away from the experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed that was not too soft or too hard. Sound insulation was excellent, which made for great sleep. I also requested a firmer pillow, and it was provided quickly. The lake view room upgrade was a highlight. The view was stunning and made it hard to leave the room. If you stay here, I would strongly recommend booking a lake view room. The layout was nice, with both a balcony and a window view. The thick frame dividing the view slightly affected the overall feel, but it was not a major issue. The bathtub was also a nice addition. Cleaning was good overall. The AC did not work very well during the hot midday hours, although it was fine at other times of the day. Facilities such as the gym, yoga room, pool, and game room were nice additions. However, they felt quite standard for a five-star hotel, and I have experienced better quality in similar properties. One great feature was the free Tesla charging, but this was not communicated at all. We only discovered it by chance, which is a missed opportunity as it is a strong benefit. Breakfast was acceptable but not at the expected level. The coffee and bakery were the weakest parts. Ordering is done via QR code instead of in person, which felt a bit impersonal for a luxury hotel atmosphere. Service during breakfast also felt a bit off, as staff seemed focused on their tasks and were not very proactive in guiding or prioritizing guests, which made the experience feel less warm and not the kindest. Service was generally kind and friendly, but inconsistent at times. Some staff could benefit from additional training, as not everyone followed typical five-star service standards such as greeting guests or offering priority. Another disappointment was the welcome fruit, which was included in our package but not provided on arrival. After we asked, a staff member came carrying items for multiple rooms in a bag and handed us just one apple and one peach. This felt unprofessional although something very small. Another point worth noting is that the hotel was originally booked as an InterContinental, but about 1-2 weeks before arrival it was no longer part of the brand (somehow on Trip.com it still says intercontinental). Not sure if this impacted the experience, but overall it did feel slightly below what you might expect from that level, even though the stay itself was still enjoyable. The hotel also offers free Tesla charging, which is a great feature. However, this was not communicated at all during or before our stay, and we only discovered it by chance. This feels like a missed opportunity, as it is a strong benefit that could add significant value for guests I did not try lunch or dinner, so I cannot comment on those. Overall, this is a very peaceful and unique stay with amazing natural surroundings and a beautiful lake view. However, some service and operational details need improvement to truly match a luxury standard.

GGuest UserStaying at the Jindu Hotel was the highlight of our trip to Yiwu! The hotel's facilities are top-notch, and the family room was spacious and very comfortable. The bedding was especially excellent, ensuring everyone in the family had a great night's sleep. We found the room package that included meals to be incredibly good value; the food was delicious and very satisfying (kudos to the hotel chefs for their high-quality cooking, especially the master who bakes the 'huotongbing' – I went back for fresh ones every time, so tasty!). The dining environment on the 22nd floor is elegant with expansive views, though it does get busy during peak hours, so try to dine at off-peak times. While it's a bit of a distance from the Yiwu International Trade City, for individual travelers, I honestly don't recommend spending too much time there. Instead, the Yiwu Tiandi, Yiwu Zhixin, and Ginza shopping areas near the hotel are worth exploring, and it's also close to parks like Xiuhu Park. On top of all this, the hotel's service was incredibly warm and attentive. We'll definitely choose Jindu Hotel again on our next visit to Yiwu!

GGuest UserWe stayed in the hotel apartment, which is in the same complex as Pan Pacific Hotel but in a different building. You can tell this hotel put a lot of thought into it – the facilities are excellent, and the details are perfect. The room itself is a bit older, but for a family room, it's great value for money. Breakfast is served at the Western restaurant in the hotel across the street, and it was very rich and festive, perfect for the Chinese New Year period. Their gym is also a major highlight – large and luxurious. Overall, it's a fantastic choice.

The guesthouse is set in a tranquil environment, surrounded by bamboo forests, and the air is filled with a refreshing bamboo fragrance. The room was clean and tidy, with a simple yet elegant decor. The smart home features throughout were very convenient, and the mattress was soft and comfortable, ensuring an excellent night's sleep. The hygiene was impeccable—no strange odors, and the bathroom was spotless, a dream for anyone with a cleanliness obsession. GGuest UserPros: Jojo, our butler, provided excellent service, and the travel photography was great – the photographer was very dedicated. Cons: 1. Breakfast options were limited, and items were frequently missing. The coffee machine was terrible, producing a watery, tasteless drink. 2. The paid activities, especially the boat tour and farm visit, were very poor quality. An older staff member had a bad attitude and kept rushing us, saying other guests were waiting. Including the walk to the vegetable garden, we only spent about 15 minutes picking. For the boat tour, we had to insist just to get a short drift on the lake; initially, they claimed it was too windy to paddle. It was a really frustrating experience. Overall, apart from the butler, the service from other staff members was very mediocre. I've also seen complaints on social media about their lacking 'soft services.' I'd suggest they learn from Naked Group; I've visited Naked Castle and Naked Retreats several times, and their complimentary services are consistently high-quality, with exceptionally enthusiastic staff.
